As for the new Animal Crossing game, it seems interesting but I have no intention of buying a Switch for only 2 games; I feel like that'd just be a waste since not many video games as a general hold my interest. It's nice that there's new types of animals. I feel you. Luckily, my PC can do Switch emulation so I can try some games on PC without having to splurge on the Switch. I have played Let's Go already and I plan to play SWSH soon and Animal Crossing when it's out! Oh, that's really cool! And that's a really smart idea. I haven't looked into emulation really [beyond that one time I downloaded Platinum on a spare laptop of my dad's which ended up getting bricked later down the line], but I've been considering it for a few 3DS rom hacks that I know of. How was LGPE, gameplay-wise? Emulation is really easy to do overall but you do need a fairly powerful PC to do it for newer games with modern graphics like Let's Go and SWSH. I have emulated 3ds/nds games on PC before and that can run on practically anything. LGPE is pretty good as a game, it's not as engaging as the older PKMN games I've played. I enjoy the catching mechanisms and how pokemon actually appear in the wild. It runs fairly good on my PC but my PC specs are i9-9900k, RTX 2080 with 32 GB RAM so its hard to say if it'll run on other PCs with lesser specs. Has anyone noticed that the Christmas explorations still seem to be active? I haven't actually attempted to start them, but they are still listed in their respective locations, and NOT back under the Inactive tab.

I just went and saw that you're right, they are. I might vie for the Secret one if it is still showing when I have a free spot. I didn't get a chance to do that one earlier so... heh... what would I loose? A few points? I'll give it a whirl if I have that chance later. -------------------- |

Nice. 👍 I'm not sure about my current PC's specs, but I know it can sort of run the Batman Arkham games. Might be able to handle some newer 3DS title emulation, I'll have to test that out at some point. I know this one works a lot better than my old laptop, in any case. And yeah, from what I've seen of people playing it on YouTube, the "Pokemon appearing in the wild" thing just looks like a lovely little quality of life mechanic. Catching mechanism must suck for the people out there who want to play the game but can't necessarily move their arms well, though. -------------------- |

Not sure if anyone else voted yet, but I was thinking spring with my SWSH picks! Deerling spring, Maractus, and Gossifleur. Thinking of flowers and warmer weather!
Anyone else's picks? -------------------- |

Well that's strange When I saw your post I submitted my picks, checked again just now and the sign up is gone lolwut March thread said that the SWSH for this month was supposed to be a staff-picked one. So, the voting was closed. {Not that I even knew the voting was open, but that's beside the point. As I wouldn't have voted anyway.} -------------------- |

As long as I can get a shard somehow I'm not super picky. Still got ungodly amounts of that to hunt for.

Hm I only need 2 earth shards, 4 fist ones, 1 mind, and 3 sky, so in total 10 more
Could've had them all done by now if I wouldn't pick hunts based on what I like instead of going with what shards I don't have yet -------------------- |

I need ONE more shard to complete my collection: An Iron one. After I get that one, I'll "be able" to do the other Arceii missions. And, yes, I know I can actually do the mission now, but after I did my first one, I told myself I wouldn't do another one until I had all the Plates formed.

Well got another shard down today but not the one I was hoping for ah well. Can't wait to see the hunt mons. As long as it's not fire or electric atm. Who knows what else I'll hatch in the meantime haha.
If I get a new shard for the day I just hunt other things that I want. Otherwise 1st priority are shards. Trying to finish dragon first cause it's a pain in my butt. This post has been edited by Natsume Reiko: Mar 4 2020, 11:40 AM -------------------- |

Yeah. Dragon was a bit difficult. When I did it, most of them were the 10K eggs. But you can also attempt the Dragon Poke Hunts, and as long as you take first, you'd get one that way.

Tried last week but couldn't hatch anything with IVs over 100. Lmao. I seem to have better shiny chances than with IVs. But this last shard is a total slog haha. -------------------- |

I finally got around to preordering Animal Crossing :P Was waiting for stores to run out of their bonuses (cause as usual we got leftover stock they can't get rid of any other way)
I don't remember how I got my dragon plate. I do remember hatching quite a few of those Zygarde things though idk if they hatched with any shards. This post has been edited by Luneon: Mar 8 2020, 03:33 PM -------------------- |

Hm can't tell if the swsh is trying to convey a message or if it's just the usual celebratory thing
Went with wurmple cause I don't have a sh dustox yet. It looks really nice. This post has been edited by Luneon: Mar 13 2020, 10:27 AM -------------------- |

Went with wurmple because nobody clicks on the site anymore and even hatching 5k maturity eggs is painful.

I'm still trying to finish two past SWSHs, so I'm not joining this month's.
