July Community Thread!

The June Community thread has been moved http://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showtopic=74863

If you're new here then don't be shy! The community thread is the place to come and chat with fellow members of the site who share a common interest with you. Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

RulesMonthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

July Egg Distribution!

How to get an egg from this eventIMPORTANT EVENT NOTES
  1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
  2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
  3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
  4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
  5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
  6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
  7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg.
  8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
  9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.
Event dates and what's being handed out

Mystery = Tapu Bulu
I'll just take whoever I can get. Except for Magma Totodile, cause I already have a shiny and I'd rather not risk taking it away from somebody who wants one.

Posted by: Icicle Jun 30 2017, 10:59 PM

I need to remind myself. Keep. A. Spot. Open.

Hope all those that still need a Cosmog can get one <3. I'll also have to remind myself to leave a spot open on the 6th... so far out hopefully I don't completely forget...

Posted by: Synx Itax Jun 30 2017, 10:59 PM

Definitely trying for Cosmog. I don't wanna have to wait for another Wormhole event. But... then again, that can happen at any point, and Explorations only rotate back around every few months...

Happy July, everyone. I hope those of us in the USA will have a fun and relaxing Independence Day. happy.gif

Posted by: Megatron Jun 30 2017, 10:59 PM

Ooooh man, the distribution is a tough one this month in conjunction with the exploration. To wait or start the exploration, hmm... I haven't seen Cosmog, but I think I'll wait for a header event, as much as I want Lunala.

Really excited for everything happening this month on here and elsewhere ~

Posted by: MintChocolateOwl Jun 30 2017, 11:00 PM

Yay Cosmog distribution! I'm never lucky enough to get the header event so I hope I get that. If not I could go for Tapu Bulu and then get Tapu Fini in the exploration, then I'll have all of them.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jun 30 2017, 11:01 PM

I'm keeping my party open for the whole event this time, I don't care what I get.

I can't believe it is July already, where did the time go? Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians, do you guys have anything fun planned?

Posted by: YoRHa No9 Type S Jun 30 2017, 11:02 PM

I guess I'll go for Cosmog, unless the giveaway on the 4th turns out to be something I really badly want a shiny of.

Posted by: Doctor Octopus Jun 30 2017, 11:03 PM

boy oh boy am i excited to try out that new exploration that got released!!!

although i think im going to wait and do that one second, since i'm probably going to go for the egg distribution on the 6th. probably. the magma toto one on the 5th is very tempting... [looks at the 300+ not shiny magma totos i've hatched]

in the meantime, i need to figure out which of the other monthly explos to do besides the tapus. :T

Posted by: Munchlax Jun 30 2017, 11:04 PM

Pinch, punch, first of the month! wink.gif

Looks like I'll be trying for the 6th again and hoping I have better luck this time around. grin.gif

Also, Camp Nanowrimo just started too. Not sure I'll try it this time but why not... It's so hot to do anything outside anyways.

Posted by: Jacin Tatt Jun 30 2017, 11:08 PM

New exploration looks cool, will probably try it out after current one. Raikou in the egg dist for me.

Posted by: NefariousKing Jun 30 2017, 11:35 PM

It's nice that Bulu is being release here along with the newly released Tapu exploration.
Gives those who missed out on previous Tapu eggs a chance of getting two in a month. happy.gif

As for me, I think I'll try for Cosmog, if not I wouldn't mind a shiny Raikou. grin.gif

Edit:
https://r.gpx.plus/oxbUG
Started with the Regi exploration. Berries for this gal?

Posted by: Icicle Jun 30 2017, 11:37 PM

Had to stop breeding Type: Null, sadly. Buuuuut, I feel like people will be happy with what I am breeding now, lol.

Also just realized I have never done the Zygarde exploration. I guess I'll be doing that after the Tapus.

Posted by: Esc Jun 30 2017, 11:53 PM

Happy Canada day!!! We're celebrating 150 today happy.gif.

Going for the Tapu probs

Posted by: Running On Ice Jul 1 2017, 12:10 AM

It's safe to say I'll be going for maybe Cosmog because I plan on getting the last Tapu I need when I finish this new exploration. I had to start breeding a certain Pokemon too for a certain task. Doesn't matter that much because I needed all the Type: Null I need for a living dex. Hopefully once I can clear some box space I can do the same for Vivillon for kicks.

I wonder how the Memories for Silvally will be obtained. Is it going to be like for the Vivillon flags and they'll end up being found underground?

Posted by: Gigadyne Jul 1 2017, 12:29 AM

Aw, hope i will be able finish TBD in time, don't want to miss Tapu's exploration. Better to step it up, then.

Posted by: Eponadis Jul 1 2017, 02:07 AM

Goodbye June. Hello July.
Laat month was very busy for me because of moving to our new house. Yesterday we returned our keys of the old flat so now that is one thing less to worry about.
Still have a huge amount of boxes to unpack though.

I couldn't decide whether to go for Cosmog or the last Tapu with the distribution. Didn't see a single wormhole yet. Seeing the list of this month special explorations made the decision easier. I was lucky to collect the other Tapus before, so if I choose correct I can get the last from the brand new exploration. ^_^.gif

Posted by: Running On Ice Jul 1 2017, 02:20 AM

https://r.gpx.plus/PfZvX
Could anyone please feed this guy a Pecha Berry?

I was able to find one Wormhole so far, but I did spend some of my Prize Points on vouchers instead because I was afraid that my luck wasn't going to be all that great in finding those.

Posted by: AkaruTheYoshi Jul 1 2017, 02:43 AM

This exploration has been completed 1 times by 1 users.

Woo, I'm the first person to complete Spirits of the Land! Went ahead and got Tapu Fini since the distribution gods weren't kind to me last time. Hopefully they'll be kind enough this month for me to get Tapu Bulu. Or another wormhole so I can get Lunala. Either will make me happy.

Posted by: Silberchen Jul 1 2017, 02:54 AM

I really want the Tapu most... but odds are I'll mess up in some way - like accidentally leaving a spot open in my party at the exact wrong time. It's the last month of the summer term, so life is keeping me pretty busy (and distracted from gpx).

Congratulations, Akaru! That's seriously quick!

Posted by: eludicatorflame Jul 1 2017, 04:40 AM

finally got my computer fixed after ages, so catching up on helping Pal Pad friends now that i'm finally back. really exciting to hear about the new Alola mons on the site, though, I'll try and find some!

Posted by: The Kraken Jul 1 2017, 04:42 AM

When will we know what the TBD egg is?

Posted by: PokeNOM NOM NOM Jul 1 2017, 05:10 AM

A new month!
I'll have more time to spend on the site soon, just one more week before my summer holidays start!
Anyone have plans to go away for a vacation soon?

I'm excited to see the new exploration up.
Got stuck on a certain task looking for a certain Pokémon, but I managed to find one in the Lab eventually.

Got some new, fancy patterns in Magikarp Jump. I hope they'll keep adding new updates regularly, like they're doing now.

EDIT:

Would appreciate some help with this poor fellow:

TAPU EXPLORATION!

I missed Fini in the distribution last month, so now I'm not sure which I should get, since I'm 100% sure I'll mess up this my party management this month too. *pokes voucher*

Gonna do the Regis first so I can put that off for a while. xD.gif

I think I'll be going for Cosmog or the Tapu, since I don't have either of them yet
or maybe even the TBD depending on what it will turn out to be

The Tapu exploration is definitely one I'll be starting right away 'cause in case it's difficult I won't have a hard time completing it.

Posted by: Cycloneblaze Jul 1 2017, 06:25 AM

Well I'll DEFINITELY be going for Magma Totodile because maybe it'll FINALLY be shiny and I can FINALLY finish this hunt facepalm.gif
In any case I have a Cosmog and I can do the new Tapu exploration now! Mega congrats on getting an exploration on the site, Sam! grin.gif

I now have 73 prize points so it looks like time to buy another box. That's a full row I think.

I'm being put on the spot HECK. Sorry mates, I just found out and am trying to decide. I'll choose by the end of today don't u worry wink.gif

Idk what I'm going for. Maybe the tapu because my birthday is on the sixth but cosmogggggg

finally gonna do an exploration again haha

EDIT: ok ye I chose. it probably won't rly excite anyone but it's a pokemon I don't have soooooo. maybe next time I'll choose a favourite. or dialga because I don't think I have a non-shiny one omfg

Posted by: Snowsky Jul 1 2017, 10:20 AM

Decisions, decisions...I think I'll leave a slot open for Cosmog but if I don't get it I'll try for Bulu. I'll get Fini from the explo cause I missed it last month. Doh.

I'm so excited to try the new explo but I have to finish this dotw run first. So close...

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 1 2017, 10:47 AM

I can't wait for the end of this week. I'll be on vacation from July 8th until the 16th, I'm excited to be away from work for a few days. Work has been absolutely maddening with freight and the like, so I'll be glad to do nothing for a week.

Well, the new exploration has put me through the ringer. It took over 12 hours to get a Pokemon for the 2nd task, leveling it up took no time at least.

This guy needs some Sweet Pecha Berries, it got into a bit of trouble:

https://r.gpx.plus/OeEvX

Posted by: Alchemists Fire Jul 1 2017, 11:29 AM

Just saw Sam's post - there's a Tapu Exploration? YAY!! I can finally work on getting some of those guys ^^

Also ooh, I'm totally leaving a party spot open for tomorrow!

Also, it looks like Type:Null must be breedable now? Cause I found one in the shelter, and picked up 2 eggs! Great Canada Day surprise guys, thanks!! (Now to raise one to be a Silvally ^^)

Posted by: Cycloneblaze Jul 1 2017, 12:44 PM

It's happening

Vote Snorunt, Solrock, Larvesta for best SWSH! Or, y'know, go for the troll with three Type: Nulls. It's gotta happen sometime.

Posted by: Yami No Yuugi Jul 1 2017, 12:44 PM

Going for Cosmog for the event, since the last one seems to be the last Tapu, which is available via exploration. Doing the Tapu Exploration now (for Fini, since I missed it last time), and then going to do Genesect. Also managed to grab a Type: Null egg!

I voted for Minior, Yamask, and Binacle for the next SWSH. Only really aiming for Minior anyways, just threw two randoms in for the next one.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 1 2017, 01:11 PM

July 1st. Blegh. Happy Canada Day. Gunning for Mog.

Posted by: Eponadis Jul 1 2017, 02:28 PM

Gave my shiny hunt votes to Salandit, Rockruff and Dhelmise.
Might change my third vote though.

Making good progress with the new exploration.
This poor Tapu needs some help:
https://r.gpx.plus/CHJvX

Posted by: Onyx Jul 1 2017, 02:37 PM

Voted for Salandit, Wishiwashi, and Crabrawler. Good luck on the new exploration, guys! Xatu and Gogoat have been taking me a while but a Tapu Koko egg will totally be worth it.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 1 2017, 02:42 PM

Well I finished the exploration, I must say it was fun. I picked Tapu Bulu, I could have went with Tapu Fini or Tapu Lele but I wanted to get that one out of the way. I can always buy a voucher later and use it on them.

I could have waited until the distribution but I'm keeping my party open for any of the available Pokemon. I'll probably go after Cosmog or Raikou, both of them would be amazing if I get the shiny one.

Posted by: Running On Ice Jul 1 2017, 02:55 PM

For the record, I didn't choose Type: Null. I did go with Bruxish, Rockruff and Mudbray.

I was also able to hatch my Tapu Bulu, so I now have all four of the guardian deities.

Posted by: Gothic Togekiss Jul 1 2017, 03:23 PM

I voted for Cutiefly, Pyukumuku, and Sandygast for this month's SWSH. I'm hoping Pyukumuku wins this because I love it's shiny color.

Thank the gods for this Tapu exploration. I missed out getting the previous three Tapu and was wondering if they ever be accessible via other method. I haven't figure out which Tapu to get first, but I still have time to think it over.

Posted by: Synx Itax Jul 1 2017, 03:28 PM

I picked Salandit, Rockruff, and Jangmo-o for the SWSH. Looks like there's a fairly high chance of some new 7th gen stuff to be in the hunt this time around.

I started the Tapu exploration, but man, do I not feel like clicking. I did a bunch of explorations recently, and I'm a liiiittle worn out. But... I must get that new Dex entry!

Hope those in Canada have a good Canada Day. happy.gif

Snorunt, yes
My other two picks are Wooper and Rockruff. I love Rockruff <3
Bounsweet can wait until later, same goes for Phione.
Wouldn't surprise me if we got Type:Null though :P

Posted by: Gigadyne Jul 1 2017, 04:27 PM

My picks are Rockruff, Dhelmise and Bruxish.
Fairly certain about the choice, as well.

Voted for Snorunt as per tradition and then just picked two random pokemon I adore, which ended up being Dhelmise and... Nosepass.

July already?? It seems a lie honestly.

@PokeNOM NOM NOM
I don't plan on going away on vacation, as always :I My dad is always working and I don't have any way of leaving alone so...maybe he considers taking a small vacation this month who knows? happy.gif

Last month I had my Gallbladder removed and I'm still recovering from the surgery. I can't eat much and I lost some weight but I guess it will all get better.

GPX wise, I'm very happy with the new stuff. For the event, I plan on going for a Cosmog (to have a Lunala) or Tapu Bulu.

Sorry for asking, but could you spare a few extra pechas for Koko here:

I'm betting Rockruff is one of the top votes this time

Posted by: Gryphaena Jul 1 2017, 06:03 PM

Two Roggenmorpha eggs coming to the Shelter soon!

I'm really pleased with the way my GPX+ Groups are going, it's fun having goals to work on together with other people.

It's kinda sad that the Wulfenite Affinity Group closed, maybe someone can start one up again?

Hello everyone! Happy July, and happy Canada Day! It was storming here earlier, but luckily the rain has stopped and the weather is nice (but a little hot for my liking). Hope you all have a good weekend happy.gif

So, I was finally playing a bit more in my Moon game, and found myself a random shiny Ratatta while on the way to attempt to find myself a Bagon, which I still haven't found yet. It is now living in a Premier Ball thanks to my Munchlax.

@ Fennekin: Yeah. That seems likely.

So. Has anyone seen a 20 ounce Sunkist Peach yet? I've seen it in a six pack, but I don't want to BUY that yet if I don't like it. Even though I could get the six pack for under $2 pre-tax.

I want to give you a word of warning. It has been VERY hot down here, so please make sure you hare super well hydrated and sit down when you can and find shade! If you are going do Disney they will let you bring in your food/snacks and water, so take advantage of it! I see you mentioned Harry Potter, so I imagine you're hitting up Universal Studios as well? I dunno if they let you bring in your own drinks/food, but that's awesome! I haven't been there since 2004, where as I was at a Disney World park last year.

Also, as someone who goes there when they have a chance (when I had a car), make sure you hit up Disney Springs. A lot of the Disney magic without the need to spend more money! (Unless you wanna buy stuff from the shops, of course). I recommend the "Cokes Around the World" experience at the Coca-Cola store at Disney Springs cat.gif

Finished the Zygarde exploration, I enjoyed the writing ~ Gonna wait and see how luck favours me in the distributions, since that'll affect which Tapu I get from their exploration.

I voted for 3 completely random Pokemon in the SWSH as I'm in the midst of hunting 3 Alolan 'mons I don't want to restart should they win the poll. sealed.gif

Pretty much everything, I think? I just did random things like clicking and leveling. No idea if the multiplier affects the score, but I got the task done really fast.
Putting that info on the help page is a good idea though.

The last time I went to Disney was in like... 1212? And the last I did Universal was literally earlier the year the Harry Potter thing began. I think I have a photo somewhere of my dad pretending to tear down ministry of magic posters in front of a closed off Hogwarts lol I live too close to Miami now for a leisurely drive to the area and it's so expensive anyway cries. In addition to your own food and drink I suggest that u try to get the lay of the land down. We managed to do almost everything at all Disney parks when we last went because of a lot of planning. Sure it kind of takes some of the fun out bUT

Oh yes, having a plan makes everything so much smoother. I don't remember what kind of plan, if any, I had when I went with my family in 2004. I think we really didn't because there was a lot of backtracking and trying to decide FastPasses when we got in the park instead of beforehand. I mean, teenage me still had loads of fun though. Last year when my friends treated my husband and I for a day at Hollywood Studios we had a bit of a plan, because they had annual passes at the time, so they had the FastPasses already logged in, so we still had some time to just, chill. Did get a picture with Chewbacca and Kylo Ren though because of that (...the Kylo Ren face character was so intimidating omg)

Oh, and Pechas for this guy?

Wow. You were able to visit Disney before the COUNTRY was even formed?

The last time I was there, Disneyworld, was probably 1994? School band went twice, two years apart, for Magic Music Days. I've never been to the Harry Potter thing. We always liked the World Showcase at EPCOT.

Posted by: Sofia Jul 1 2017, 11:56 PM

I get the sinking feeling that Type:Null is going to be one of the ones selected. I bet Rockruff and Salandit are going to be the others.

Because I'm a fan of lost causes, I voted for Tauros, Fletchling, and Oddish since they're next on my Project Shinydex list.

Posted by: Icicle Jul 2 2017, 12:13 AM

I went Rockruff, Dhelmise, and Jangmo-o

What.. I'm not trying to end this dang dragon hunt by forcing more eggs of it into the shelter, not at all...

Posted by: Silberchen Jul 2 2017, 03:01 AM

I went with Mimikyu, Salandit and Jangmo-o...
I was tempted to vote Drampa as well, so I can hunt more dragons. But I doubt that one's all that popular. I looked at a shiny dex to help me make my choices and I really Gen 7 has a good number of great shinies.

Posted by: Cveti Jul 2 2017, 06:21 AM

I'm feeline like cat pokemon for some reason, so I voted for Meowth, Skitty and Glameow haha

I'm pretty positive we will get Rockruff and some of the new pokmoons for the hunt tho, which is cool too c: I still haven't checked how the new gen pokemon look like in shiny versions, so it would be fun to get a surprise shiny from the last gen eyes.gif

There's a Roggenmorpha coming to the Shelter soon!

I was surprised to see two legends in the Safari yesterday, I didn't grab em cause I already have the I Am Legend achievement, but I hope someone got them, they weren't shiny but they're still nice ones.

Pechas for Koko, please? I'm amazed I've gotten this far in the explo already, considering I'm on vacation and stuck doing it all on mobile.

I was surprised to see two legends in the Safari yesterday, I didn't grab em cause I already have the I Am Legend achievement, but I hope someone got them, they weren't shiny but they're still nice ones.

If they were summonable, they were likely from me. The non-multiplier days were perfect for clearing out the huge mass of summoning items I had on hand. In fact, I just released two Rayquaza, a Groudon, a Kyogre, four Ho-Oh, one Lugia, two Shaymin, and two Palkia.

Anyone else still playing Magikarp Jump and Pokemon Go?

I just got my 5th Sh Magikarp in Jump. Now Generation 63. My Level is 49 if i recall right as well.

My work is a Pokemon Go Gym, so been taking advantage when there of the Poke Stop XD

Also can you feed this guy a Pecha Berry please:

https://r.gpx.plus/OLSOX

I've been playing Go off and on; just got back into it again last week when the Gym updates rolled out. Sadly, I'm just far enough away from the main hub of activity where I work that I can't easily get Pokemon OR PokeSpot items. Plus, I'm only level 24 so my Pokemon have moderate CP; I can take out most of a nearby Gym, usually with one or two of their opponents left.

Posted by: Luneon Jul 2 2017, 10:23 AM

Even if Type:Null gets selected, there most likely will be 2 or 3 others to accompany it :P
Y'know in case someone doesn't want to hunt it.

Really glad to see that the distribution spot has been filled with Mesprit btw
I like that one so if I don't get today's then I'll try again for that one

Posted by: Alchemists Fire Jul 2 2017, 10:43 AM

I voted for Dhelmise (pretty pink ghost anchor), Minior & Jangmo-o for SWSH, but I may change Jangmo-o to Sandygast, because black castle ^^

Posted by: Rita Zyon Jul 2 2017, 12:14 PM

I will try for cosmog today and then keep my party open for the other choices. I haven't gotten any of the distributions eggs in 2 months so hoping this month is lucky for me.

I really need to clear out some of my shiny hunts. I am excited for the new upcoming hunt, I voted for salandit, bounsweet, and whismur.

Happy belated Canada Day. I was out all day yesterday, my feet are so sore today. Hope it was a good day for all my fellow Canadians.

Posted by: Running On Ice Jul 2 2017, 01:24 PM

Hmmm. I think I'm going to go for Mesprit instead. That one's my favorite out of the Lake Trio.

Huh. Now THAT would be an interesting name/s for a shiny castle: Harold or Kumar.

So, I just got my second Cosmog egg when a Youngster turned into the Wormhole. Can I make it three later today? Only time will tell.

EDIT - Nope. Still in the running for the other events.

EDIT˛ - And I have a poor frozen pokemon that needs more Aspear Berries: https://r.gpx.plus/fNRvX

Yay, got my Tapu Lele from the Exploration! Some of it I did from my phone, so I ended up not fully reading it, so I gotta go back later to do so. After the distribution I'm gonna go ahead and start the Zygarde one so I can check that one off and I can figure out what ones I still need to do for that one achievement.

Posted by: Gryphaena Jul 2 2017, 03:02 PM

I hope it hatches shiny!

Thank you, Admins!

May I also get some Pechas for this poor poisoned mon?

Event Egg! Best of all, I don't actually have the Cosmog at all. I've been hoping for the portal drop but this works too.

I completed the Tapu exploration yesterday too.

This month though, here comes another Arceus exploration.

Posted by: Gothic Togekiss Jul 2 2017, 03:34 PM

Once again that blasted Cosmog eludes me. I was hoping this would finally able me to acquire a Cosmog, but it seem that I have to keep waiting for a wormhole to appear. I really do wish that header events weren't so rare to find/hard to make appear. Whelp now I know to keep a slot open on July 6th for Tapu Bulu.

Halfway through this exploration now, it's rather good so far. The task involving your Activity Score was something new and interesting*.

Posted by: Gym Leader Clay Jul 2 2017, 04:47 PM

Well no cosmog 4 me. Idk if I should gun for bulu or not. I'm guaranteed to get Mesprit (nice 2 see some ppl interested in my pick!!) but idk man it be nice to get two eggs this distribution to make up for my slacking and forgetting e.e

bless everyone else who voted Dhelmise in the swsh!!! I hope it makes it!!

Posted by: Husdhaid Jul 2 2017, 06:20 PM

I can't believe it's July already, half through the year oh.gif

I have finally ended my exams, just waiting for results of the last one, hope I have passed so I will have more time for a site. But I can say that I've started my summer break. I have my military training for whole July, and medical internships on August.

Forgot about distribution and missed Cosmog egg sad.gif Hope that this header will finally appear for me. love.gif Now hoping for Bulu.

Voted for Salandit, Stufful and Jangmo-o. I hope that we won't have hunt for Type: Null. As far as I think that it's a cool one, it's not a good thing to hunt it in SWSH. But just my opinion.

Posted by: eludicatorflame Jul 2 2017, 06:42 PM

I got a sparkly space egg?? aaaah - i didn't even expect that, i'm so happy? it's such a pretty egg design, props to the spriters on it, seriously.

Posted by: Megatron Jul 2 2017, 06:45 PM

Decided to take a gamble and left my party open, and space puff finally visited me ~ Now I can just snag Bulu from the exploration, though I doubt I'll finish it in one sitting to enjoy the multiplier on hatching it, heh.

....suddenly kinda glad I don't live in NJ anymore. What the heck is wrong with politicians??? I wish I could get the cosmic ability to instantly understand what goes on in people's heads, because across the board (like the entire human race) I found myself scratching my head more and more because people make no sense??

Edit: GEEZE. At this rate I'm just gonna keep this Korechu hunt active instead of constantly deleting it. This is like the second or third Youngster today...

Posted by: Sofia Jul 2 2017, 10:44 PM

I'm glad I didn't get today's distribution egg - I'd forgotten about it, and I already have four Cosmog (three of which I'd evolved). I'll take Raikou, Mesprit, or the new Tapu. Any of them are fine by me.

Opinions, though: should I cancel this stupid shiny Rayquaza hunt or continue it to its bitter end?

Posted by: Icicle Jul 2 2017, 11:29 PM

I tend to only keep legendary hunts as long as I have the egg in my party, then I cancel it after it hatches not shiny. Then if I end up with it again I either resume it, if it's recent enough, or just start a new one. I would say just keep it there if it isn't stopping you from using shiny hunt slots, and cancel it if you need to free up a slot.

Posted by: YoRHa No9 Type S Jul 3 2017, 01:11 AM

No Cosmog, so I'm gonna just go for whatever I can get. Everything this month has nice shinies.

Finished the exploration and hatched my Bulu egg. The contributors did a great job! Probably one of my favorite exploration stories.

Posted by: Gigadyne Jul 3 2017, 03:23 AM

Cosmog continues to elude me. Oh well, keeping the spot open for anything else.

Once I'll finish TBD, it's going to be a while before touching it again. Hopefully, I'll be done with 1 plate at this point.

Posted by: Amberfunk Jul 3 2017, 05:23 AM

So happy that I won the raffle. It was my very first time winning it. Forgot to close my party yesterday as I was going to try for double raikou and I wound up with a cosmog. Fine by me since I need the evolutions anyway. I got a hoopa event a couple days ago and yesterday it turned into the salesman. Going to see how long I can sit on it before it bothers me. If it turns into the old man I'm going to take it. I haven't seen one of those in years I think.

Work is going to be very tiring next week. Prime day is coming up and I have to work 55 hours that week. 11 hours each day five days in a row. They are providing snacks at work for the three days around prime day and buying us lunch one of the days. I'm vegan so I doubt I will be able to eat the lunch. I might just eat it anyway though. It's usually pizza. They also have raffles for gift cards, game systems and stuff as well. Hopefully I can get my rates up by then.

Should be starting the new tapu exploration soon. Not sure which one I will pick.

Posted by: Darky Jul 3 2017, 06:47 AM

Ugh...Mesprit, or Bulu, I can't decide. Missing Lele though, but maybe I'll go with exploration.
I'm having no luck with my curren shiny hunts. Maybe it would be a good idea to drop some of them and pick new ones. I just don't know.

Posted by: Luneon Jul 3 2017, 07:10 AM

Didn't get Cosmog so I'll be trying for Mesprit next cat.gif

As for legendary hunts, I don't think I've ever actively hunted legendaries due to them being so limited in terms of how many you can obtain a year.
I do hunt novelties because I can just use a novel power to get an egg of one of those.

Although I might eventually start hunting summonables...I have a couple items in my inventory that are just sitting there, waiting for me to finally use them.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 3 2017, 08:37 AM

Apparently NJ can't even get money from an entity it created years ago. Said entity keeps evading paying their due and has a profit in excess of 12 billion that the state wants- which was part of why a budget couldn't be agreed upon. Aka pissing match of parties and self indulging greed.

Idk, most of the politics in the majority of states is beyond screwed. I'm intimate with the state politics of where I'm at cause it's beyond screwed up and the politicians like to pass shit en masse in hopes that one or two will make it through the throng (tying up political watchdogs)...which they do.

Summons are the easiest to hunt for cause items are fairly easy to come by.

Lol Christie and lounging on a beach of a park he shut down.

I'll probably go for a Solgaleo, first.

I'm about to do some grocery shopping, still haven't decided on what I'll be eating tonight.
How do you guys do this? Do you make lists of the upcoming week, scheduling what you'll be eating?
Or do you decide from day to day? And what will you be eating today?

Finally another header event, (un)fortunately it was a chest this time. Got a Red Orb out of it so it's not all bad although the Lab is still too bloated to use it.

Do any of you guy have pet dog(s)? Do they always bark at their food at random times?

Wouldn't mind helping me out in curing my friend?

I check the offspring tab every now and then to see if any of the eggs I bred hatched shiny -- my Bulbasaur pair is currently sitting on 1.2k eggs with no shinies sad.gif

What I did notice today though was that one of the offspring of my previous pair is now a shiny Mega Swampert; what's really neat is his history: he was bred back in 2014, evolved to Swampert and levelled to 100. Released to the safari in January 2016. New owner submitted him to the Secret Santa in December 2016. He was then again evolved to Swampert and levelled to 100, and ultimately changed to Mega form just last month. It's nice to look at the whole thing hehe.

I typically plan out what I'll eat weeks and even a month in advance but that can change up now and then. Generally I buy meat, nonperishables to last me a month. Produce and perishables I nab every week or so to be flexible as to what I want for the next few days in advance. Less trips out = less money spent on gas/car upkeep/being in miserably cruddy weather.

Posted by: Gym Leader Clay Jul 3 2017, 05:42 PM

Our grocery habits are weird tbh. Like a mix between planning day by day and weekly. It's kind of a chaotic mess but I think we save on the $$$?

Got raikou because I was too busy watching game grumps lmao. not that I mind too much because knowing me I'll miss out on bulu if I waited. At least there's now an exploration for the tapu buggers

Posted by: x Sam Jul 3 2017, 06:16 PM

I usually purchase the basics whenever I need them. I always make sure I've got salad based items at all times because it's a huge part of my diet.

The rest really involves odds and ends I can put with salad. So a lot of chicken, quorn stuff, fries, frozen veg (bc fresh goes off too quick).

I might see if I can find a local market around here - I'd be more inclined to eat healthy things that won't cost the earth (and it'll go to independent things opposed to large chain tycoons)

I actually have space to make things and store things in this flat now, so we'll see how it all goes. But I usually stock up on large packets of pasta and rice because I usually eat it fairly often (curries, chilli, spaghetti bolognese etc)

I try to meal plan for the week but most of the time I don't. We eat a lot of beans and rice. Mostly on the days I work I throw beans and rice in the slow cooker with some vegan bouillon and some veggies if I have them that way I have food for dinner and lunch the next day. I've been trying to go grocery shopping less. Trying about twice a month. Fresh veggies are bought more often if we have the money. Trying to save up for Azriel's birthday and christmas in a few months.

If I lived by myself (or with Wymsy), we'd definitely plan out what we want to buy so that there's as little waste as possible and so that we wouldn't have to make many trips to the grocery store. We'd also keep many non-perishables on hand like various types of noodles, frozen dumplings (okay, I guess it's perishable if the fridge dies), packs of tuna, and so on. We also like to make big salads and use up as many vegetables and stuff as possible. Living with my folks, there's hardly any planning; they just... buy what they want. Unfortunately, that leads to food waste. sad.gif I'm trying to help, though, by cooking even more at home.

I didn't get Cosmog from the event, but I hope I'll get the one being handed out on the 6th! Just gotta remember to keep my party filled until then. If I do get it, I'll just use my voucher on Cosmog. Sure, the Wormhole will show up again eventually, but I'm impatient and want Solgaleo's dex entry. >_>

Living with people can be such a pain at times. No two ways about it. Got housemates with terrible nutritional/health habits. One's a certified sugar addict like no tomorrow. Nothing can get him to change his ways. He's got pre-diabetes and is on his way to Type 2 at the rate he's going. I try to get them to not eat garbage since I care, but there's days where I just stop giving a damn because they want to go down that path of self destruction. I mean at this point my food's off limits to everyone and anything I cook is for myself. Got my fridge under lock and key.

Posted by: Icicle Jul 4 2017, 12:04 AM

We try to grab things that are fast/easy to prepare and eat, so a lot of frozen meals/food simply because of the heat. The main area of the trailer can be just as hot as outside, so cooking is honestly a pain between us sweating and the temp raising from using the oven/stove. And then having to do the dishes in that heat?? No thanks. So not the best for us, but we try to do what we can to make it better for us. And usually grab it early in the month and try to grab everything in one go, simply because of the inability to get to the store regularly.

Right now we're all full up because thankfully we have an Aldi nearby we can get rides to, because it has a dozen eggs for 60 CENTS and boxes of mac and cheese for 33 cents and it's becoming a BIG help to save money but actually get more than just frozen meals, though the cooking mac and cheese is a pain. But it's worth it for that cheap cost.

My family tries to plan a menu a week in advance. We also stockpile anything that can keep for a while, so there's always something to fall back on if plans change.

Got my Raikou, hatched it, no shiny. Still stuck on mobile until Saturday, so that's the earliest I'll be doing my next shelter drop. I'm visiting my stepmom's hometown in Bulgaria and didn't bring my laptop. It's been loads of fun so far. Yesterday we went up to the mountains to see her family's old summer property, visited the Rila Monastery, and got lunch there. Ended up befriending https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DDzsc5uXsAAP5-E?format=jpg who liked the food better than we did.

I definitely do plan on changing my diet habits when I'm living with my girlfriend, since she's lactose intolerant cries (I only have problems if I just drink straight milk tbh) but she's a bit more experimental w/ food. She lives w/ her big family right now and it sucks diet wise, because everyone else is a picky water and her parents never stood up on the "u have to eat whatever the heck I give u or ur starving, bye" policy when they were wee. Meanwhile she and I are so excited to try new food. I was so happy eating venison and alligator the first time lmao

Anyway, happy America. I think I forgot to say happy Canada on the first, but I was busy on the first cries. Got no plans today because eat ribs, get me Mesprit, and drown in Crash Bandicoot let's plays.

oh my GOD I love Aldi so so much. The closest one to me is about a 15 minute walk ad it's an actual godsend. Yhea cooking from scratch is a pain with time but the cheap prices for exactly the same food is SO worth it. I think I kept myself going for nearly a month with just stuff from Aldi once. Albeit it was a lot of stuff in packets and tins but hey, Ł30 to feed one guy (who eats a fair amount) for nearly a month is ace.

Speaking of doing grown up stuff me and my flatmate purchased a corner sofa yesterday. It was already in a sale and we managed to knock even more money off it with a code so we're both pretty happy. It's nice to live with someone who has a similar mindset of:

"yeah a sofa is a sofa I just want something to sit on" "How do people spend so much on a sofa? Ł1500 piss off"
So there's that and a tumble dryer coming tomorrow hopefully!

Haven't seen much of him because the only sitting places we have are bedrooms as the lounge/kitchen is pretty empty.. soon to be changed! I think we're heading to IKEA at some point too.

When I am alone or if I am just cooking for myself and a couple of my siblings, I try and meal plan for the week if not a couple of weeks in advance. It gives us a good idea of what items we will need from the grocery store and how to use leftovers in another meal in order to limit food waste. Sometimes I went to a grocery store more than once because I forgot an ingredient; making a list before hand always helps.

I haven't been clicking too regularly lately, but, the extra bonus today has got me clicking. Got to finish this exploration!

Posted by: Icicle Jul 4 2017, 10:39 AM

It's, unfortunately, still SUPER far out from us this Aldi (according to Google Maps it's a 14 minute drive, and walking is an estimated 2 hour walk! Though I don't think that's even viable, I don't think there's sidewalk a good portion of the way and that road is technically a highway), so getting a ride to it SUCKS (mainly from a guilt perspective, I feel less guilty going to the Walmart Supercenter that's a but further from us than that, but that Walmart has a lot of stuff, not just groceries)

But yeah, the prices at this specific one are cheaper than the two others in the other direction from here, as far as I know. They certainly were cheaper than the one my friends go to, which is what we based our first trip around.. so it was nice to survive the end of last month on $10!

Posted by: Luneon Jul 4 2017, 11:23 AM

I either don't make a list or have a general list of stuff somewhere. No in betweens :P
As for food, I buy whatever's discounted or whatever I want to. Usually a combination of both.
Occasionally a nice treat like salmon

Still don't like cooking though....

Haha, the Mesprit egg appeared in my party just as I was trying to fill it xD I was gonna try and go for the Tapu, but at least now I'll be closer to having the 3 lake spirits xD

Posted by: Rita Zyon Jul 4 2017, 03:08 PM

No egg yet, not sure though if I should fill for tomorrow to try for the tapu or not. I probably won't since I would like to get an egg as it has been awhile. Good luck to those who are still hoping for one!

I was so active with my exercise last week but this week I am so lazy. It is so hot here, going to reach 30 degree Celsius today. Maybe I will exercise indoors today.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 4 2017, 03:10 PM

Looks like no Mesprit for me. I haven't had much luck with getting the distribution Pokemon the past couple months. I've had my party open all week. I guess it wasn't meant to be. I just hope that I get Tapu Bulu next, just for the shiny chance.

I have three more work days this week, and then I'm on vacation for a week. I'm really looking forward to it, I've been run ragged with freight and the like so it'll be nice to relax for a while. I wish I could afford to go somewhere all week but just getting away from work will be amazing.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 4 2017, 03:36 PM

About fucking time I got a cosmog from the header. Over a month. Geeze.

Posted by: Synx Itax Jul 4 2017, 05:03 PM

ARGHHH I forgot to fill my party and got Mesprit. :| I guess I'm gonna have to purchase another legend voucher so that I can grab Tapu Bulu and my other Cosmog. Can't wait for the vouchers to get updated again.

We have Aldi down here where I live (they expanded here a few years ago), though I've only been once. It's a bit too generic for me, personally, but I can definitely see how awesome it is for those on a budget. I'm a Trader Joe's person myself when it comes to budget food shopping, and it's neat how those two are the same company. happy.gif

Aaaand happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans!

Same here, I expected I'd get Mesprit since it seemed like a lesser popular mon to me oh.gif
But now I'm hoping for the Tapu since a lot of people seem to have forgotten to fill up party, or simply went for space puff.

Ahhh finally I just got the Event Header for Cosmog. Means I can now go for Sol as I used a voucher for an egg for Luna!

Edit: What, I just got my 2nd Hoopa header in a week as well o.o

Posted by: Icicle Jul 5 2017, 01:01 AM

...well hello there tiny egg. I literally cannot remember the last time I saw this header event??? Like, it had to have been shortly after it was introduced as a thing, that's all I can figure considering I can't remember running into it at all. Here's to hoping it's shiny at least!

Posted by: miu Jul 5 2017, 02:26 AM

Woke up this morning to an unfamiliar egg in the party hehe, I was keeping a slot open for the exploration, and got this little guy. Now I'm only missing Uxie; at least I know what special exploration I'll be choosing in a future month, hopefully soon ^_^.gif

Posted by: Shadow Fennekin Jul 5 2017, 03:56 AM

lol almost gave myself a panic attack
I never turned off the Dex filter I had for a scav hunt task.... and after I chose Tapu Bulu's egg I went to look and make sure I did indeed choose the right one only.... no mystery egg! (I forgot about Arceus being permanently locked up there too) I panicked and looked to see what Tapu came up... and Tapu Fini was the only one.
It was then I noticed I had a filter on and shortly after I turned it off, Bulu's egg was up there.
What a relief, I was worried I goofed and would have to wait until I got enough prize points to buy Bulu. Cause the event is already not an option for me, I got Raikou. happy.gif

Posted by: Luneon Jul 5 2017, 01:20 PM

Speaking of Tapus, I think I'll go with Fini once I get to that task
I already have Lele and Koko, and between Bulu and Fini I like Fini more.

At the moment I'm processing relatively fast (mainly because I got most the clicking done last night when I couldn't sleep)
Berry tasks are my favorite because I can just relax and sit back while I wait for other users to feed https://r.gpx.plus/VqxOX some berries grin.gif

Good for me cause that means I can perhaps play some more botw or maybe finally watch that Summer Wars movie that someone recommended to me 3-4 years ago

Btw tomorrow there's a Splatoon 2 Direct around... uhh... 10AM??? I think???
I really hope they'll announce another Global Testfire

Posted by: Vande Jul 5 2017, 01:40 PM

I chose Fini from the Exploration, hoping to get Bulu tomorrow. Not got an event egg in months so fingers crossed!

Posted by: Rita Zyon Jul 5 2017, 02:46 PM

The only tapu I have so far is tapu koko. Once I finish mew two's exploration from last month I am either going to try for fini or lele. I would love to get bulu tomorrow but I am also going to try for magma totodile today as I really want an egg as my luck hasn't been good lately.

Posted by: Mamanator Jul 5 2017, 03:04 PM

I haven't had the pleasure of any Tapus nor have I gotten Cosmog from the header or event. I'm hoping to one day run into Cos' header, but so far that pesky "I untied your shoelaces" pest is all I seem to run into lately. Perhaps, as I begin to up my playing, I'll have more chances of finding the right header for Tapu.

And yay! An explore for Tapu?! Woah! I'll have to try it out, but I have to put explorations on hold for now while I sort out my home-work life. LOL

I'm really hoping that my play this week helps me be eligible for tomorrow's event egg, but since I missed the eggs from the last event I'm not going to hold my breath. Hopefully my GPX luck will return and I'll get both the event egg tomorrow and finish one of these aging shiny hunts.

Here's hoping!

Posted by: Rita Zyon Jul 5 2017, 03:12 PM

Yay I got the egg today! I am so happy about that too since I haven't gotten an egg since April. Thank you so much ^^.

Posted by: Running On Ice Jul 5 2017, 03:19 PM

I didn't get Mesprit yesterday like I hoped I would, but I did end up getting Magma Totodile, so I'm glad that I at least got something.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 5 2017, 03:28 PM

Well I didn't get today's egg, I bet I won't get one tomorrow either. I just have to hope that I get SOMETHING this month or it'll be the second month in a row with nothing. I'm not overly bothered to be honest, I have the dex data for Tapu Bulu.

Finally, after 4 days, I got my second Cosmog header. I'm going to be using the Moon Flute to get a Lunala(unless it hatches shiny, then I'm getting Solgaleo). I've gotten so many Korechu headers waiting for a Cosmog, I don't need any more. I already have 2 shiny Korechu lol.gif.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 5 2017, 04:19 PM

Yay time to unlock my party.

Posted by: Icicle Jul 5 2017, 04:58 PM

Reaaaaalllly hoping I get this Tapu tomorrow. I've struck out on every one so far...

On different, less ranty news, my husband and I got a cable so we could hook our laptop up to our spare monitor. Since we're both trying to stream (him more than I) and having a really awkwardly sized laptop screen makes having all the necessary windows open a bit weird and cumbersome, so hopefully this works well for us!

We will need another computer chair though, this one is busted and sits at the floor and for the "desk" we have makes it, at least for me, hard to use the laptop because my hands have to reach up to do anything. So it bugs my arms..

Posted by: Cycloneblaze Jul 5 2017, 06:35 PM

I got a Magma Totodile egg like I wanted. grin.gif Another step on my long journey to get a shiny. Or the end? It hasn't hatched yet, so we'll see.

In other news, I finally downloaded Spectre of Torment, the latest expansion to Shovel Knight, and am playing it. It's difficult, but really good! Once I'm finished I'll go back and watch the speedrun that was done at SGDQ earlier in the week - speaking of which, is anyone watching it?

I've been watching some of the runs for SGDQ, but I've been working so I haven't watched many runs. Most of the runs I want to watch either happen when I'm at work, or its at ridiculous times. One of the runs starts at 4am my time and I work the next day, so rip that idea.

Posted by: Icicle Jul 5 2017, 07:32 PM

I've been watching games I like for SGDQ! Super excited for a few games coming up, and it seems like every night becomes a "Well, have something to watch 'till I get tired." I have missed a few due to the weird sleep schedule I have, but luckily there's the YouTube back ups that will come.

And ohhh, the Spectre of Torment run is pretty awesome! Obviously won't spoil it since you're playing, but yeah. I had no issue watching it because I am super bad at Shovel Knight and I had no guilt because my husband wasn't home at the time! He's the one that's playing.

Posted by: The Yatagarasu Jul 5 2017, 08:07 PM

No eggs for me so far. Terrible luck lol. I did finally get the Cosmog header event so that was nice. Going to try to finish up the Tapu exploration today.

Does anyone here play Ace Attorney? I knew a bunch who did when I first joined the forum but they're all inactive now. Finished Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice last month. I have a new appreciation for Apollo. I also want Nahyuta's hair...because it's beautiful.

Posted by: Shadow Fennekin Jul 5 2017, 08:56 PM

The only SGDQ run I really, really wanted to watch was the Okami one... and it was at early morning on my timezone, so I'm waiting for the youtube upload. I tried to watch the Pokémon Puzzle League run, but then a friend asked me to proofread something he wrote for a forum-based rpg he runs and, knowing he was in a hurry, I focused on that instead happy.gif I also watched a bit of the Nier: Automata run (oh god all those puns) and the beginning of the Heart Gold run.

I forgot to leave a spot for Cosmog, so I guess I'll try for Bulu tonight.

The last egg event of the month, I just hope I'm lucky enough to get Tapu Bulu. Speaking of Bulu I just realized that we're one Pokemon away from having an all cattle/bovine team (Terrakion, Tarous, Miltank, Bouffalant, Tapu Bulu). Just need some kind of water buffalo and the team would be set.

Not sure is matter to anyone but I'm gearing up to release a ton of Ditto and some Type:Null into the Shelter. The Ditto were just sitting there taking up storage.

Not instantaneously mind you, but they do change over time. Had a youngster turned into a Hoopa portal and the recently that turned into an old man. I'm still holding out to see if it turn into something else.

Happy Birthday! Nothing like a parent to make you realize you're older now. LOL I hope that the cake was good? Butter cream or whipped cream icing? I'm a huge fan of the latter.

What exploration are you working on? I know that the DotW has a lot of clicks. I so need to get back to that one. I just wish there was an easier way (aside from the battles) to level up our Pokemon for that explore. *sigh* One day I'll get back to that. One day. *smirk* The one item hunt I've yet to try is the Treasure Hunt of Mysteries. And then there is the Spirits of the Land. I think I am going to just dive into that one and hold my breath that I can survive it. It sounds relatively new so... there's that fun edge to it. I am happy to see that we can still embark on two special explorations a month; I could've sworn I saw it say one a few days back and I was like "woah what?!"

Whomever designed the egg... it's pretty cool! And I love the description. I haven't gotten far enough into the game to know all the Tapu's or what they do. I'm still working on leveling up for my second trial! LOL

Posted by: Gothic Togekiss Jul 6 2017, 03:26 PM

Well I didn't get today's egg which is kinda of a bummer. Yes I know that the system distributes eggs to people at random (hopefully it's random), but I still feel a tiny bit sad about missing it. I hope having all those Type:Null eggs and/or keeping my Tapu Lele within my party didn't screw over my chances.

Today has been raining for several hours now. I can't quite explain it but whenever it rains all day I feel both tired and depressed. I could had the best sleep of my life and feeling 100% great, but when the rain start pouring I feel like I lost all my energy..or at the very least feel like I don't want to do things.

Posted by: Icicle Jul 6 2017, 03:38 PM

Geeze. I am striking out so badly with these events, I mean that's the whole decrease in eggs being distributed... just seeing how much of a difference it makes and I'm trying not to be salty about it.

Oh man. I'd kill for several hours (I normally say days, but then my yard would flood...) of rain! One, because it would likely cool things off a bit for me (because no sun beating down on my room, but pulling the temp down in general) and two I actually am the exact opposite when it rains. A rainy day for me is like a sunny day for most people. I wanna get up, go out, do things. I mean sometimes it makes me wanna be lazy, but in a happy content sort of way. Which a stark contrast to my normal lazy which stems from a cocktail of mental illnesses and disabilities lol.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 6 2017, 03:54 PM

No event for me for the second month in a row. I'm a tiny bit salty that I didn't get any of the distribution Pokemon this month. I had my party open all week, guess it wasn't meant to be. The cut in eggs from 350 to 200 doesn't help I guess. My luck has been absolutely terrible lately so it's no surprise I didn't get anything. Congrats to everyone who got something this month, I'll just sit in the no prize corner, lol.

The weather isn't helping with my mood either, rain rain rain. The one day we got anything remotely nice was when I was working. Can't enjoy the sunshine when you are stuck in a building all day.

One upside is that after today and tomorrow I'll be off for a week! It'll be so nice to be able to relax for a while and not have to worry about getting up for work in the morning. I just hope that at least a few of my days off is going to be nice.

Shiny Tapu Bulu

Me: WHAT!?!?!? *presses face into screen*

So... YEAH THAT HAPPENED?!

So... yeah I... wow. Looks like the first on the site as well. I'm utterly speechless.

Posted by: eludicatorflame Jul 7 2017, 09:22 PM

I finished the Tapu exploration - to my surprise, I had finished enough explorations to get a Legendary Voucher as an achivement! That, and I got another Nebby egg from a wormhole...omg, what is my luck with legends right now? I decided to get a wish-granter though with the voucher: i'm pretty happy with how that turned out.

Probably one of my fave explorations story-wise so far, definitely!

Those click-a-thon tasks of TBD tire me out. But I'm getting closer to the end. After that, I'm definitely taking on Tapus and Zygarde.

I wonder if Xerneas and Yveltal will get their own exploration.

According to a guy on YouTube who done some comparisons, the lifesize plushies are bigger than the real thing would be.

Well, its hard to say since they aren't technically made and released yet - the only things we have are their prototypes which will be different from the final product.

But the site itself confirms each plush is meant to be 1/1 size.

Jolteon and Glaceon are the "tiny" ones at .8m or 2 feet, 7 inches
Espeon and Flareon are each 2 feet 11 inches
Umbreaon, Leafeon, Vaporeon and Sylveon are both 3 feet 3 inches
And Eevee, of course, whose had multiple to scale plush released of him will be one foot exactly.

But yeah space wise it will definitely be hard to find somewhere to put them - expensive doesn't help either aha

Still, I happen to collect Jolteon merchandise, so. I couldn't deny myself this splurge

So I got "dragged" fishing with friends today (I say dragged because I didn't fish, my husband did with one of our friends and his son and some others from church, I sat with his wife who also didn't care about fishing lol). I was out in the sun for... maybe an hour, hour and a half, and I got BURNT. I mean, I've gotten worse burns (the last time I went to the beach my eyes were pretty much swollen shut I got such a bad burn, WITH SUNSCREEN. WITH REAPPLYING IT). Today I didn't wear sunscreen, because we didn't have any and I didn't expect to actually go by the guys while they fished (us womenz were in the car or under the picnic area the majority of the time).

I'll be fine by Monday or Tuesday, I'm sure. But right now it suuuuuuucks. Simply from the heat radiating off of the arms, honestly, lol.

Ok ye the tapu I got was bulu. I love bulu. What a qt.

The only pokemon plush I have is of Metagross that I got at Epcot. Cute bitty Metagross. Sadly, I don't think most of my favorites are popular enough for me to like easily snag a plush of. :<c plush eevolutions r cute but i'd lowkey rather get a pidove or mankey or whatever. cries. now if I had more money and space I'd get Jolteon. Best save my money.

In other news my gf just linked to me a video titled Exeggutor's Having A Good Time on YouTube and I'm literally incapable of doing anything else with my time now. I'm deep into the pokemon memes now.

At the cost of my fingers, wrists, 1-5 keys, and sanity, I've finally gotten the Elite Clicker achievement! With that, I've now finished all of the achievements. This one's been daunting me ever since it came out and I finally took the plunge and went for it. It honestly wasn't as bad as I was expecting but it was still pretty rough. I was getting about 25k interactions per hour which added up to just over 10 hours of clicking with numerous breaks. I don't think I'll ever surpass 50k in a day again though headache.gif

Completely forgot about Tapu distribution and missed it, MEH. Well, it's nice that we have explo for it right now, so I will get them sooner or faster. happy.gif
I was complaining so much about those header events, that right now I have Cosmog and Hoopa eggs. Time to hatch them.

Will be back active on Monday since I have my last exam on that day and I'm finally starting my summer break love.gif (despite the fact I have military schooling)

There are seven Carbink Allotrope and a few Tapu Explo mons coming to the Shelter soon!

Speaking of the Tapu Explo, I need better Battle Tower mons or better types against the NPC or both, man.

I am getting my ass kicked.

Same for me

Since Arceus isn't among my favorites at all, I never minded how its original form was so exclusive and the typed ones being through this exploration.
Now we can also get normal Arceus easier, makes me wonder what the next exclusive Pokémon will be.

I still haven't done my second DotW, since I'm stubbornly holding out for the Dragon Plate first (even though I have five Pixie Shards, lol) and I've not been hunting dragons until recently. But, yeah... I guess GPX+ has an endgame now? Hunting all the Shiny Arceus. Wonder what ThunderMoss would think of that... hmm.gif

Just hatched him.

My first words were "he looks weird".

*looks up*

Shiny Tapu Bulu

Me: WHAT!?!?!? *presses face into screen*

So... YEAH THAT HAPPENED?!

So... yeah I... wow. Looks like the first on the site as well. I'm utterly speechless.

UH IN OTHER NEWS....... Did anyone hear about the lifesize eeveelution plush being released in Japan? Managed to get myself on a pick-up list to get Jolteon! Can't wait!!

Congrats on the shiny Tapu! That's awesome!!

Oh god, life-size Eeveelutions? I'm in trouuuuuuuble, and my bf isn't much better off xDD

Oh...they're $350 USD (ew, exchange rate) and Umbreon is already sold out... Guess I'm safe. Espeon would be cool to have, but I guess it's not meant to be *sigh* (another reason to learn to sew and make my own)

In other news: I saw on my Prankster header for a few days and it's now turned into "Mysterious Chest", guess I have to keep waiting for it to change into the one for Cosmog...

Just saw the Arceus update, am curious.

Normal type was the first one released. It was just a pain to get. I think it was a prize for a contest or three. And I think at least one was found in the Lab?

What I want to know is, "Since DotW will now give certain people Normal Arceus, will there be a cooldown period for them? Or will they be able to get one egg and immediately start back over like Plate Arceus?"

Posted by: Jade Jul 9 2017, 10:16 PM

Minor update: Arceus

*starts yelling in excitement and runs into a wall*

I think there is about 11-ish on the site? Most often, normal Arceus was given out as a top prize in any voting contest we did like the egg designs or dress up contests and what not and there was an EXTREMELY slim chance it would appear in the lab (I think about three ever did?) and one time it was given out an extra prize in an exchange I think?

But I mean this is still fairly exclusive - getting all the shards and doing all those explorations is no joke. DotW is only beat out by TBD as the toughest exploration on the site. I think it took me over a year to really get through everything required - and I got one of the plates for free! Although I guess... you might be able to release said Arceus hmmm...

Welp, once this SWSH starts I know what exploration I'm doing to encourage me to play xD

Back to the eevee plush, yeah their price is high; technically they are only $200 from the site but the fees the pick-up people are tacking on are pretty heavy since they probably have to go the post office one-by-one with these things and then shipping will be no joke - likely another $100. I should of seen this coming; darn you pokemon center and your need to kill my wallet with your cute Jolteons.

Posted by: Gryphaena Jul 9 2017, 10:29 PM

I was excited to see the Arceus update, I just need to learn how to battle on this site's system and then I'll hope to get that section of the site out of the way to make the Arceus Explo easier.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 9 2017, 11:34 PM

The middlemen are making about $100 per plush. The actual cost is $189.23 with the conversion rates. Tack on shipping which shouldn't exceed $45 at the very highest (Dimension wise they're not that large, I've had larger stuff than 3' x 2' *rough dimension estimate for the plush* shipped to me from overseas for about that cost that was much heavier than a plush.) and some nominal tax...it should be about $250-$260 or so. The rest is pure gravy on their part.

Posted by: Lodrelhai Jul 10 2017, 03:52 AM

Possibly dumb question, but since normal Arceus can be changed, but the type-specific Arceus also have their own eggs, if someone were to transform a normal Arceus to, say, fairy type, then put it in a gift exchange, would it become a fairy Arceus egg or go back to a normal Arceus?

Also, how many years do you think it'll take someone to hunt 18 shiny Arceus, one of each type?

Posted by: Darky Jul 10 2017, 07:39 AM

DotW takes so long to complete that it's really its own cooldown, if you get my meaning. I doubt they would change it.

The restriction on releasing Arceus is for the whole species; those few people who already had a normal Arceus can't release them any more (although they could once). There's a very good list of all the Arceus obtained before DotW on the GPX Wiki http://gpxplus.wikia.com/wiki/Arceus, and it seems complete.
What I would like to know is, since no Arceus have been found in the Lab for four years now, was it completely removed from the Lab rotation? I kinda suspect so.

Glad I've started back up on trying DoTW. I completed it once already and had been saying I would wait until AFTER I got the Subway Exp. All to try again, but decided to just go ahead with it. I've got several completed shard collections plus a lot of 3/4 shard collections. All the more incentive to keep at it.
I feel like getting the dragon-type plate is going to be impossible though. No shards as of yet - currently on a Dratini hunt to get my first shard. I should keep an eye out for Dragon pokehunts, though it's not that much better in terms of luck for me usually.

I finally have a shiny hunt that has reached 500 eggs so should I complete it soon at least I will have that achievement done (although part of me is now hoping it will reach 1500 eggs for that other achievement). I haven't been around much lately but, slowly working through the tapu exploration.

I was so hyped when I saw the news about Arceus that I started the explo right away yesterday night. I have all the plate arceus so I can get a normal one this time, which has been one of my goals since forever on this site.
About the swsh, I can only pray this time. No matter what pokemon are chosen, my shiny luck has been so bad these last idk 4 months?? that if I DO hatch a shiny I'll throw a party.

EDIT: oh, one of my votes for swsh is rockruff. I'm already doing a hunt for it but it's a chance to increase the eggs at shelter and, if I finish the normal hunt, who knows, start another. That is, if my luck returns crying.gif

All I can say to those people shiny hunting good doggo Type: Null is good luck - you're going to probably need a lot of clicks!

I'll go for Rockruff and Salandit - i'll try to hunt one salandit of each gender - but I think I'll leave Null to the more expert egg hatchers on here www

If it weren't a 30k egg, I'd totally go for it, but I'd like to at least have a shot of getting a shiny for the hunt. Maybe if I successfully get a salandit I'll try.

Some day, rotom, some day we will hunt for you...

Mad respect to anyone actually hunting Type:Null for their SWSH choice, I wish the best of shiny luck to all 3 of you.

:P

All joking aside, I do hope we get some high multipliers for those who do plan on hunting Type:Null.

I'll start with getting two shiny Rockruffs, move on to getting a shiny female Salandit, then if I finish those 3 early I'll try my hand at hunting a Type:Null officially. Otherwise I'll pick up a few Null eggs here and there like I've been doing.

Type Null breeds like Dracowymsy: only with Ditto, due to unique egg group.

I'm already hunting for Null at my own pace because I don't hate myself and don't challenge myself lmfao so I went for rockruff. If I'm lucky enough to get a shiny Doge I might just split my time between the Null I'm already doing and another Doge. Gonna dread trying to get a female Salandit, but until now I've been having decent luck with getting my desired gender with shines (three female burmies in a row? wow ok) so ayyyy who knows.

EDIT I can't believe someone else voted for Nosepass. Godspeed my friend, one day we will get it.

Let me guess: there's a huge difference in levels between them. If, for example, Silvally is around level 20 +, then Ditto should be in that level range as well.

Hey one of the Pokemon I voted for actually made it this time, but it was no surprise. I had a feeling that Salandit was going to be one of the choices. Rockruff and Type: Null I knew were happening as well. I decided to start with Salandit, as I already have a Rockruff hunt going. I'll probably grab some Rockruff eggs every now and then, hope I can finish my regular hunt.

Well I'm halfway through my vacation already, but man it's been so relaxing. I've actually been able to catch up on a ton of sleep I missed, thanks to work and then SGDQ screwing up my sleep schedules. But there's not? Ditto is lv. 1 and Silvally is lv. 25? So it's not /too/ glaring a difference?
Ah well, can always lv. up one of my other dittos if that's /really/ gonna be the case.

The level difference between parents of differing rarity shouldn't be above 5. Level 1 Ditto won't work, but a Ditto of level 20 and higher works just fine.

My opinion doesn't differ from most of yours. I'm glad Rockruff were chosen, finally something I picked made it to top, which isn't much of a victory in this case considering how popular this line is.
Like some of you, I'll be starting with salandit and at the same time try to finish my ongoing rockruff shiny hunt. Type: Null is a no no. XD

https://r.gpx.plus/EgSJX

This guy could use some anti-burn berries.

I'm glad that normal Arceus is now available. I know that someone asked a few pages back how it would work if it were placed into a gift exchange now that it'll have the ability to change forms. We're still thinking about that and whether or not it'll be able to be placed at all into those anymore, so stay tuned.

Posted by: Myou Jul 12 2017, 09:21 PM

God, I feel stupid... I chose to hunt Type:Null since I was already hunting Rockruff and already lucked upon a shiny female Salandit... not realizing it was a 30k egg. And cancelling would lock me out for a week, which would probably shoot my chances of succeeding right out of the water. This might be the first SWSH that I end up failing. irritated.gif

Posted by: Running On Ice Jul 12 2017, 10:02 PM

Well I know which one I probably won't hunt. I'm going with Rockruff because I need to hatch another one to go with the first one I got. Then I may try for a female Salandit, but I'm not sure how much luck I'll get out of that one.

Posted by: PokeNOM NOM NOM Jul 13 2017, 04:25 AM

Good luck to everyone participating in the SWSH!
Especially those brave souls that take on a Type: Null hunt. o.o

It would be nice to finish my Rockruff hunt early, I have a holiday coming up in a week with limited internet access.

Posted by: allorake Jul 13 2017, 07:03 AM

I already got my Shiny Salandit grin.gif I'm so happy. Now it's a time for Rockruff. Good luck for everyone!

Posted by: Gym Leader Clay Jul 13 2017, 07:56 AM

Well now I know why it took me like years to get the skitty on wailord achievement

Doesn't the status of the Pokemon in your daycare change a bit if you just leave them tho? That's what happened to me, since that level gap was way more than a measly twenty.

Or is this just another weird thing that happens because I was on the mobile site

Anywhoo yes I honestly... Don't start hunts of pokemon not in swsh or past swsh, because knowing me, one time I'd just get three pokemon I already am/was hunting, especially w/ alola being so popular. Only like oranguru and exeggcute seemed less popular than regular pokemon.

Posted by: forever miserable Jul 13 2017, 10:57 AM

After five years away from the site, I'm not even sure what to do anymore.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 13 2017, 12:10 PM

Take it one day at a time? I came back from a long arse hiatus myself as well. Kek.

Welp I have 6 days to go before the stupid lock is off. Sigh.

That's one thing I'm surprised about, you'd think that with Null being a swsh mon, that there'd be a plier already but nope oh.gif
Guess it won't happen till after the weekend 'cause of "free" pliers we get in those.

Tip for Null hunters: if you travel loads, don't forget to make use of the mobile walker cat.gif

Posted by: Vande Jul 13 2017, 02:54 PM

By some crazy luck, I bred my own Sh. Rockruff and completed it overall at #4 fastest....best i've ever done in a SWSH.

Now to go attempt for the 2nd XD

Posted by: Charming Evil Spirit Jul 13 2017, 03:57 PM

I decided to choose Type: Null and I regret this already. It seems I'm going to be waiting more than 24 hours for every batch of eggs when it's not a multiplier day. I should've gone with Rockruff first and then only done Type: Null after I secured a SWSH victory. I can't see myself hatching more than 200 Type: Null eggs total at this rate.
On the bright side, I got a shiny Missingno. by chance.

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 13 2017, 05:16 PM

For the first time in a very long time, I got my SWSH shiny Salandit on the first day! I was 6th place overall, the highest I've ever been on the Fastest Shiny Hunt list. I've decided to hunt for shiny Salandit again, mainly because I am not touching Type: Null until multiplier days. I'll probably causally hunt it on the side of my regular shiny Rockruff hunt.

Posted by: Gryphaena Jul 13 2017, 05:27 PM

Two Carbink Allotrope coming to the Shelter soon!

Well, I forgot that the SWSH started last night for me.

Oh well.

At least I'm finding my eggs.

Posted by: Quincia Jul 13 2017, 07:15 PM

I can't believe I already got my shiny Rockruff~ This is my first time finishing it so quickly!
Well since I have time, I think I'm going to go for a shiny Salandit too.

Posted by: Gryphaena Jul 13 2017, 07:25 PM

Oops, I should have said that the Carbink Allotrope were going to the Safari, not the Shelter, sorry!

I hope someone wants em.

Man, hatching mons for IVs is taking me a while. I might finish my Explo next month instead.

Find out what Pokémon your opponent can use.
Once you find out the Pokémon, overlay a type chart on that and try to get as much coverage as possible.

If you have decent type coverage, just 120 IV is enough to defeat.

That's how I done it (a few of the Pokémon I have happen to be in that range).
Now what worked for me might not work for you but I still wanted to give you that tip regardless.

Posted by: Gryphaena Jul 13 2017, 08:39 PM

Thank you, Lune! Well, if 120 iv could have done it, i guess i already released some in that range, i'm aiming for 150.

Oh well.

Posted by: Cycrum Jul 13 2017, 09:04 PM

I am sincerely hoping that a multiplier day will come soon, especially for those hunting for a shiny Type: Null, such as myself. If not, hopefully everyone will still succeed on their side-wide shiny hunts nonetheless.

Posted by: Alchemists Fire Jul 13 2017, 10:20 PM

I also forgot that the SWSH started last night, I always think it's reset on the 13th, not reset on the 12th xDD

I decided to go for Shiny Rockruff, and will go after a Shiny Salandit if I'm successful (or potentially a second shiny Rockruff to evolve).

Good luck to anyone who picked Type:Null! I hope you're blessed with many multiplier days!

Posted by: The Yatagarasu Jul 13 2017, 11:48 PM

Was hoping for a higher multiplier today but I suppose this will have to do. Going to throw on some video game OSTs and get clicking. Idk what I was thinking picking Type: Null but challenge accepted!

Posted by: miu Jul 14 2017, 02:36 AM

Congrats to those lucky ones who managed to get their shiny on the very first day!

I'm currently sitting on 26 eggs hatched and a full party; I get the chills every time I hatch a male Salandit, I think phew, it's not shiny grin.gif

Posted by: Gym Leader Clay Jul 14 2017, 07:46 AM

Usually I'm in the top 100 for fewest eggs hatched or shortest hunts tbh and I start out really slow. I might have to pick up the pace because last time I didn't get the shiny until the last day ... Well let's see. At least my Null hunt is on the side.

Posted by: Natsume Reiko Jul 14 2017, 10:32 AM

3 days to go in order to start. Welp this will be interesting. Doing Nulls on the side.

Posted by: The Majestic Mr L Jul 14 2017, 12:14 PM

Yeah like what is up with all these short hunts

did the shiny ratio get increased or something

I literally just got 15 Rockruffs for the honey and one of the last two I needed was shiny.

Posted by: Wastelander Jul 14 2017, 02:44 PM

Looks like it's gonna be a long hunt for me. Past 40 eggs and nothing so far. Probably gonna get it after 400 eggs knowing my luck.

Posted by: Rallaa Jul 14 2017, 07:15 PM

Well, I got my shiny Salandit but it was male so I decided to try going for another. I just got another male.
So I've given up on female shiny for now and I'm going for Rockruff.

To the SWSH? I believe as long as you have the pokemon's dex information you should be able to select it for a hunt.

Or for talking in general? If that's the case, I don't think it's ever too late to join in~

Ended up sleeping the day away. Here's hoping for lots of clicking today. Maybe I'll finally go for another record. I think it's like 60k or so. Idk if I'll ever get Elite Clicker. My hands hurt just thinking about that one.

I am working on hatching eggs as I do my 7k interactions for tapu exploration.

Oh gosh, I wasn't paying attention earlier when I was releasing pokemon and I accidentally released an entire box of novelty pokemon. I can't believe I did that, oops! I will have to figure out which ones I released to get them back later on.

So there's two Roggenmorpha eggs coming to the Shelter soon!

I like to keep at least 30 Pokechests on hand for Scavenger Hunt and special months.

It helps keep numbers down, I think.

I also like making Sky Gifts with my extras.

Posted by: Manah Jul 15 2017, 05:39 AM

I used to keep as many chests as possible for the release of new sets, now I keep them for special months because there's not much of a point opening them anymore... I have 1511 right now.

Posted by: Gigadyne Jul 15 2017, 08:19 AM

Time to stockpile on chests for both Scavenger hunt and mass opening with chance power. Still have quite a lot of stuff to collect.

I'm fairly pleased with relatively fast Rockruff hunt, now trying my luck with Salandit.

I was gonna reply to this thread as soon as I woke up, but then I spent a while in the bathroom. Sinuses.... Mold.... Something...... It was horrible. By now I'm better I think? I dunno trying to drink coffee and live life so there we go.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here who hoards trinkets. With me it's laziness, but I should get to opening them on special days. ...if I remember :<c

And THIS is why I don't breed for my own hunts unless absolutely necessary. My indecisiveness would absolutely kill me.

I have around 600 chests stockpiled... I usually just open a bunch on the last day of the months when we have scavenger hunts or when we have new monthly trinkets. Otherwise, I let them stockpile.

Posted by: miu Jul 15 2017, 11:37 AM

Ah I should've thought to keep them for special months, oh well. I ended up opening all of them, it was very much like mass-clicking, and got about 800+ new trinkets; probably would've gotten more had I remembered to active chance power...

I had a Salandit pair and now I switched to Rockruff; both pairs make 36 eggs per cycle too. I didn't actually pick up any eggs from them today either, since the multiplier is making the hunt go really smooth, but I do like to have a breeding pair for SWSH, because I just like to participate and breed shinies. Even though I don't hatch them myself. I just don't do it because I get SUPER competitive, and it brings out a side of me I don't particularly like, so I just don't breed what I'm hunting because I get really salty when I breed myself a shiny I'm currently hunting and someone else got it. I usually just breed stuff I already have and doesn't seem to have many other people breeding, so I'm able to enjoy someone else getting my bred shinies more since I'm not in competition for them.

If you open your trinket chests, you can use the doubled up trinkets to create sky gifts.

I'm on the last stage of this Arceus Exploration.

Now all I need to do is sit around and wait. The only good thing is that there are always lots of people around on multiplier days.

Posted by: Mikaku Onchi Jul 15 2017, 02:00 PM

I wish I could hoard trinket chests but I just can't, my anxiety doesn't let me...Idk seeing the notification there makes me feel anxious. It can't be helped. unsure.gif

Got my shiny salandit just now. Unfortunately it's a male so I'm trying again for a female while trying to get a shiny rockruff from my already ongoing hunt.

Oh, I know many already helped but it doesn't hurt to let this cutie here asking for some berries, right?

Uh, I hijacked someone's Rayquaza Summon yesterday, but it became my first Misquaza, so I wasn't being too greedy, I think.

I was looking for Ditto eggs, I swear!

I just happened upon the egg.

Took advantage of the multiplier to get my creationist achievement while working on all my low maturity shiny hunts. Soon I'm gonna evolve my hoard of Aipom and free up six PC boxes.

The pokechest notification would normally bother me into opening them, but since there are constantly notifications for shelter, battle, and pokewalker, I can easily ignore it. It also helps that it's out of the way at the bottom right.
I wait till I have 150-200 and open them with the chance power.

You can't get back Pokémon that you released. Once they've been released by you, they will not show up in the Safari Zone if anyone else releases them.

I'm SO glad I got my shiny Salandit (and now Salazzle!) after only 28 eggs. I was worried it'd be male, but nope, female. grin.gif Now I'm hunting Rockruff, and it's not going quite as quickly. Hopefully, I'll hatch a shiny one of those soon as well.

Pidgeotto Celebi could use some help:

https://r.gpx.plus/wTVaX

Regarding Kit Kats, I'm a fan of the sweet potato flavor. And green tea. Mmmm. I've had quite a few different kinds and didn't find one that I didn't like yet.

Posted by: miu Jul 16 2017, 04:11 AM

Sadly, I didn't get enough doubles to make a sky gift, but I'll be opening my chests from now on, and maybe soon I'll be able to gather enough.

In other news, I just got my first Cosmog egg, I've had the Hoopa event in my header for almost a week, and it finally changed to Cosmog! I'll probably evolve it into Solgaleo, as I've been playing Sun and I do prefer it over Lunala.

And as of just now, my Rockruff hunt has surpassed my Salandit hunt in number of eggs; if I do manage to get a shiny Rockruff soon-ish, I might try either for another one to have both midday and midnight shinines, OR for another shiny Salandit in hopes of getting a female this time...

Posted by: Detective Looker Jul 16 2017, 07:11 AM

Decided to shiny hunt Rockruff for the SHSW! Here's hoping I have some luck this month! I was super excited to get a shiny Alolan Vulpix last SHSW.

I've also had a Hoopa header event annoying me for 2 days now...it won't go away! Hoping it transforms into a Cosmog event soon!

i finally got a cosmog header event before bed! two, actually. which is pretty wild considering there was a time last month where i was clicking and maneuvering the site like crazy trying to influence it happening on my own. last night, it just happened out of the blue. but either way, they were well worth the wait! i'm super excited for the both of them to hatch and finally use my flutes!

i'm also shiny hunting rockruff for the site white hunt because i only need one more for my complete shiny trio! this one's going to be a midnight form lycanroc, whenever i actually get it.

Are you going to try hatch a second mon, if so, which?

Posted by: Asbel Lhant Jul 16 2017, 08:52 PM

I hatched my second shiny Salandit for the SWSH, another male. I'm not overly bothered about another male, the odds just weren't in my favor. I'm now hunting for shiny Rockruff, I plan on going after 3 total, if I get a few lucky hatches. One for both Lycanroc forms and one to leave as a Rockruff.

I got another Cosmog egg the other day. I had the Shady Salesman for a day and then it switched to Cosmog. It didn't hatch with good IVs so I'll just leave it as a Cosmog.

Back to work tomorrow, I had a nice week off but now it's back to the grind. I only have to work 4 days this week, I have a dentist appointment on Friday so I have that day off. It is also my weekend off, so I'll have another 3 day weekend, unless my schedule changes.

You completed your Shiny Type: Null shiny hunt after 23 eggs.

Also, GoT IS BACK. Tonights episode was sick. So excited for the rest of the season. GOING TO BE AMAZING.
