Go to the egg's information page (where you would normally interact with it). The option will appear there.

How and where can you find its maturity level?

How and where can you find its maturity level? Pretty much anywhere. Go to your poketch; the information appears right there, underneath the egg. Go to the interaction page, the information appears right there, underneath the egg. Go to your party page, the information appears right there, underneath the egg. I hate to be rude, but how could you have not noticed that? -------------------- |

See thats what I thought too, but the Fire Orb says "Allows one egg to hatch prematurely if it has full maturity." Which honestly makes no sense at all seeings how in order to hatch it, it has to have full maturity. So what is the point of this item?

Which honestly makes no sense at all seeings how in order to hatch it, it has to have full maturity. So what is the point of this item? Normally, you can only hatch an egg if it is at least an hour old. Generally speaking, I don't run into this limit, but it does exist. Sometimes you might get an egg to 100% before it is an hour old, and you can't hatch it. The flame orb allows you to do so. -------------------- |

As in the case of a Magikarp egg, which has a low experience bar, only about 1,280 or something, so it is ready to hatch fast, specially on days with multipliers like today.

Oh that make sense now. I was hoping it made the egg hatch regardless :/

It is good to note that the one hour limit applies to when the egg was created, not when you gained possession of it.
Daycare eggs are generated at xx:12, which means that all shelter eggs (or eggs you breed yourself) will be ready to hatch at xx:12, assuming they aren't an hour old already. If I read things correctly, lab eggs are generated at xx:00, which you might be able to use to your advantage as well. -------------------- |
