Appearance: Steel blue eyes peer out from Adrian’s messy brown hair, which is cut enough so his ears poke out the sides. He wears simple clothing, a tan long sleeved shirt with a brown hood, and a pair of goggles hanging from his neck. He is quite pale, almost sickly, which corresponds with his slim appearance in contrast with his fairly tall height. He has few other accessories, though he does have an armband with some faded words on it. He doesn’t wear shoes, either.

Personality: Adrian is quiet. He keeps his head down, and doesn’t ask for trouble. Don’t be fooled by this, though, as Adrian is really something of a jerk. When in conversation, he often makes snide comments with little thought or care of another’s feelings, and won’t even think if his words are like venom to another. He is respectful to his elders, to a fault, and often ignores anyone he deems dumb, and has little patience for children. He usually prefers a Pokemon to a human anytime.

Biography: Adrian was an only child. At least, he thinks, he doesn’t really know. What he does know is he was born in Viridian Forest, which he feels has made him a little more in touch with nature than most. Soon after his birth, he was left a local orphanage, which was thankfully small. For those there, though, the bratty Adrian was more than they could usually handle, especially when he would sneak out and spend the night in the woods. At around 8, he became something of a thief, stealing minor things now and then just to see if he could. He also came to know a Nidorino and his mate that lived around the woods. Despite warnings that they were dangerous, Adrian often spent time and played with the poisonous pokemon. Though he got sick as a result often, it also began to build his immunity to the point he was no longer affected by their spines.

After a few years, though, Adrian heard rumors of poachers in the forest. He was more cautious about his visits, and often kept an eye out for them. One fateful night, though, he came face to face with them as they killed a Pidgeotto. A chase was given, until Adrian’s friends, the Nidorino and Nidorina came to his aid. While they managed to injure the attackers and force them to retreat, Nidorino was mortally wounded, much to the dismay of Tanos and the female. It didn’t take long for Nidorina to succumb to her grief, eventually dying as a result, but not before a pair of eggs were laid. Adrian took the responsibility to raise the resulting Pokemon, a male and female Nidoran. By now, Adrian had forsaken most human contact, though he was employed by a local Pokemon Ranger to patrol the forest. With his help, Viridian Forest became peaceful again.

Approaching 19, the Ranger said that he has a friend in a region called Furoh, and he would like Adrian to go work for him there. Adrian initially refused, not wanting to leave his home that he had worked so hard to protect. However, upon hearing that area’s in Furoh are hurt by pollution, and other things hurting nature, Adrian promptly reconsidered. Setting off with his two loyal Nidoran’s, Adrian went with two goals, to see what he could do, if anything, about the polluted town of Lenoilia. The other was a growing yearning to fight. While he only battled in the past for self-defense, he was more and more becoming intrigued by battle, and wished to face those they called Gym Leaders in the area.

Other Notes: Because of his contact with Nidorino and Nidorina near the beginning of his life, he has gained immunity to all but the worst of toxins.

He is also one of many paradoxes. He fights pollution and intrusion of nature wherever possible when in fact he owns poison pokemon*though, he considers them to be natural, as opposed to Grimer* and he is quite fond of many foods and drinks made by man, Pizza and Soda being among them.
