Hi there, I'm Shelby!
I've actually been on this site for a little more than seven years now, but I've never really bothered to use the forums til now (which may have been for the best--middle school/early high school me was a prick). Now I actually feel like socializing, so here I am! I'm not really good at talking about myself, but I'll give it a shot. I'm a college student who lives in Southern California and who enjoys playing video games when I have the time. I've loved pokemon for pretty much my entire life--I'm pretty sure the anime was what introduced me to pokemon, but I didn't start playing until Emerald came out. Hoenn will probably always be my favorite region, but I also really like Kanto and Unova. It took me years to figure out what my favorite pokemon is and, unsurprisingly, it's a gen 3 pokemon--Banette! I like playing RPGs, but I haven't actually played that many. I'm trying to get into more series, so I'd really appreciate any recommendations! Despite being on GPX+ for over seven years, I haven't really done much of anything. Right now I'm mainly working on completing the pokedex (still getting through Kanto...) and getting all the badges (currently in the middle of Johto). I'm also working on collecting all non-Very Rare pokemon (not just fully evolved pokemon) and getting them all to level 100 (this is why I'm still getting through Kanto!). I'm not sure why I want to do this, but I am. I'd love to hear what some other people's goals on GPX+ are (both short-term and long-term)! ...and that's about all I can think of to say right now. I'd love to chat, and hopefully I'll be more active around the forums now! -------------------- |

Hullo, Shelby!
Nice to see more people on the Forums! My goals on GPX are my Group goals and to recruit more people for them. I have two banners in my signature about my GPX+ Groups if you'd like to check em out. -------------------- Avatar by Cycloneblaze at Cycloneshop II Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/eevee64 Banner by http://gpx.plus/user/Baymax |

Hey there~ I was a brat in middle and high school too, so don't worry about it. I imagine a lot of people were, honestly.
I'm an RPG nut, so I can recommend a few: Xenoblade (please, please play Xenoblade, it's literally my favorite game series ever) Xenosaga Persona NieR EXA_PICO (these games seem to be love-or-hate for most people; even I'll admit they have a lot of flaws) OFF Stella Glow (haven't played it yet, but my friends who have keep raving about how great it is, and I trust them) My current GPX+ goals are to have a living novelty dex, get all shiny megas except the Very Rares, get shinies to represent every party member in Xenoblade X, and push my total rank above 100. -------------------- |

Whoa, a fellow Southern Californian! Nice! (I seem to find them on forums easily for some reason, I'm surprised).
Curious, have you played any of the mystery dungeon series? If you haven't, I definitely recommend those (and they have the good ol' dungeon rpg theme to them and all. Stories are nice too). Specifically Explorers of Darkness/Time or Sky. I suppose Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon is pretty nice too, but personally I find the story of Darkness/Time/Sky a lot better (Sky is basically Darkness/Time but with some additional plot so it's like a semi-sequel) I don't really have too many solid or specific goals here yet but I am very curious about that Arceus exploration. -------------------- |
