We don't know yet. The hunt ends on reset, October 2nd, EST. Prizes should be revealed shortly thereafter.

i'm pretty sure (not completely certain though) That the prize will now be Prize points, at least i'm sure that was what was mentioned in the last update, which indicated the amount for finishing the shiny hunt would be significantly greater then that for a regular contest.
I read somewhere someone got 14 prize points for getting 1st place on a regular pokemon contest so whatever significantly greater would be for this i guess. -------------------- |

It's likely to be prize points depending on how many eggs you hatched, unless you got a shiny, in which case you get a mystery prize. Previous prizes have been new novelties based on the pokémon hunted, and Legendary Voucher Plus-es.

Here's to hoping its based on eggs hatched, i'm homing in on 700 eggs and no shiny so yeah a good amount of points would be good compensation ahaha
