(Searched the forum; didn't find a thread like this.)

Are there any status messages you've seen lately that you laugh at or you think are kind of cool? I love reading these on the users list while waiting for tabs to close, and I've seen a lot that I wish I had come up with for myself.

Share any status messages here, funny or not, but to be honest I don't really want to see people promoting their own status message. So, anything you liked that came from someone else?

As for me, I think it's a bit funny how everyone is asking for Pal Pad adds with the new achievement, but there have been a few variations on it that crack me up. Unfortunately, I can't find them at the moment. I'll look for them again later...

Wow, tanks. I honestly did not expect to see me make the list when I checked the thread. I also named my shiny Pachirisu Vertigo because the neon pink stripe just seems to remind me of the song, so that's where the status came about. I was going to change it to something Panic! related, especially since I named my next shiny Mona Lisa, but I'll leave Vertigo up for a few days now.

Anyways, I saw the shin status by Megatron that was already posted for the first time, and it made me chuckle. Other then that, haven't seen any particularly awesome ones. I'll look.

When the earthquake/tsunami hit Japan, I thought it was really awesome to see so many users show their thoughts, care, respect, etc. were on Japan & its people. It's really great to see such compassion and unity even on a site such as this. It gives me hope for humanity as a whole yet.

Other than that nothing really stands out off the top of my head.

I can't help but wonder how many people have actually seen the diabetes television ad with Wilford Brimley. I remember it from, like, the early 2000s... maybe even as early as the 90s (I'm not sure though)... and I haven't seen it in a long time, but maybe that's just my area.

and DIABEETUS references have been everywhere... maybe it's on the Internet somewhere to be preserved for history... idk.

As for statuses, someone who added me has had a status saying "sorry, gone until wednesday" for the past 5 days... yet they have been online and clicked back [sometiems even more than once] every day so far... sure, it's totally wednesday now... but they definitely weren't gone... unless there's a phantom clicker D8

also, I can't help shake my head at the status saying

"add me for lucky egg clicks". Or something like thatt.

I mean.. c'mon... do people really not realize lucky eggs help themselves personally and don't affect the users they click. at all. I mean, really <______<

It was generally anticipated that remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire would appear in Generation V, since remakes of Gen II appeared in Gen IV, and remakes of Gen I appeared in Gen III. This, of course, didn't happen, and since we're almost in Gen VI, it won't, either.

(Pity, too. I had a team planned and everything.)
