The purpose of the GTS is to find RPs if none at the moment suit your fancy. You can offer your character up, or advertise your thread and see if people are willing to join. Just a useful tool so that we won't have a flood of "I NEED AN RP" threads.

Spamm just worded it slightly badly (no offense).
The idea is, one posts here when they want to find an RP. It's entirely OOC, so a sample post would be like:
"Matt needs an RP! He's around the area of Petropolis, so does anyone want to take on their gym?"
"Hey guys, The Chill of the Wind is still looking for another RP'er!"

I was pointed in this direction I think, but sizing up the profiles I don't imagine things'd be all that exciting. Two reserved shyguys doesn't exactly promise dynamic scenes and dialogue

Ok then, what would you like to do? The Fidona Island thing was just an idea. I thought it might attract some people since there haven't been any RPs there. We're both in Barley so we could do something right there.

The red-headed tomboy loves battling and despises coordinating. She suffered a harsh defeat in Petropolis, on her way to Barley two young trainers managed to rekindle her battling spirit.
Now Charlie's looking for somebody to role-play with in Barley before heading to Fidona in search of her dad. Maybe she could find a new rival, or some romance along the way. PK, since we have role-played together many times before, I'd be happy to do this again ^^

Ugh.
To be honest, I'm not surprised he hasn't posted. Looks like he made an effort to start an rp and your reply was somewhat... lackluster. Either that or he just forgot about the whole thing - these things happen. You can always apply to any of the newer rps and see if they will take a new player? (tip: Lenoilia Ruins won't)
Also, Stealth Rock hasn't started an rp yet but she seemed ready for one not long ago - try pming her. Just remember: it's the holiday season so there won't be very much activity for a week or two.

Just thought I'd drop in and see if any RPs are looking for people right now since Kuri got approved.
I know Blue's seems open but after checking the desc it wouldn't be the most ideal one given the positioning, though if all the others are currently full I'm sure I can find a good reason for her to join in.

I do not think he disappeared... but is only slightly confused. If you check in the normal RP board of GTS+,, you can find Prospecting for pokemon! there. I think he forgot to post the topic in the pANE specific forum, but I don't know :/

As much as I'd like for the RP to get going I wouldn't count not being on for three days as a disappearance. Best thing to do is give it a few more days then if he doesn't come back we can probably set something up with the rest of us that signed up for it.

I'll do you one better, for I actually have an idea for an RP in Fidona. http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=10334 is going to be on her first assignment in Furoh: explore the Fidona forest and record fauna in the area. I'm thinking we'd start in town, then head to the forest (a setup similar to Viridian forest), possibly followed by an interesting dungeon crawl.
What do you guys think? Also, if you have suggestions for an RP name, that would be great

Well, Ciro here was just accepted, and I'm certainly open for a thread! =3 To give a bit of background, he's a sort of "refugee" from Harlimton, Orre [a fan-city], where he ran away from to prevent getting drafted into the army. Because of his history with things related to battle, he prefers to follow a more coordinator-oriented line and hopes to specialize in grass and steel types. However, there are still some aspects of training he's really not familiar with seeing Orre is Pokemon-deprived by nature.
He's albino, and mute, and prefers sign language, though he carries around a black notebook and pen seeing not everyone understands sign language. Also, most likely, he's probably going to ask for someone to read his Pokemon's names to them seeing he was never able to vocalize his choices xD
Anyways! Yeah! =3 Feel free to pm with suggestions or whatever~ It may not look like many things will be very action-packed with a character with no dialogue, but you never known unless you try~ =3

His water pokemon is willing to swim the short distance to Barley. It would be tough, but Koryu is ready to get moving and Barley is the closest city compared to his location.
Will he have someone to meet at his next destination?

She'd love to meet up with some other trainers around her age in Arasam, and maybe explore the city a bit before moving on. It would be especially helpful to meet up with a native to show her around.
After she gets settled in, DC is especially interested in visiting Fidona, so traveling to Barley would be the next step if she were to travel there. But really she's up for traveling anywhere that she can catch some new Pokemon.
So if your character is near or in Arasam, send me a PM and maybe we can start a RP together. ;3

Just puttin it out there, Mack is a twelve-year-old would-be gym challenger (or just an aimless wanderer? time will tell). He's setting out from Barley, and probably will not have gotten far from there.
So if anyone has an RP currently set in or near Barley with a space open, contact me! In the meantime I'll be looking for an opening to get started.

I have an rp about a boy named chris who is going on an adventure to fidona and explore the jungle and he finds team deception memebers in runis very deep in the jungle where a relic of celebi is and they attempt to capture the celebi but they fail to even make it appaer thanks to my crew.

Uh, canni, that sounds like a job for a Team higher than 50, which needs mod approval, and I doubt that a starting team wouldn't be able to take care of them... I also think you need approval to even encounter a legendary...

Celebi not even going to appear they just see a shrine of it. Plus there will be other people in the rpg along with wild pokemon helping too against team decepton. Plus there is only 10 members of team deception going there because they were just going to scout out the jungle and try to find the ruins.
edit:
these are lower members tring to just look for the ruins so they could contact the upper ones that the place is real. There not actully going to try and get celebi. As they don't have enough skills yet to capture it.

What happened: The group meet at the Pokemon Center and headed for a restaurant. I caught a Tyrogue and Dragonwish2 got a Growlithe and we're now in a battle against 3 Grimers and a Muk who somehow snuck inside the food storage. The Muk is being dealt with by an NPC and we're taking care of the Grimers (there's 1 left so this might be a good time to join in) and that's about it.

With Douken's failure at the Gigarte Gym and more cases of dizzying head rushes, Douken plants to head north to Fidona. However, before that is a doctor visit to try and figure out what is happening. After that, the events are unknown. So while I do plan for Aridana, it simply has to be north of Gigarte while not yet Fidona. West is fine too.

I'll make the thread. I have no idea what this RP is about, though, so I don't really have a name ( unless you want to keep the the ridiculously long temporary one). I figure a discussion thread would be the best spot to figure this out, instead of wasting space here.

Does this roleplay still go on/is it supported? A lot of the threads look dated, but I love RP and such so I'd hate to see it dead.
