I always wondered why Team Rocket chase after Pikachu. They have a talking Meowth and they keep trying to steal something special. =_=. The routine is bothering me... Its getting boring.

They wouldn't know what to do with Pikachu if they caught it, at this stage, and Meowth would have guilt trips over giving his little yellow buddy to Giovanni. It's just the way James fills his time to put off going home and marrying Jessibelle.

they give pikachu to the "boss" then he will make them rich and then theyll quit and then theyll stuff theyre faces full for the rest of theyre lives

Sure, Pikachu's strong, but not overwhelmingly take-over-the-world strong like Team Rocket makes it sound like... Or maybe Pikachu IS that strong? o.O
Why don't they go legendary hunting instead.  Instead of stalking a 12(?)-year-old boy. (Ash should be 20 by now or something, shouldn't he?)

If they caught Pikachu Giovanni would stare and say "WTF, is THIS what you've been chasing for 10 years?"
Seriously he's not that special... he beat them once, a feat later copied by this  I also found it amazing how Meowth was entered in a Pokčmon contest and resorted to cheating to seem special. He. I think thats one of the running jokes that nobody seems amazed that meowth can talk.

The thing that bothers me is that Pikachu is by no means rare. When they started chasing it, it was a typical Pikachu. Of course now it's probably a level one million Pikachu, but it still sucks...

Pika was rare in Red/Blue/Green. Now it's just another piece of crap, worthless pokemon that refused to evolve in Yellow.

who pays em anyway? im sure giovanni wouldnt give them a cent for any reason. plus team rocket did ctch mistys togepi once and brought it to him but he didnt want it . WHOLE nother story when it evolves. hes after that thing like its the last pokemon in the universe
