The Sun/Moon demo just came out so why not talk about it? You can unmark your spoilers in here because anyone who comes in should be well aware of what they're walking into. I personally haven't played it yet - I'll give it a whirl tomorrow since I gotta focus on another game I'm excited for (FFXV, I'll be watching Brotherhood).

Post thoughts. Impressions. Excitement going forward. Favorite music tracks. Anything you got out of the demo!

It was definitely better than ORAS' demo that is for sure. happy.gif

And I'm genuinely excited to see Team Skull after getting a glimpse of them in the demo. I think they might become my favorite team. Not to mention their theme is awesome.

Yeah I really like the whole hiphop theme going on with them. They still seem to suffer from ORAS and XY's writing issues - which is that it was way too whimsical, especially since XY's team was full of Nihilists - but the aesthetic is nice.

The entire game has absolutely amazing aesthetics by the way, it's so many steps above XY it's amazing.

I'm very excited!
I can't wait for the games to come out.
I like how there are some characters that count down days for a little event in the demo, makes the waiting easier.

I also like Team Skull, the theme and how they move amuse me so much.
Love riding around on Tauros, too.

Hi.

I like the Sun/Moon demo. I've been playing every day to keep track of when the events are.

It's probably an odd thing to stick out to someone, but I really liked some of the graphics. I don't just mean the overall graphics. I mean how some buildings had fire extinguishers, coffee machines, and other objects that've never been seen in a Pokemon game before to my memory.

I tried a few times and it seems like we can't sit on benches or chairs anymore, which is odd that they removed it but it doesn't really matter to me. We still do bend down to talk to little kids, though.

I think I enjoy it more than the ORAS demo for the specific instead of random events. It was really fun seeing all the characters in the ORAS demo (I especially liked the interaction with the Pokemart brothers), but the missions after the initial one got repetitive after a while. Whereas SM's events are pre-set and offer a reason to keep checking back regularly.

You also bend down to talk to Pokemon, which is pretty cool.

I think it's a little disappointing that aside from Ash-Greninja, the only things we can send to the game give us money. A Balm mushroom for Pikachu's birthday today.

Yeah, I'm actually disappointed with the length; I swear ORAS was way longer. I finished everything in like 30 minutes. Ultimately, the gimmicks of sending stuff to the game are nice.

Which game are you guys picking up?

Sun is going to be my gain. Though I'm certain that there's likely clashes in a different fandom if they are getting Pokemon Sun / Pokemon Moon.
