Hey everyone!

Recently I have attacked spriting and have decided that it would really be a good idea for active members to have a sprite that sits in their signature so players can get an immediate view of their character and pokemon. Below are some examples that I have made.

I encourage people to make their own or request one from a sprite shop on the forum as they are extremely worthwhile.

I have already done that XD I just got trainer and Pokemon separate so one links to profile and the other to levels.

Thanks again 2gamer for the trainer (and the pokemon group image thingy on this site)

If I knew how to remove backgrounds, i may put them together...

And yet, another great idea by the mods!

I've been spriting for a couple of years now and the ones on my sig were made personally by me. I don't mind taking requests as I get bored way too often (seriously, I need something to do). I also specialize in Trainer Card making, even reaching the judging spot in a competition on another forum so I don't mind that too.

I've recently started on trainers but it seems like I'm not that bad as I thought! If anyone wants to comment go ahead!

I have also dabbled in sprites. A sample of my work is the current sprite Tuesday (Puck) is using. However, if a request comes my way, it may not be done in the timeliest of manners.

I just threw up this sprite for a new NPC for Team Rogue's future adventures. Her name is Lyla Moore and despite her prissy looks, she's an aspiring Pokemon Breeder.

I know I'm a bit late on this, but I can sprite as well. I made the trainer sprite in my signature along with quite a few more sprites that will, for the time being, remain banished to the depths of my Pokemon/Spriting folder lest I go OCD on the older pictures.


I guess that, if I ever get any free time, I could start making sprites for the less MS-Paint inclined out there.


Also, here's a fun site that can help greatly with transparency problems: http://iaza.com/. Simply upload a sprite (make the parts you want gone a different colour from any used in the sprite), hit 'Make Transparent', and ta-da! Instant invisibility.

I love how I've looked at this thread a million times and never posted Castor sprite.



It's actually one of my favorite sprites I made and I think it fits him pretty well.

I did a minor edit of it recently to give him some newer stuff, but I'll probably wait a little till I can introduce said stuff in a roleplay to release the sprite itself.

As for the pokemon sizes, I really just guessed. I took all of the individual sprites and sized them together in photoshop. I figured that since my sprite itself was lame, I may as well make a bit of an effort with the pokemon. ^^;

This is Beat's mother, Melissa, and her Pokemon. I haven't found a suitably terrified-looking male sprite for his father yet.

well, I'm not saying I know much about Trainer Sprites, but, I do make them, including scratched hair and clothes and even what I dubbed 'morph' bases, cause I mix bases to make new ones I'll just throw up some random examples of my older ones.

Hm...I have a bit of a difficult request. The reference to my trainer, and current two poke'mon are in my sig, but seeing as I -love- seeing different interpretations of my characters, I would like to extend a plea to anyone who wants to attempt my trainer, or current poke'mon.

I'll wait to post nit-picky details until someone can/wants to take my request. I'm good at details. xD

I went a different way than Douken did. Changing clothes on a specific sprite is not easy for me, so I looked for one with a similar pose but the clothes you might have wanted. At the risk of superceding Douken (in truth, I'm bored and needed something to do...) I give you this:

Its cool with me since i had nothing done. i mean, i tend to try to match the outfit with the sprite myself, and asking for one base with a completely different set was just WAY too confusing. I don't care about the poses XD

Still having trouble with the image. When I put in where the image is located on my computer it tells me, Sorry, dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed. What am I doing wrong?

what are you doing? saving the image using the computer and using that location or using the URL that MH used (which you can get my checking image properties, or just quoting his post for the full code)

Hey Lapras177,

Check out Lilly's Profile. I've put the image in there for you - all you need to do is hit the edit (full edit) button and copy the code for the image (the entire code) at the top of the text box. That should work in your signature.

Could someone do Courtney Watterson in her" simple tee with orange sleeves and a pair of normal blue jeans....black sneakers with white socks going up to her ankles...black, fingerless leather gloves... 3 Pokeballs is attached to her jeans" outfit (just copied and pasted things here. :P for a trainer sprite.

Oh, and a VS sprite/ mugshot (Not too thin, not too fat, with a light tan... Not a scratch or a pimple in sight...birthmark that looks faintly like a heart on the back of her neck (if you can even see it in the sprite)... very short, light brown hair...long bangs that cover her forehead and her hair goes over her ears but not beyond her neck....its messy and layered.... big and green eyes... no makeup).

I really can't do the vs. sprite, since the ones I have done are modifications of existing character vs. sprites, all cobbled together or simply recolored. However, since normal sprites are pretty much easier to cobble together (there's a LOT more material to work with...) I managed this:

Right, I give in. One of you amazing people want to do one of the mugshot sprites for Casper? He's in Uprising, mind, but pretty simple, and I figure it's probably easier to find someone to do sprites here, where a thread is already started.

"Agent Ghost has pale skin and lime green eyes. Hair is light - bleach-blonde - and reaches to his shoulders. Agent Ghost often wears his hair falling into his face. Occasionally pulls it back at the nape of his neck. Agent Ghost wears a thin silver necklace chain with no pendant, and a diamond earring inlaid in silver in his right ear. His left ear is not pierced... Agent Ghost has a brown corduroy jacket over a red-sleeved, collared shirt. Agent Ghost also wears a black neckercheif around his neck, tied under the collar of his red shirt.

Agent Ghost's pants, shirt, and jacket all have a black cloth band sewn a half an inch from the end of the sleeve/leg."

Here is my attempt. I couldn't get exact to the profile: The tank is much tighter, and he's wearing shoes, mostly because I can't do bare feet Maybe someone can use this as a basis for a more accurate sprite.
