[Toogee]

The Runway:
This is where visitors can hold contests. It consists of a long runway with audience seating on each side. The back does contain a dressing area with a collection of costumes and other items, as well as butlers/maids for assistance.
Think of it as a fashion show layout. The runway is made of finished oak wood, while a black curtain blocks the back area. The back area has numerous stations and dressing rooms to serve whoever is competing. Other than that, the rest of the description is up to those attending.

Rules

This is where the contest will be held. I have no idea how to run one of these, so this is likely to change. For more details, go here.

First, contestants would register on a computer in the room. This process includes determining which of the three will be in the appeal and battle rounds and contest type (cool, tough, etc).

Appeal round: This is where you try to impress the judges with your choice of routine. Whoever impresses the judges the most gets to move on to the Battle round.

Battle Round: A doubles match consisting of coordinated attacks. This will likely be between player coordinators (as opposed to a mod-controlled judge). Teamwork is key and good combos will impress the judges greatly. A winner is determined either by knockout or who impressed judges the most at the end of the timed round (10 posts per coordinator).

This thread will be run out of time, so you may post in both (and your team thread as well). The room can be accessed through revolving doors found almost anywhere in the castle. I'll leave it up to you guys to determine your entrance.

This is open to all (though you'll need three pokemon to enter a contest). You may also sit in the audience and watch.

It happened so suddenly.

Pan was leaning against a wall in the hall. Next thing she knew, the wall swallowed her up, putting her into another room entirely. The lighting was very dim at the edges of the room; most of it focused on a giant runway Pan recognized from fashion show commercials. The finished oak stage was surrounded by black folding chairs, each cushioned on the seat and backrest for the comfort of the audience. The rest of the room was hidden behind a thick black curtain, though one could hear a busy staff getting ready for more guests.

As Pan looked around the room, Chi-Chi jumped out of her vest and scurried onto the stage. She wrapped her tail like a scarf and walked up and down the runway; the pachirisu seemed to like showing off. It wasn’t long before Pan realized that this was a contest room, where trainers could show off their skills. While Chi-Chi seemed excited, Pan wasn’t so sure about participating. Though she had an appeal performance in her mind, she only just thought it up; they would have to wing it. From what she heard, coordinators dress their best for such events. She still reeked of the simulated sea back in the aquarium. Her hair was a salty mess. Darryn would have a laugh if he heard what she was up to.

Then again, it was all just for fun, right?
