I personally go for Deutschland (Germany), because I was born there (then move to England and right now I'm in Japan ) Anyway, if there are any international football fans, then write your opinion. It is almost impossible to tell who is going to win (because of course Europe has the best football in the world .) And remember that anything can happened in football (like the last Euro when Portugal lost against Greece right there in Portugal ) ********** Well... both the Copa America and the Euro have ended, we just need a few years to know who will take the gold in South Africa. Or another country if the rumors are true. Who would you like to see take the GOLD Remember, anything can happen This post has been edited by AOS: Oct 9 2008, 07:39 PM --------------------

Well... Germany lost . But we at least have 3 Euros... oh well, anything can happened in football, and Spain finally removed their 44 years of bad luck in big tournaments.
Congratulations on your second tittle 'Furia Roja' --------------------

I'd agree with that!
Pleased with the win over Germany. But I think we shouldn't get too carried away with Capello and our recent form. International footballs very unpredicatble, and even though it may seem harsh, I won't be pleased until we've at least got into the World Cup semis. -------------------- |

i think england are on course for a good performance in the world cup with capello in control
but i think 2010 is the time for an african nation to make a name for themselves seeing as its in africa but i also think portugal and brazil are in a good position with good players and good football -------------------- WARM THESE EGGYS DIAMOND FC:2192 3752 4195 badges (click to show ) Frontier Symbols (click to show ) Battle Pass (click to show ) JOIN I CLAIM PIKACHU DRAGONITE AND TORTERRA |

Too early to tell I think. We on course for qualifying, I think even we can't mess it up from the position we've deservedly got ourselves into.
I don't follow the other groups very closely, but last time I check Portugal where doing pretty badly. Might be mistaken though, or maybe they've improved. I think will out Scolari they won't be such a force though. I was watching some of the South American qualifers a while back, and I agree that Brazil are looking good, even thoough they did draw with Boliva. They'll always be one of the favourites though, purely cause they've got so many awesome players and thier style of football is so amazing. -------------------- |

your right portugal are doing pretty badly with quieroz but
they have to much quality (attacking inparticular) to not qualify but brazil are alot stronger than portugal their 6-2 win over them proves that but there are 2 years left till the world cup so theres alot of time to improve on their form -------------------- WARM THESE EGGYS DIAMOND FC:2192 3752 4195 badges (click to show ) Frontier Symbols (click to show ) Battle Pass (click to show ) JOIN I CLAIM PIKACHU DRAGONITE AND TORTERRA |

Yeah, but look at England. We have plenty of quality, but didn't qualify for Euro 2008. With the wrong man in charge, even the best players can mess up bad. Don't quite know why they went for Querioz. He was a good assistant manager, but that doesn't mean he's a good manager. If memory serves me right, didn't he mess up badly with Real Madrid before comming to Man Utd?

your right but with a club you get to work all season long
and with national teams you work as a team once every few months so getting the players playing as a team the way you want is more difficult but as for england portugal have more attacking quality so therefore they should be scoring loads of goals and winning games but their last qualifying match was goaless -------------------- WARM THESE EGGYS DIAMOND FC:2192 3752 4195 badges (click to show ) Frontier Symbols (click to show ) Battle Pass (click to show ) JOIN I CLAIM PIKACHU DRAGONITE AND TORTERRA |
