Such Egg-celence!

So recently in the media, there have been a lot of coverage in the media about people who save other people, especially infants and babies using CPR. CPR is indeed a very useful tool that a majority of people seem to not have, albeit the number of people learning CPR is greater today than in the past.

Do you guys think that CPR should be a requirement for applying to a job that deals with society?

It's already mandatory to learn in school. Or at least, in the school I attended it was.

That's true but in some states, like Florida, it's not mandatory and not part of the curriculum.

Well it probably should be.

I can't really think of a job that doesn't involve society.

Well, technically all jobs deal with society at one point or another...
but regardless of your meaning by that, CPR should be a requirement for everyone, as it isn't too dificult to learn. I myself know CPR, and although I haven't had to use it yet, I'm sure that making CPR a manditory part of the cirriculum would save hundreds if not thousands of lives. Of course, that may not seem like much compared to the 7billion people of the world, but I'm pretty sure that dying from any kind of cardio or pulminary failure is a horribly grousome way to go and, not exactly being pronounced ahead of time, exceptionally tragic as people don't know ahead of time and therefore can't get their final affairs sorted. The more family members spared from that, the better.

I think requiring people to learn CPR is a great idea. I can't think of any downsides to it.
