So yeah as the title in quote marks states this team is all about defying newton's laws of physics. This team was designed specifically for the 2009 VG Showdown championships this spring.

Lead

"FrightScare" the Gengar
Item:Wide Lens
Ability:Levitate
Nature:Timid
EVs:252 SpAtk/252 Spe/4hp
IVs: Aiming to breed 31's in Spa and Speed
- Skill Swap
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt

Description: This is the key to the car. With this moveset, Gengar can devastate 11 types. 5 of them coming from the rather inaccurate Focus Blast, which is why I gave it wide lens boosting it's accuracy from 70% to 77%. Now, you may be wondering why I put skill swap on this moveset. All in good time...All in good time. And also to destroy Smear sets.

"Thundaga" the Electivire
Item:Expert Belt
Ability:Motor Drive
Nature:Hasty
EVs:172 Atk/252 Spe/4hp/80 SpA
IVs:Aiming to breed 31's in Atk and Speed
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Discharge
- Earthquake

Description: Now this is why Gengar has skill swap. Gengar skill swaps with Electivire to get motor drive. Electivire gets Levitate, causing it to become a psuedo-spiritomb/sableye--if you still don't get it, vire officially after the swap has no weakness. Now Electivire has brick break over cross chop because of protect spammers in Doubles. I split up the Atk EVs because if I left it as 252 EVs then discharge would be useless. Now since Gengar has motor drive, Electivire is free to use discharge but NOT Earthquake. Now you may question "Gengar is already fast? Why does it need speed boosts?" One reason, Pursuit users, Especially weavile, which has a highly respectable 130 base speed If it want's to however, gengar can either faint or skill swap again for vire to use earthquake.

Reinforcements

"LEPrecon" the Azelf
Item:Shell Bell
Ability:Levitate
Nature:Timid
EVs:252 Spe/252 SpAtk/4 Hp
IVs:31 IV in speed And 25 or greater in spA
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball

Description:Yup, It's your Good 'ol nasty plot azelf with a rather revised moveset. Azzie is backup if Gengar Is having trouble. I love this guy. This guy can sweep almost anything if it wern't for Nasty plot. However, If electivire is in, then He can't use discharge, But azelf can use energy ball for annoying bulky waters. And Vire is still free to use Ice Punch to tear up those flying types.

Question?: Should I keep nasty plot? Or widen my advantages with another move?

"AMPowered(from Ampere and powered)" the Zapdos
Item:lLife Orb
Ability:Pressure
Nature:Timid
EVs:252 Spe/252 SpAtk/4 Hp
IVs:31 IV in SpAtk
- Thunder
- U Turn
- Roost
- Heat Wave

Description: This is my first time setting up a Zapdos move set. Yes Thunder is inacc, but it's only for rain dance teams. U turn is for pesky psychics, Roost is for recovery, Heatwave is just to spread damage and burns around. Personally I choked on describing azelf. THis is much better to switch in than azelf. Because Zapdos won't even give a crap if vire uses discharge or earthquake..

This is my team everyone. It's my first time makin one for doubles so do your worst and let the ratings commence!

Weaknesses
Gravity users-My team falls apart if I come across a gravity user. Gengar would be terrified of ground moves, and so would electivire. Not a very good situation.
Taunters: Opponents can taunt gengar, but I assure you they won't like it, AT ALL.
Sleepers:If gengar falls asleep=Doomed. If Vire falls asleep, not so serious but very critical.
Trick Roomers: If you haven't noticed, each one of my pokemon is maxed in speed. Trick room doesn't put me in a very good postion.

In case in the essential laws of Newton's physics are not respected than maybe something went wrong and must be changed in order to make the moves resemble real ones? I'd suggest you to get consulted [removed] when aimed both to do my physics assignment and have basic physics laws and phenomena explained.
