The wi-fi battles are kinda fun. I kept getting a little pissed though against this one guy because the game went really fast and smooth when I played as Link but when I was the Phantoms, it kept going sooo slow and would just like freeze then the next second it's a couple seconds ahead already.
I'm curious about the Spirit Gems too. I got 19 Power, 14 Courage, and 15 Wisdom. How different are they when you get 20 of each and they're at level 2? The Power one bored me because it gave you a flame sword but you couldn't actually burn anything with it. The only one I found a good use for was Courage because of it shooting things from the sword. And what's the New Hero's Clothes or whatever for? -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? Check out my website: randimg!

The hero's new clothes are part of a trading sequence... obviously you never played Wind Waker. You need to complete the game twice before you can use them to trade with a character for something else. As for the spirit gems, find them, and you'll see.

... obviously you never played Wind Waker. nick: only zelda I've ever played was a link to the past :-) Ramsden: ... Ramsden: Are you being serious? nick: yes nick: I only have a snes nick: and handhelds nick: and a dreamcast and xbox, but that's not nintendo Damn you, tell me what the crystals do! I don't know where to find the rest, and I'm way too lazy to run through every castle again and such to get them. I only need one more power to see if there's any difference between level 1 and 2 though. -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? Check out my website: randimg!

If you can't be bothered to go look for them anyway, what difference does it make what they do?

Somewhere in the world a cat just died. So I'm going to let you stay curious, as I hate those little furry bastards.

Somewhere in the world a cat just died. So I'm going to let you stay curious, as I hate those little furry bastards. Second'd. EDIT: I believe I'll get this game today. EDIT2: I've gotten the game, and beat it. Also: The hero's new clothes are part of a trading sequence... obviously you never played Wind Waker. You need to complete the game twice before you can use them to trade with a character for something else. As for the spirit gems, find them, and you'll see. I'd like to correct you on that, as I beat it ONCE (probably don't even have to beat it) and got the Scroll Anyway. Also, the ending was weird: ZOMG ENDING SPOILERS: Click Here To Show/Hide This Text

I got it and beat it within a couple of days. It's pretty fun. It's the only DS game my girlfriend has and she plays it all of the time .
The game sort of reminded me of links awakening. Especially at the end. -------------------- I claim Scizor also don't pm me and ask me to trade if you don't have anything in mind. |

What I don't get... how often do we see a direct continuity sequel in Zelda? Majora's Mask following on from Ocarina of Time is the only one I can think of. Now, Wind Waker has been accused of almost killing the entire franchise (because gamers are mostly fickle immature bastards who were put off by the incredibly good-looking but unrealistic and cartoony cell-shading)... and yet, Phantom Hourglass is a direct continuity sequel of it. What the fucking fuck? If even Nintendo say that Wind Waker almost killed the entire Zelda game series, and they have said that many times whilst making a fuss over Twilight Princess (which in my opinion isn't as good as Wind Waker), why the hell did they think "I know! Let's do it again, only on a less powerful machine where the cell-shading actually does look a bit iffy. AND we'll nerf the sailing mechanics, which was the only unique aspect!"? It's a great game... but I don't honestly understand why it was made. Especially as it's the first proper Zelda game on the DS. In itself incredible, as it's taken three years for a Zelda game to hit the DS. Because Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupee Monkeynuttery doesn't really count. I agree, Wind Waker was better then Twillight Princess. And as for Phantom Hourglass, I got incredibly addicted when I got it as a gift on vacation, but then, i got pretty far, then found out that I had missed the special boat sale, and just... gave up 'cause I really wanted to get everything in the game. XD As for the looks of Windwaker, I think their adorable. Just because their cartoony doesn't make them bad. And I really wanna get Majora's Mask...... I beat Ocarina of Time finally, a few months ago (had gotten stock in the Water Temple), and now I wanna play the sequeal, but all I hear of are old catridges that don't work.... and I can't find a Gamecube version. :| -------------------- |Pearl ~ 2277-5074-2140 ~ Lots of Dex Entries| Team/Torterra/Staraptor/Gengar/Manetric/Garchomp/Gastrodon |White ~ 4298-2640-8630| Team/Emboar/Unfezant/Scolipede/Zebstrika/Audino/Whisicott |
