I've been clicking for quite a while & have tried all sorts of mass clicking techniques, but have come up short when it comes to matching some of the daily interaction records I've seen on the site.
Using Chrome, the best I've been able to do has been just over 30,000 interactions in a day (taking about 20 hours of clicking) - but I've seen others who have done that in an hour especially on days where activity scores are the basis for events (thinking about the Secret Santa exchanges for example). Is there some technique I'm missing? Should I aim for a shorter set of interactions (I've put the berry feeder on 200 pokemon & eggs)? Would using the hotkeys go faster than just putting my mouse in the middle of the egg button & clicking away? This post has been edited by Dalek Omega: Jan 1 2013, 10:58 PM -------------------- |

I click 2, 3, 4 (or 1,23 or 3,4,5) over and over. And with that, I can click between 10k and 20k an hour. I know people can click even more. I'm just prone to taking a few minutes here and there to hunt for specific eggs or chat with friends on gtalk/skype. -------------------- Please use the Help Page and appropriate Help Forum instead of PMing me. Spamming the 1-5 buttons are probably faster than using the mouse and clicking each berry individually The most interactions ive gotten in one day was 111,572. I could do more though, if I didn't have a child to take care of. So I probably wont be getting the 250k achieve any time soon

I haven't done more than 38k in one day, but I've also done that in about two hours. Basically, I get anywhere from 500-600 interactions per minute, but that all depends on how fast I go or if I'm distracted or something. What I do is just use two fingers at once (usually the 4 and 5 keys), and if you use three, you'll go even faster, but I don't bother.
So yes, hotkeys are way faster than mouse clicking. -------------------- Check my GPXPlus journal to see what I contributed to the site! Interested in a commission? PM me. |

I have never hit 250000 myself but that's because I'm lazy - I use all the shortcuts, and as long as your keyboard and fingers are fine with it, as long as you're fine with a bit of noise, and as long as you don't mind feeding wrong berries: Ditch the mouse and get your hands ready. Left pinky on 1, left ring on 2, left middle on 3, left index on 4; right thumb on spacebar; Right index on 5. Now just go "Through the fire and flames on piano" mode. Or, in other words, "Electrocuted spider legs fingers" mode. I think you know what I mean. "Click" away, and take breaks every once in a while because it might make your fingers tired. You can get a lot of interactions like that, though. Always open 300 Pokémon and eggs.

Oh yes, using hotkeys makes clicking way quicker.
Also use the spacebar to your advantage, as well, so the only time you're actually using your mouse, is when you need to navigate/click "open" to get more tabs up, and such. The only advice I can really give you, is to set aside a whole day just to yourself to do this. -If you're working, try to do it a day where you know the day after, you don't have an open shift, or not working at all. (I find it's really best for myself to do it when I have three days off in a row, and do it the second day, so I have time to rest the day later) -If you're in school/living at home with parents, make sure to do everything you can possibly think of the day earlier, so you know your parents won't come and ask you to do chores/homework and such. (or really, if your parents are cool about this, like mine are, just tell them, "hey, i'm going for a ridiculous amount of clicks on this site that I play on, is it alright if I don't do so-and-so that day?, etc" as for your question about how many users to have on the list at one time, i'd say that's up to how fast your computer can run, having the list show you 1000 users at a time, in most cases causes lag, even if just for a few seconds, those seconds can add up to quite a bit at the end of the day, so I'd say having the list at 500 is good, and open the max, 300 pokemon/eggs at a time to maximize clicking. TL;DR Do it on a day you know you won't be busy, at all use hotkeys to maximize clicking open 300 eggs/pokemon at a time to keep yourself busy, i find it best if you listen to fast-paced music, watch movies whiles doing this to keep you occupied. edit: oh god so much ninja'd :c This post has been edited by Giraffe A Laugh: Jan 1 2013, 11:04 PM -------------------- [align=center]The help page has loads of useful information!

Doing the user list is a lot easier to gets tons of clicks in 30 minutes than users online or anything else. There isn't constant moving of parties and running out of clicks, it's usually a constant 300 interactions each time, and if you quickly hit load when it's finished you can get a lot done if you don't take a break. Though breaks will happen with chats and egg hatching/grabbing... and when your hands start to hurt.. :B
Use the number row on the top to quickly mash keys. Have a full day to do it. Edit: oh yeah, i'll say what i do, too open 300 pokemon and eggs 1000 users per page and yeah, that's my set up oh, and I say every 30 minutes since that's always a good goal since the stats page updates at those times, then can take a short break or keep at it. It would probably help to not be hatching eggs all the time, because this can really eat your time away.

Entertainment is very important whether you get it from your computer or elsewhere. I have a nice big screen on my laptop and like to keep GPX+ in a tiny window on the right (so that I can have enough space to click Open again) and a Youtube or Netflix window all large on the left. -------------------- Check my GPXPlus journal to see what I contributed to the site! Thanks for some great ideas. I'll be sure to try them out after the reset on Saturday night/Sunday morning as that'll be a day where I can make the most of GPX clicking.
I do plan on having some form of entertainment going (I typically do anyway). I expect to complete the last two years of "The Avengers" while I click. Should I try to figure out how to turn off images in Chrome, or will that just mess things up? -------------------- |

I might try what you guys have said because I attempted last night to get 250k, but I just managed 90k interactions.

Well I get pretty high in interactions. My highest is 12k lol just for the 12.5k achievement. I myself use my IPod because you easily get fast clicks, but the spamming the 1-5 keys work really well too. I don't like how every 20 pokemon the clicking loads, so it takes more time.

I never thought I'd be able to do it since I have a kid, but I was able to get to 80K in 3 hours last night and during 5 hours this morning I'm already at 208K
I think the main thing is to KEEP AT IT. I'm really bad at focusing on things so I usually click 10k and then go look at DA and other websites. I decided to not look at anything except the new pokemon announcement. I also have been watching Dragonball Kai nonstop to keep me really focused too. And to keep from having to hatch eggs a lot, I've only been grabbing 10k maturity eggs. I didn't realize how fast I could go if I actually tried, so don't be discouraged!! The hot keys are your friends! I have about 8 hours to go until reset so I'm going to try to surpass 250k but we'll see XD -------------------- |

Just wondering if there's any more tips for clicking, I've got an Add-on on Chrome to block images as I'd thought that'd be faster, but I've so far only manage almost 100,000 interactions in just over 12 hours :\

I don't know if it would make a noticeable difference, but I would try to go for it on a day without a multiplier. Multipliers mean more people will be online trying to click and take advantage of the multiplier, which means higher lag.
Usually I don't notice a difference in lag between no multiplier and ~1.5x-2xish, but today (3.8x) the lag has been kind of bad. I'd try on a different day and see if less lag helps you, Assassynn. -------------------- |

Also to add, to have a better chance, start at early day, and click non stop for a few hours. Take 5-30 minutes to eat or do business, and then continue. It also depends on your computer type. Like you said chrome here is a good plan. Start early, use hot keys/space bar and nonstop for 7-9 hours with breaks included for business and eating. -------------------- |

I think you'd be doing much better if you weren't doing anything else besides pure clicking. I see you've hatched a decent amount of eggs, and that does add up to take a bit of time.
