Who he was:

David "Kidd" Kraddick (August 22, 1959 – July 27, 2013) was an American radio host and television personality. His nationally-syndicated morning radio show, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, was based in Las Colinas, Texas, in Irving, a suburb of Dallas, and aired throughout the United States, syndicated by Kraddick's company, YEA Networks.[3] He was also seen on the nationally-syndicated Dish Nation television show weeknights around the United States.[3]

Kidd Kraddick, the likable Dallas radio personality whose popularity expanded nationwide when his morning show was syndicated, died on Saturday at the age of 53. He passed away in New Orleans at a fundraising event for his Kidd's Kids charity organization at Timberlane County Club in Gretna, Louisiana.

I used to listen to Kidd all the time back when I was in high school. I hate getting up early for school - and sometimes work - but his morning show was so hilarious and him, kelly, big al, JC, jenna, and shannon would always brighten up my mood that I would always look forward to getting in the car and driving off just to listen to him. I loved the conversations they would have. I loved Get Over It, Love Letters to Kelly, that robot voice they used, and just everything about that show. I don't typically get upset when famous people pass away, but this one hit me as bad as when Steve Irwin died. You're so used to them being there for you, it's like someone you know is gone. :(

Did anyone else listen to Kidd Kraddick in the morning or watch his show? Any favorite stories that stuck out to you when you listened?

I always liked the Disney World week every year. He was such a great person. :(
