I love raichu!!! Ash needs to evolve his pikachu already!!!! Or else i'll sneak in his room when he's sleeping and shove the thunderstone down pikachu's throat! LOL not sure if it'd work that way but meh....

What the hell is a "Riachu" but if your talking about Raichu then definitely Raichu.
Why? Well I like Kangaroo rats, and Raichu is the closest thing to one. Not to mention I love electricity. Now why not Pikachu? I mean, it IS the mascot and Ash's signature pokemon, and obviously it's much cuter, right? That depends on who you're asking. Sure I like Pikachu, for the sole reason it becomes Raichu. Whose to say I have to like the mascot of the series? Why must I cheer for a lame trainer whose had no thought or character to him? Sure Red from the manga series has a Pikachu, that's because he's Red, Pika is awesome, and it's because of that mascot status that Red hasn't evolved Pika into a Raichu, or Red in the games hasn't evolved his Pikachu into a Raichu. I like Raichu because it's bigger, I like the ear design, I like the body design (again Kangaroo rat), and it's faster than Pikachu. Sure little Pikachu can get more power to his Attack and Special Attack stats with the Light ball but really I can hit them just as if not harder with Raichu without the need for the speed loss. If I wanted to use Pikachu, I would put him on a Trick Room team and invest all my EVs into making him into a powerful Mix attacker. But hell Generation five gave that to me in the form of an electric eel with levitate, what do I need a Pikachu that can't evolve for? |

Pikachu is SO much better than Raichu. In fact, Pikachu is the best Electric Type, at least in my book! Don't worry, Pikachu, you'll always be my favorite Electric Type.

Raichu. At least I can stand his voice. Pikachu going "Pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika ..." like a moron when using Volt Tackle simply annoys the hell outta me.
And Raichus are fluffy beasts.
