Forum validation system changed |

When a user registers, they will no longer have to go through the email validation. However, before they can begin posting on the forums, they will have to pass a quiz on the forum rules.
Now, this will help to ensure that new members have actually read the rules. But what about all the current members who still insist on breaking the rules? That's where the sort of downfall comes in. All current members (aside from staff and veterans) will be placed back into the Validating group and have to pass the quiz. A redirect to the quiz can be found at the top of the forums if you are a Validating member. It can also be found under the Member Options tab. Right, that was slightly pointless. Luckily I only wasted approximatly one minute of my life on that.
But, it is a good idea for the noobs. At least it will actually get them reading the rules. Nice work

So when you get something wrong, how many tires to you have do go back and get it right again. And once you've expired that amount, (if there is one), how long is it before you can try again.

I like it. But what if the new members don't notice the forum rules tab and can't find it?
Also I noticed an itty-bitty grammatical error. "If you need to report a problem you are having with something on GPXPlus. where would you post it?" The period after GPXPlus should be a comma. I was alittle worried, I thought I had done something wrong and couldn't post anymore, but I took the test turns out I only got one question wrong, I re did it and passed x3

I feel that it will decrease membership by a lot and personally I think it is a bad idea.

Something was wrong with my computer so it wouldn't let me validate. I had to get on the Wii to take the test. I like the concept.

I was shocked in the beginning but now I see it's purpose and I think it's pretty interesting. This way everyone will know how to perform well on the forums without doing the wrong things.

Scare the crap out of me. Two of my pokemon got to level 100 so I needed to update my sig then I saw that the Controls was kinda short, I just thought "hey, maybe they update it to make it more simple" then I notice I could not edit my sig. lol
I feel sorry for any newbie (as if I can say much) who just join like last night. JabbaScript do have a point. I only notice it by typing "validation" in the search (good thing that was still working) and see if anyone else have the same problem and saw that it was a update. I bet there may be a few newbies who don't know what the heck is going on.  I hope they know how to do a search or read the updates.
