Name: Mike Tennis
Age: Seventeen
Hometown: Destrixa (Though live in Gigarte for a good part of his life)

Appearance: Standing Six foot, once inches, Mike has oak bark brown hair and brown eyes. His skin is the average tone, a darkened creme for being out in the sun often. He wears a white t-shirt with a grass green vest on top that has denim straps fastened to it. The pants he wears are slightly baggy jeans, held up by a black thick clothed belt; while his shoes are white sneakers with dark violet soles. Some times he's seen wearing army green gloves, though most of the time he's overall glove-less.


Personality: Mike tends to be lay back about many things, but when he get's his mind set, he's determined like several other trainers his age, likely. He cares deeply for his partner pokemon, and other trainers that he has battled. (Given they give him a fair battle.) He has a tendency to avoid small risks but take large ones without even noticing there's a risk involved.

Stress isn't the best possible thing for Mike. He can overreact to a losing battle, or be a little 'too supportive' to his pokemon. In most dangerous situations, Mike should be able to get out of them without being too badly faltered.

Exploration is one thing he can not get out of his mind. Even running around the several districts that make up his home town excites him. If it's not a battle, then it's exploring. When it's not either of those, it's interacting with his pokemon. Like almost any trainer, Mike loves to talk and doing things with his pokemon, be it exploring, battling, or just getting a small task dealt with.

Mike, however, isn't a fan of trainers that collect endless amounts of pokemon, he thinks of it as quality over quanity. He's not not a very big fan of using public transportation such as cars. (Even if he had a truck...)

Biography: For most of Mike's life, he has helped his family do food shipments between Destrixa and Gilgarte. He had been wanting to be a trainer for many years, but never had gotten a pokemon till he was sixteen. Before he had encountered his first pokemon, Mike had been entranced by the idea of owning one. Any time between the ages of ten and sixteen when he was not busy helping his folks, he was out in the modern cobblestone district watching trainers pass by, or possible battles that had sparked in the or around the area.

When he was near the end of his sixteenth year, he decided to empty out one of the old trucks out in the nearby scrapyard outside of the town, where he found a small mankey nest. The nest itself appeared to have been abandoned except for an egg and a mankey that had yet to reach maturity. Mike had gotten into a tussle, trying to remove the next and take the egg to a nearby lab, how ever the mankey itself decided to stay. Mike of course did not refuse, and thought of it as an early birthday gift; his birth was coming up only a month later.

Two weeks after his birthday, Mike had encountered a hoothoot near the entrance to Gilgarte. He had been hesitant to try and capture any new pokemon, and also lacked pokeballs. He used one of the appricorn balls that had been in the current shipment to capture the hoothoot and thus, add a new member to his team.

A week later he had gotten permission from his parents to become a fledged trainer, and they had bought him a poketch. He bought himself a few other items for his journey.

(I'm sorry if my grammar isn't top notch, I know it's lacking cleanliness, but I'm getting better. It tends to drop slightly when I'm using a computer and not writing by hand.)

This is a good start. I would suggest you beef up his personality. Some suggestions: If there’s a dangerous situation, how does he react? What interests your character? What does he dislike?

Go through the grammar again, there are a few mistakes, but it is readable.

This should be approved with no other problems .
