Appearance: Aulstan stands at around 5 foot, eleven inches, with a medium build. His hair is a dark brown and is always messy, and tends to get in front of his eyes. His skin isn't pale but isn't tanned, staying in between the two extremes. His eyes are a piercing blue hue. He always wears jeans, and prefers green T-shirts, along with a worn in pair of sneakers.

Personality: Aulstan is generally rather calm and collected, although he gets frustrated easily when insulted. He tends to be agressive and overly-competetive in the heat of battle. He is overly-trusting to a fault, but also loyal to his friends. He has a dry sense of humour yet rarely laughs. When in a battle, he prefers efficiency over flashiness. He is usually very kind to his Pokemon, although he gets angry when he starts to lose a fight.

Biography: Aulstan was born and raised in Barley, and has never been far from it. From an early age, he has enjoyed reading and writing. In school, he is usually head of his class when it comes to studying languages, but he lags behind a bit when it comes to more creative thinking. When he was eight, he entered a writing contest, and his short story won first place. The prize was a choice between several Pokemon for the winner to receive. Aulstan picked out a Swinub, because he was currently reading a book about Ice Pokémon. Lacking creativity, he chose not to give it a nickname, as he couldn't think of one.
When Aulstan turned fourteen, he learned that his school board offered a grant to Pokemon trainers who had seen every Pokemon in the region, and recorded it on their Pokédex. Although he hadn't had dreams of being a Trainer before this day, he knew that the grant would help him get into a university where he could study all he wanted. He spent the next year training with Swinub to set out, and eventually caught a Ledyba to help him on his journey.

The personality should be a little longer. What does he act like when insulted? How does he battle? What ishe like when winning/losing a battle? How does he treat his Pokemon? Is his sense of humor dry or slapstick?

So make the personality a bit longer, and we're good to go.
