well in terms of the actual game. A properly trained Deox-A would destroy the other 3.

Like Etnie said, it depends what your talking about. In competitive battling terms, I agree that there's not much that can really stop a well trained Attack Forme Deoxys.
But in terms of the whole backstory to things, then it would no doubt be Arcues, for obvious reasons. In either case it wouldn't be Darkrai though. Yes, Dark Void+his ability is a nice combo, but his stats are just too low to effectivly compete with the other 3. And he's never seemed overlly powerful in the other media to me. Certainly not as powerful as Arcues. --------------------  |

Going on most favourite legendary alone, I'd say Darkrai would win. It could put the other three asleep and then slowly hack away at their health with Bad Dreams.

From an in-world standpoint, not viewing it from the concept of movesets and stats, I'd say Mewtwo or Arceus. Mewtwo has the psychic ability going for it - Darkrai focuses primarily on hypnosis, it seems... with psychic prowess like Mewtwo's, Darkrai probably wouldn't be able to get a tight enough hold on Mewtwo's mind.
Arceus, however, is a GOD. I would think that it would be able to change its type at will and become a Dark-type, thus easily crushing Mewtwo. Psychic powers or not... Arceus has uber Godmode-hax  ... But when it comes to movesets and stats, I'd probably say Mewtwo. He was nigh-unstoppable in Gen I. Everyone had one, and some people put a Jolteon with Pin Missile or a Parasect specifically to counter Mewtwo. Arceus is the creator, and arceus is the best, escpecially if you let it hold ghost plate, so it becomes ghost type, and when its moves are judgement, surf, and two others.

I've got to think Darkrai would take the cake here. I don't plan to go into the game details but it's really quite simple.
Deoxys, unless in its defense form, would be powerless against Darkrai. Mewtwo would have the same trouble, since they are both of the Psychic type and Darkrai could level them with the combination of Dark Void and Dark Pulse. It truly wouldn't take much. However, Arceus is a bit more dangerous for Darkrai being the normal type unless equipped with a plate. If Arceus has the plate to turn it Ghost or Dark type, Darkrai will REALLY have a problem. But all and all, I think Darkrai could hold its own against the God of all Pokemon. (Unless you believe Mew is the God of all Pokemon like I do. :]) |

As much as I like Mewtwo [ I'm not saying I don't like them all! I do. ] I have to say Arceus. Yeah, Darkrai could put them all to sleep, but can't Arceus change its type so the move doesn't effect it; I could be wrong. Also, Arceus is said to be the creator of the universe, so...
