Global PokédeX Plus Forums _ Wi-Fi Discussion _ I reeeeaaaallly need help!

I have PKN BLACK. I don't know how to trade with people that are faaarrr away. Can I do that or do I have to be up close to someone to trade with them in the Global link? And how do I get my friend code. I finished the game and I still don't know how to do that. I have my Wi-Fi setup already. And this will help me a little: will someone using a DSI please answer some of these questions? (it doesn't matter if your using a ds, please help!)

As far as I know, as long as your DSi can successfully connect to your router and get internet, you should be able to trade with people around the world; I'm not quite sure whether or not DSi's are compatible with WPA/WPA2 routers, though, since the closest systems I have are an original DS and a 3DS (so I'm probably not much help there ). Just go into a Pokémon Center, talk to the lady on the second floor next to the globe, choose the second option from the top, choose whether you want normal GTS or GTS negotiations, and voila! ^_~.gif You can find your friend code in your Pal Pad, third option down - it says "<your player's name>'S FRIEND CODE".
