When we Rp and bring up other places besides furoh, could we maybe make our own little countries for the sake of more world? (Not traveling, maybe mentioning language, or maybe past travels, and maybe talking about where something was from? Just a kind of origin thing?)

I'd really prefer to limit the amount of fan countries. As it is, Furoh is an island, removed far enough to make travel by plane or boat the only feasible option for gaining access.

Can't one simply mention canonical continents? Besides, I could make up a continent and have Matt talk about it, and everyone else would say: "Huh? What's that?" I'd really prefer we stick to canon. And of course, noncanonical Furoh. >_>

If you wanted to say something analogous to a real life culture, you could mention it without naming the place it comes from.

But if you want to mention past travels, sticking to the existing regions are enough.

Look! <--This Map is horribly inaccurate, since Sinnoh is supposedly north of Kanto/Johto, and Almia may or may not share a border with Orre.

I mean, we've got Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh for starters. We also have Orre, Fiore, Almia, the Sevii Islands,and The Orange Islands, not to mention places like the Battle Zone. That amounts to eight other regions, not counting the Battle Zone/Frontiers/Poketopia.

In those regions, we've got deserts, jungles, canyons, mountains (lots of mountains), ancient ruins, friggin Not-Tokyo and Not-Osaka, and any other number of wacky locales you'd like to mention.

Plus Furoh itself has a widely varied series of locales, so you shouldn't have much trouble.
