I recently evolved my Metang into Metagross yesterday, and for some odd reason the sprite won't change. I know sprites usually take like half an hour or an hour to change, but it's been a whole day. I didn't let the evolution page redirect me to the pokemon's page, I did just click on Party, so that might be it...

Refresh the page, I do that all the time, and I have the same problem. It's because your browser has associated 'pokemon code X' with 'image X' but the image for 'pokemon code X' has changed, and your browser doesn't know it.
