Lucky achievement, but no event Pokemon? |

When I logged on today I found my "Lucky" achievement was registering 1/1, but I have not received any of the event Pokemon. It was suggested to me that it might be due to getting a Missingno or Manaphy, but I haven't gotten either of those yet either. I found a thread from two months ago about the same problem, but there was never any mod/admin reply to it. I didn't want to revive a dead thread, so I just made a new one. :P Similar thread

I had the same problem, I have a couple of guesses as to why this happened, but all we can do now is hope someone fixes this.

It is not decided until the script is run to give eggs out who is going to get them so by time its decided you are going to get one it would be there in your party. Have you never got any event egg from any event? If not must be a glitch. --------------------   |

I'm having the same issue, I've never gotten an event Pokemon before, nor do I have one now, but it let me unlock the achievement. -sorta sad I didn't get any egg, but I'm over it-
I suppose it is just a glitch, hopefully it gets resolved, but until then, I can live with no event Pokemon for now. --------------------  |

Same thing happened to me, and I hope it's a glitch and not because I was "meant" to get an event egg.

I know it isn't decided until the script is run. It was more of a joke. :P
If it's a random glitch, then it sucks, but these things happen I suppose. If it happened because we were meant to get event eggs, they glitched and didn't appear, then that sucks more. Either way I'd just like to know so I can stop wondering. -------------------- |

Now I'm not certain but it could be the error with the script that runs the event itself. It might not be that it is 'you are meant to' get an event egg but rather the script ran past your name through the list as it was randomizing and unlocked the achievement. I know there have been troubles with the script before. I remember a few months back when Kyogre was handed out there was a glitch and not all the eggs got handed out and back in March Raikou and Articuno's script got mixed together on the last day and those who already had Articuno got him again (even though it should have skipped past them) meaning they were probably set to get Raikou.
This is probably one of the good reasons why the script-run events are being replaced by a new way (as said by Wymsy in the event thread). -------------------- Follow Shay-Shay's flight and he will bring you to a place where eggs and Pokemon need much love. Shaymin cares, do you?  |

Does resurrecting a fossil Pokemon count as an "event"? If it is, then that may be the case.

I better post my actual experience.
I have; Resurrected an Egg, summoned an Egg, got a Manaphy Egg, obtained a Deoxys from an egg voucher and got an event poke from the shelter, but after all these things checked my achievements and got nothing. I, on the other hand, have received no event Pokemon, but I have received one (I believe) treasure chest, one Manaphy egg, and two Missingno eggs. But I can't unlock the achievement.
Edit: Then I looked at the May achievement post and discovered that it wasn't retroactive.  From now on, I will do my research before I complain and not after.
