This group is simply a small place to discuss your current trinket collection and to trade if you like
By taking part of this group, you shout to the world, "Hey! I'm a Gpxplus player that loves collecting trinkets!"
You are here to meet other trinket lovers, and try and build your own collection by trading with them

Rules
-(Obviously) Follow all forum rules.
-Don't state your affinity is better than another (ie. Malachite is better than wulfenite!)
-Do not brag about your collection in excess. (ie. My collection is so good!)
-To clarify, making a simple statement of obtaining such and such trinket is acceptable. (ie. I just got the time gear trinket!)
-Do not insult other people for their collection.
-You are permitted one post to announce what you are trading and what you are searching for. You may only post 10 of each at any given time. If you update it, announce so.
-You will permitted two chances to apply with the correct form. If you fail both times, you cannot reapply for a week.

I currently will trade any rarity of dupes for Crystal Vaporeon Flareon and Jolteon. (yes even though jolteon is my affinity)

and following thor's suggestoin, i may alter the current rankings to make it more higher in forms of trinktes required to rank up. you can vote on the poll

edit: since i was making polls, i added another one for contests we can have. I have specified two kinds:
Races. First to a specified amount (most likely i'll say something like 50, we can decide once we decide wether to run it)
Collection race. Most amount collected after a pre-determined time period. I'll probably say two - three weeks, we can decide later

Edit: I did not understand these contests ideas. There will be some specification when they are ready?
Also updating. I have now 413 trinkets.

Edit2: I think is a good idea looking at http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=59399&view=findpost&p=2057780 once I update it, that is, to check what trinkets I am looking for the most. Alternatively, you can click the link on my sig and check the full list. Yellow ones are duplicates, blue the most desired and those with no background I don't have.

That bug seems to be fixed now, so my real total is 324. And I got my first rarity 10 trinket (Map to the Lost Something) My next goal is to find the two December trinkets I made.

I'm quite active in trinket trading, and almost all my duplicates are up on the Market. The only duplicates that aren't up are my Tili and Kule Crests, because I'm collecting them (they're my self-designed trinkets.)

I have the Happy Anniversary Achievement and am also in the top 10 of most mobile activations, which shows that I have been on for quite a while. Im not active on the forums, just the other group that I'm a part of, so I don't know if that will have any effect on my ranking.

Alright, I created the promotion form, but unfortunately, I didn't have the time to move anyone to the new group. The requisites for the new group (Maniacs) is 400 trinkets (as opposed to 350) and possessing Happy Anniversery. Check the first post for more!

I thought of one that may be fun: Having a Trinket of the week and we try to help all the members of the group obtain that trinket, whether by giving away or trading for it. members can sign up and state whether they want to trade it away or give it away, and they can change their standing as they see fit.

@Celes: I'm willing to do anything to complete my self-created trinket sets, so adding me will be fine. (And I totally understand not wanting to trade if one user in the equation has only one of the desired trinket(s). I normally don't make offers of trinkets I only have one of, but I will do so if I'm desperate enough.)

EDIT: Thanks to Mr Spaz and Celes Chere for gifting me two of the trinkets I despearately needed. Now, I just need the Layuda Crest (S3, R5, Azu) to complete my Ranger Sign Crests set.
If anyone would be willing to do a temporary PalPad add or trade for one of my duplicate trinkets, I'd gladly appreciate it.

The set that I need the least amount of Trinkets for is the October set. I only need the Patrat Bandanna, Wulfenite Venetian Mask, Azurite Venetian Mask, and Hacked Game Cartridge. Unfortunately, the last three tend to be quite rare and have far more offers than ones available in the Market. If anyone could help me out and do a trade/gift me those, I'd be quite happy.

Oh, yeah. That set'll be rotating in pretty soon. Just 2 more months. And TBH, we didn't have all the refinements to getting Pokéchests back then, so with the GC and BF, I'll probably be able to get more Pokéchests than I was able to get last year.

EDIT: I just got a Pyramidion out of my '100 interactions' Pokéchest. I didn't have that one before, either.

@thor: Sadly, I don't have many of the new trinkets, and I have none of the listed trinkets for Malachite that you've searched for. The highest rarity of the Set 6 trinkets I do have is only 5 (Shiny Ho-Oh Plushie, Reshiram's Torch). If I do get a duplicate of any of the trinkets you listed, and you still don't happen to have it at that point, I'd be more than willing to trade it to you.

I'll put my AoSG on the Market, and you two (Manah and Purple) can make the offers. How does that sound?

EDIT: I just put it up, and there were six offers on it after just putting it up! Wow. That was certainly fast. I got the Water Scale I wanted, so now I'm happy.
