if you are trying to breed some bidofo for yourself (or possibly someone else) how would you known if you bred a bidofo instead of a bidoof? i DO have the silpth scope whiich i have been using to see if i bred any slime slugmas (9/10 so far). but from what I've seen bidoof and bidofo eggs look (probably) the same. is there any way to tell the difference between these eggs or is it just up to hax to breed and claim the right one?

There's no distinguishable difference. When it comes to breeding, it's just luck. (As I'm doing right now, coincidentially)

For the record, would this be the same as asking for egg IDs?

For the record, would this be the same as asking for egg IDs? Its probably borderline. They already know what it looks llke and likely the egg description (since it seems like they already own both) and aren't explicitly asking "whats the egg discription/looks for ___." They're just trying to confirm if there is any difference between the eggs that they've been unable to notice or if they really are the same. Though I suppose it is true that in the process they are somewhat asking for egg descriptions (but that doesn't seem to be the actual intent here). The mods also haven't jumped on this so its probably ok. -------------------- |

The problem is, we can only 'see' the eggs through the scope, not their descriptions. If the latter can be seen, it would be so much easier to pick the right egg. No, the eggs are the same, which is where the confusion came from.
Oh well, that's the beauty and fun of breeding Biodofo, isn't it? -------------------- |

It's not that hard, like my Zergoose and Bidofo breed only one egg at a time, so if a Bidofo-looking egg comes along, I just take it since it's the only one.
You've just got to look for couples that would only breed the one egg. -------------------- |
