[Living Arrow]

This RP is closed to applicants and all players have already been decided. Bunnying of any sort has been agreed upon prior to the start of the roleplay. Our players today are: Living Arrow, Master Houndoom and Umbrae Calamitas.

An avalanche of boulders and gravel heralded the breaking of a serene mountain glade as four Pokemon Trainers and four of their partner Pokemon hurtled down the slopes of Mount Carello. Their legs flashed underneath them as they sprinted with speed born of fear, leaping fallen logs, springing from boulders and sliding down grassy knolls that provided them all with the time-wasting obstacles that only brought their followers closer. Heartbeats drummed in their heads, a thunder of blood that rocked their temples so hard that the floor seemed to pitch and bend under their feet. Mere seconds passed after they entered the next treeline before their hunters broke into view behind them.

Not one, not two, but three enormous Steelix surged down the mountain towards them, rage powering their metallic bodies after the puny humans that fleed their monstrous forms. The lead Iron Snake surged ahead and slammed its tail into the ground, splitting the dirt and creating a tremendous Earthquake.

"Ungh!" The smallest human, a young female with blonde hair tied back under a bandana was thrown clear of her midnight steed. She sailed through the air, seemingly in slow motion as her wide eyes scanned the ground below her. A Pokeball was in her outstretched hand an the recall beam activated before her Ponyta could get caught up in another attack. Wraith was recalled back into the ball in a flash of red energy just as the Steelix raced across the spot where he had fallen. Tuesday plummeted downward, windmilling her arms desperately before she hit the steep slope where a mini cliff had been created under her Pokemon's feet. She crashed into the base of the mound hard, an arm hitting solid rock particularly nastily, ripping a startled scream from her lips.

A mighty Steelix reared above her, its enormous head coming straight for tiny body. It's menacing eyes drank in her pain and fear mercilessly as it prepared to deliver the finishing blow...

Strong arms wrapped around Tuesday's waist and she was dragged up from the floor in a swift motion, her arms immediately swung around her adoptive brother's neck as he practically threw her atop his back. She clung on for dear life as Jaima leapt clear of the Steelix, dodging it nimbly as its head slammed into the spot where the would-be Researcher had just been. It's face came up to survey where its quarry was headed even as a Lucario's foot flew upwards in a neat arc, kicking it forcefully under the chin where it flew back with a harshly audible 'crack!'. Shadow left the Steelix unmoving, rushing to keep up with the rest of the group.

Tuesday squeezed her eyes shut as Jaima sprinted down the slope, dodging saplings and jutting boulders that threatened to steal his purchase from Terra Firma. A dark, snaking form shot in from the side, catching the pair off guard. Jaima's eyes widened behind his wire-framed glasses but no words were able to pass his lips before it would be too late.

"LADY!"

A roaring gout of flame burst from the trees, igniting the surrounding foliage even as it struck the attacking Steelix in the side of the head, pushing it off course and sending it screaming into a tumble mere yards from meeting its target. Jaima flashed Darryn a grin and a nod even as he took off again, Tuesday still clinging to his back.

"Move, damn it!" Meiko grabbed Darryn by the arm, and yanked him back into a run even as the third Iron Snake came flying toward them. A masive beetle dropped out of the sky and pick them both up, lifting them far clear of the demonic serpent's maw and tossing them to land on their feet and ready to enter a stumbling sprint.

With all four trainers on the run, the last Steelix whipped itself up into a frenzy of anger after seeing its brethren fall. It was hindered by fewer significant obstacles as it gave chase, slithering and sliding inch by inch closer to the humans who had disturbed its nest.
The breath and energy of each of the trainers was waning as they finally reached the base of the mountain and the land became rolling plains. They had probably made the descent in record time but the time to stop and celebrate their little victory was still out of reach.

"Darryn, Meiko?!" Jaima called to his companions. They called back the affirmative. "You ready, Tuesy?" The whimpered reply was faint but agreed with the other two. Jaima nodded.
As one, the gang of four slowed to a stop and turned to face the oncoming foe. The small girl dropped from the tall boy's back and stood alongside him, a Pokeball leaving her hands.

Twin jets of flame screamed from the mouths of a Vulpix and a Charmeleon, stopping the Steelix dead in its tracks as it bore down upon them and when the fire faded it was met with the ferocious force of a Lucario and Heracross. The Iron Snake took the blows and folded like a stack of cards, its segmented form crumbling into a heap at the feet of those it had been attacking.

"And that thing went rogue on us?" Meiko snorted, putting her hands on her hips haughtily. "Doesn't it know who we are?!"

The other three all looked at each other in a moment of stunned silence before they all collapsed on the ground, holding their stomachs and laughing.

Meiko looked around at them in surprise. "What? Was it something I said?"
