You heard right. These are the Gen 5 shiny sprites, along with the previous generation ones used for black and white BEAR IN MIND THAT SOME SPRITES FROM DIAMOND/PEARL/PLATINUM etc. were either re used or got a new sprite. I like shiny Zorua(yay, he's got blue markings like I wanted!), but I was hoping for a lighter color for his main. But he's still cool. I don't think I care for many of the others' shiny colors, though. But Reshiram's looks awesome. Love the gold on him.

@cyrus Come to think of it, you're right. However, after going on Serebii and looking at numerous OBSCURE sprites i've noticed that some of these were just reused. No one probably bothered to notice seeing that ythey weren't as used as much as a RAYQUAZA. Am I the ONLY ONE that noticed SHINY ONONOKUSU?! That thing looks awesome! As well as the centipede. And Mamepoto's final evo. Dark/Steel robot is awesome, too.
