facepalm.gif (Oh here comes the H-A-T-E...and yet, I won't regreat this.)

I can hear the jokes but at least read before you do this... laughing.gif

Smeargle, the Painter Pokemon. It only learns one attack and yet when it uses it, can never let what it gained from it go. One of the few pokemon that has a move that is of it's own! It's a bit of a godsent and yet...a curse for it has some low stats that probably put it on everyones "Joker" category. And yet... there's possible powers that could be used to help out whn the matter counts. And before you say it...Spore/Spider Web-Block-Mean Look/Sheer Cold can already be thrown out since many people say it is impossible with the stats it got. (I say it can be done though it won't be easy.)

Now I can hear the commentary...

/===================================\
|SCREW THAT POKEMON! IT'S LAME! LOL YOU FAIL| > yelling.gif
\_______________________________________________/

Seriously... I can tell some of you won't care or some will give me the Pidgey but I honestly think it's kind of like the itelligent kid that would get picked on a lot in the world of pokemon. It can do a very nice trick, but it's bullied over by mon that got more mass than it self and I wanted to at least give the mon a chance to become a star...even if only for a moment.

Thank you.

Where's the love?

I'm sorry to say, I never caught a Smeargle... never even came across it in the game! I voted no on using an all Smeargle because I prefer to use a varied team... I can't see taking up the whole party of any one pokemon. And for the last question on the poll, again I said "no" because I just doubt there would be enough people who would like a Pokemon that isn't featured much and is what most would call an "annoyer".

However, I have a special place in my heart for these (and other) outcast Pokemon love.gif

(BTW...I had that question because there could be different stats and attacks like a dragon or a water using mon.)

I understand what you mean...and thank you for hearing me out.

I've never actually caught a Smeargle. >_> They look pretty nice, and I'm sure they can be pretty useful, but I've just never gotten around to getting one.

Flippin Sweetness!

I absolutely love Smeargle. I love its design, its potential, everything! Smeargle learns Sketch every ten levels so you can always sketch new moves when its old ones get stale. I always catch one in my games and it always stays in my party. I just love it!

It makes me sad that not many others share the same compassion towards the little beagle artist. Just because it has lower stats and could be deemed 'worthless' if you don't Sketch a decent moveset doesn't mean you can bully it. ;A;

I am happy you see it like that. Ever since the GSC I seen the fun the pokemon can have. I mean Aeroblast a mon or give them Volt Tackle and watch them call out "WTF how did you get that move into someone so flipping small?!" and the fact the mon could be one of the few mon that could make a KO not only possible but CONSTENT! That alone would give the mon honors that would make a pokemon turn red in embrassment!

Thank you for hearing me out!

I love Smeargle too.
It's one awesome set-up sweeper in UU.

Smeargle is actually pretty darn fast.. it's speed isn't necessarily awful, just outclassed.
I personally love this move set, though it takes some real luck with Spore to work :

Spore
Agility
Belly Drum
Baton Pass

Or you could replace Belly Drum with Tail Glow for the special attackers.
I love the Mew-like diversity that Smeargle has.. it's a very flexible Pokemon.
Only suckish thing is that you pretty much have to ensure that you have a sleep inducing move on it, or Smeargle could easily be sidewalk slime. >_<

Probably but it makes me hope that smeargle will get some moonstone of respect. I mean the mon is fast so why not make it a better speeder or give it more than flemmy Attacks and wooden defenses? (I hope you understnd the gripe.)

I haven't actually caught a Smeargle. O_o Haven't even seen one in the games. I remember reading something about if you used Sketch when someone else used Surf, then you bred it with a Pikachu, you could get a Pikachu with Surf. I think that is cool. X3 Smeargles are awesome since they are Pokemon artists! 8D

Well I did find a bit of a drastic move for them... down the EVs all over including Speed.

@ (Focus Sash)
-Spore
-Trick Room
-Endevor
-Sucker Punch/Me First

Though I'd probbly get this... laughing.gif I was at least trying to have something different and have a change up from what many consider a set move. (I'm sorryfor feeling furious but I had ran into a total jerk that ruined a trial of an idea that I had for a pokemon fight on shoddy. I'm not posting it up here but I will say he was a total dick in the way he handled himself.)

An all Smeargle team sounds interesting, I may try it after I use the other two teams I have planned for SS. It shouldn't be too bad since it would only be in-game (my wifi doesn't work).

Back when G/S/C was first released, Smeargle was my 3rd fav pokemon. I still love it, but not as much.

I'm a fan of Smeargle and it's one of my favourites.

Like most, I never caught one. I will say that I got one from Colosseum and it had a red tail in that game for some reason.

Options 4 (Q1), 1 (Q2) and 1 (Q3).

I don't exactly use Smeargle yet, but I do want to make a team composed of Smeargle with Signature Moves (in Gen V), such as a Smeargle with Cross Thunder, Cross Flame, Techno Buster and Frozen World... the choices are endless. I do like Smeargle, because it has such a diverse movepool. It can learn practically every move there is.
