They spawn in the Lab at least 7 times a day, at random times.

Well, nobody can give you egg descriptions, as it's against the rules. However, you'll start to become familiar with the more common egg descriptions and can begin to pick out rarer eggs in the process. Also, once your egg dex is pretty full, you can use repels for a shot at finding a Ditto, or anything else you still need the data for.
