Turning animations off in-game doesn't affect Wi-Fi battles. Wi-Fi will always show animations.

You get a certain amount of BP based on how well you do in battles, and you can use BP to trade in for rewards. I don't think we've had a single person with enough BP to trade though. -------------------- |

If possible, can you get Pokemon Online? Not only is it much less outdated, it looks a ton better, has double battles, and just overall completely eclipses Shoddy Battle in terms of reliability. Shoddy Battle lags a lot for me and I can't use it anymore.
