Global PokédeX Plus Forums _ Bug and Errors _ Shards for already-obtained plates counting for daily shard?

On October 19th, I hatched a shiny Cacnea. I received no shard from this, as I already have a Meadow Plate.

That very same day, I hatched a shiny Pom-Pom Oricorio. I have a Zap Plate but no Sky Plate, but still did not receive a Sky Shard.

I've looked back in my Journal and verified that I did not hatch any other shinies that day. My best guess is that the Cacnea's nonexistent Meadow Shard counted as my shard for that day.

The only time you get a shard based on a pokemon's secondary type is if the primary type is normal.
