Anyway, without further ado:

Yay for saying hi again!
Nay for being late again...

BUT, good news! I am OFFICIALLY done with Hell-Half-Year! Woooo! -throws confetti- Which means, yeah you guessed it... ROOKIE'S BACK IN TOWN! Oh yeah!

And that means no more lateness from my part! Unless I do another human mistake/end up distracted by something else.

Let me tell you, now that I have played the actual Pokemon games (BDSP, Arceus and Shield) I can get quite distracted with them unfortunately... Woops.

BUT ANYWAY, you are not here for those updates (unless... You are? If so, I sincerely appreciate that you care a lot to want updates, thank you ; w;), so let's go to the actual meat of the poll, THE THEMES!

Right now I have 56 suggested themes! Tho', I'll need to consult with some people, mainly Euca, because some of those themes now have Pokemon that we used for the SWSH... HUMMM... But hey, that's a problem for future me! For now, a small introduction for those who are new here (and, if you are a pro with these polls, this is the part where you skip to the actual themes!):

Are you tired of the SWSH being, most of the times, the last three Pokemon that have been added to the site? Are you tired of feeling as if your favorite generation doesn't get enough love, or is swept by the most recent ones? Do you wish you could have a hand in influencing the Pokemon we are going to hunt?
Look no further, you are in the RIGHT place.

For those who don't know me: I'm usually one of the organizers for past SWSH themes we've had! Particularly, I helped with a lot of 'em and, in fact, we are about to get our first year of consecutive themes! Hooray! Honorable mentions are Moth Month (March 2021), Changing Seasons (November 2021), Sparkling Gems (January 2021), and the last one Endangered Species (Rhyhorn, Wooper, Oranguru) and now, once again, I want YOU to decide which theme you'd like to see in the next SWSH!

Of course, all of this effort couldn't have been made without YOUR help, so thank YOU for making them a reality! Here's for the future themes you guys decide to go for!




The plan is quite simple: every non-SWSH month I'm gonna post a thread just like this with 3 themes, and you just have to choose the one you like the most! Then, the next month (the SWSH one) you'll see posters or info graphics inviting people to vote for the theme that had the most votes. PLEASE, consider voting for it and help out the other people who are already excited for a certain theme!

You can also look at it this way: if they get their theme quickly, it means we can get to the one you'd like faster than if you didn't help them! Mutual help! \o/




Personally, I encourage people to express themselves and ask for what they'd like. So, if you have a theme you'd like to see come true, please, go ahead and comment in this thread with it!
If you can, please tell me the reasoning behind them if there's any (for example "Pidgey, Fearow, Farfetch'd, because I like Kanto AND, more importantly, BIRBS") so I can try to think of ways to make them more appealing! Be that with a brand new story like I did with Lovecraft Lovers, OR by bothering https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=61873 into using thematic images related to what you wanted!

So, think of one theme and post it if you want! Be sure to https://gpxplus.fandom.com/wiki/Events#Site-Wide_Shiny_Hunts, and make sure that the Pokemon you want haven't been hunted before!

Currently we have 55 different themes, but you can always propose more!




So, next month could be a little chill. We don't have any Pokemon games coming up (thanks for that! My wallet needs some rest!) and we are having Earth Day event right now so MAYBE we'll see some drop in activity due to burn out.
REGARDLESS, it's still SWSH month SO I just used a real random number generator to choose from a shuffled list of all the themes suggested so far, with the exception of ONE theme that was previously chosen but it wasn't the correct month for it. More about it later. Anyway, tried to make it as randomized as I could make it, so rest assured that I did my best!

Anyway, the reason behind this month's options are:

- All the Rage: Mankey, Tauros, Sandile. Proposed, named AND the nice description by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=56534. In the wake of this scorching July sun only three pokemon can beat the heat... that's right, the angriest mofos out there. There's Primeape, the fan favorite: he has anime veins and he's so angry he literally dies. Tauros is angry even at things that aren't red! and I picked Krookodile because it gets anger point but it has these weird sunglasses sculpted into its head so it always looks angry.

- Speed Demons: Diglett, Tailow, Nincada. Proposed, named AND nice description by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=27612. Some of the speediest mons on the site! All of them will zip by you in a flash so maybe we could add a trail of sparkles behind them as well!

- Max Raid Rampage: Tauros, Wailmer, Skwovet. Proposed by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=35141. Name and description by https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showuser=27612 (honestly? I just couldn't decide on a cool name so thank you Isla!): (Dyna)Max out your rewards this SWSH with these raid boss tier pokemon!

So, which one will you choose and would like for us to promote? Be sure to vote in the poll!

I also can't stress this enough, but: Your participation is important, both in this pre-voting stage and in the actual voting stage! So, please, consider participating!

As a small note: this is actually the second time that Max Raid Rampage has been selected. DANG pumpkin! The real RNG seems to love you!
Also also? Two of these themes have Tauros in it so.... Is this a sign of something? -wink wink- (I seriously don't know, btw).



This project is, by NO MEANS, replacing the official SWSH nor officially associated with it. This is just a COMMUNITY project that focuses on trying to organize future SWSHs to give them an extra flavor.
As such, I CANNOT and WILL NOT promise that the winning theme of this stage will be the official SWSH next month, but you can BET we'll do our best to make that come true! That's why your cooperation in voting for the winning theme is also encouraged.

I think the rage theme is really interesting! But also, the speed demons thing could help people get some decent pokemon for the battle subway... I'm going to vote for rage, though.

Duelling Fates
Oddish, Mime Jr. , Snorunt

All of these Pokemon exemplify the idea that life can grow in weird and wonderful ways, and our choices can decide our fate. Whether you want to Mime or Rhyme, be the Belle of the ball or grow something Vile, this theme has something for everyone! When the time comes, how will you and your Pokemon choose to express yourselves?

New Theme Suggestion:

Holiday Big Eaters
Gulpin, Mawile, Lickitung

Each of these pokemon could probably eat a whole holiday feast by themselves, who better to celebrate harvest and the coming months of festivity than pokemon who'd make sure no one has to eat leftover sandwiches for the next week.

pretty self-explanatory; it's a bunch of kitties! specifically pokemon based on house cats, representing a variety of common household breeds.
