This land, this world with no name, it was once a place of peace and harmony. People worked together to support each other, they got on so well. It was a happy place to be, with lush countrysides and bustling cities full of smiling faces. Nobody wanted for anything, everyone was so cheerful and optimistic.
Then the darkness came, and the land began to fall silent.
It spread from the Palace.
Out across the land the dark cloud went, reaching every corner until every last inch of the world had been covered by this strange half-light, this ominous shadowy gloom which froze everyone in their tracks.
Literally.
The cities are now full of statues of the people who once walked their streets.
The villages are silent as the grave, a graveyard for several villagers now made of stone.
It spread from the Palace.
The animals were affected too, but differently: they became savage monsters, preying on each other and causing chaos and havoc wherever they went. They had been transfigured and twisted out of their natural shapes into hideous beasts.
The plants and the trees were bent out of shape, transformed into withered, decaying shells of their former selves.
Water became dirty and polluted by this strange cloud of darkness, to the point that it was undrinkable.
And if it was drunk, a fate worse than that of the animals was waiting for the poor soul who had drunk it.
It spread from the Palace.

However ...

The Crystals appeared one day to these chosen people, not long before the darkness began to spread.
No one seems to know what they are for.
But it's clear that they have some significant meaning in this.
The owners of the Crystals weren't affected by the darkness's touch.
It's up to them to save the world from this darkness...
The darkness that spread from the Palace of Liquid Shadows.

Name: Deshon Fortune

Nickname(s): 'Darq'

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Race: Elf

Magic: Life

Crystal Colour: Violet

Appearance: At 6'0", Darq is the third tallest of his family, with only his father and one of his older brothers surpassing him in height. He wears his thick, jet-black hair spiked up, but his bangs fall into his eyes no matter how much he tries to keep them off his face. His clear amber eyes are often narrowed. His skin is a warm brown colour, well weathered by the elements. Both of his ears are pierced as well as his nose - he wears star shaped jewellery in each piercing as does the rest of his family. He has a golden star tattooed under his left eye and another bigger one on his left arm.
He wears a black wire chain around his neck, decorated with feathers on either side of the strange violet Crystal he has strung onto it.
His shirt is sleeveless and a pale golden cream colour; he leaves this open due to the climate of the village he lives in being rather warm and humid. His pants are a darker yellowish-gold and well-mended, and he wears plain grey work boots which have served him well for many years. He also has a leather toolbelt which he straps to his waist; it has detachable dagger sheaths and an item pouch for storing his various trinkets.
When fighting, he attaches his twin daggers to his wrists with ropes so he does not lose them while fighting, and wears black leather bracers to protect his arms from the backlash. The daggers are very simple in design, but each dagger has a small hook at its tip which can do some serious damage if used correctly.
Darq also has a compact bronze hoverboard, which he uses for short-distance travelling as well as sporting events. When it is on his person, but not in use, he keeps it strapped to his back via a shoulder strap which connects to his toolbelt.

Personality: Darq is rather reclusive and distrusting of people he doesn't know well. It takes him quite a while to warm up to others, and often he will simply refuse to accept someone based on the tiniest detail. He's extremely racist when it comes to humans, but this is typical of most elves from his hometown. Around strangers, he is not afraid to speak his mind and to be himself; Darq is not a believer of fabricating first impressions with falsities and pleasantries. With his friends, Darq is light-hearted, witty, and generally very enjoyable company. He will try his hardest to make light of an upsetting situation for those he cares about, or those he thinks are vunerable. He has a very dry, sarcastic sense of humour. He can get very passionate about the things that are dear to him, and will fiercely defend what he believes to be right. Darq is not known to keep a cool head in intense situations.
His hobbies include hoverboard racing, writing and cartography.

Biography: Darq was born to a rather large family of elves; he is one of the middle bunch of a clan of six surviving sons and eight daughters. He spent some of his childhood in a big city near the Grand Palace, and in this city elves were meant to do the bidding of the humans. Because of this, he grew to resent even the presence of humans. His family was not of a working class level but they were treated as such by the humans of even the lowest classes.
When he was six years old his little brother died of illness, an illness that could have been prevented if the humans had given them the proper medicine for it. His family moved away from this city when he was twelve due to revolts throwing the city into a chaotic mess, no place to raise a family of small children. They relocated out into the countryside to a small village community where all four races were able to live in peace with each other. It's here that Darq struck up a strange friendship with Simon, an eccentric Water Imp who later worked at the village's schoolhouse. The two never fought or had disagreements, but at first they did not seem entirely comfortable around each other.
One day, the day before his twenty-first birthday, Darq was out walking with Simon in the forest surrounding the village. They had a lot to discuss: Simon had recently been on an excursion to a nearby village as part of his duties as a scholar, and on the return trip to his home, he had come across a most curious artefact. He showed Darq the large blue crystal he claimed to have found simply lying by the wayside, and the two walked on further, discussing it and wondering what they should do with it. It was by chance that Darq discovered the strikingly similar violet crystal in the undergrowth as they were walking; if he hadn't stopped to retie the strings of his boots, he probably would not have seen it at all.
Once he touched the crystal, however, time seemed to stand utterly still, and the forest grew eerily quiet. Birds stopped calling to each other, animals ceased their foraging in the bushes, even the plants and the trees did not seem right. Darq looked down at the crystal in his hand and then back up, just in time to see the mist of darkness descend on everything around him and Simon. It affected everything, twisting trees out of shape and wilting the grasses and flowers beneath their feet. The two young men looked at each other, and then all around them, and then at the crystal in Darq's hand. Simon couldn't help but look at his crystal as well; it was the same in every respect except colour.
They didn't even hear what used to be the birds until it was far too late.

It's not mine, either. XD
For spelling and grammar, if it's legible and not too badly spelled, I actually won't care much. I just don't like it when things aren't capitalised, and when people use chatspeak in RPs. Does my head in something fierce.

That would be a YES, Dark.

I'm changing the rule about the literacy (damn freelancers can get a bit picky, can't we?), and I'm putting up some more info about the Crystals in the first post. Just to make things clearer.

Accidental double-post. Forgot I posted before this damnit.

Name: Cainwen Bristol
Nickname(s): People call her Cain, for short. Aeron calls her Dearie.
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Magic: Air~
Crystal Colour: Silver because I can.

Appearance: Cainwen stands at five foot seven and weighs about 145 pounds, even with a slender body. Her hair is jet black which goes down to a bit past her neckline, but her bangs go to about her chest. A necklace lies around her neck, hidden by her dark hair. It is of a silver chain, the silver jewel in a small clasp to attack it to the chain. Her eyes are a shade of dark green, but seem more of a dark brown color under her orange lenses of her glasses. Normally, she wears a black off-shoulder shirt, the right shoulder exposed, which the sleeves end at her elbows. Both ends of the shirt, along with the two sides at the bottom of it, have black lacing at the ends. Cainwen always wears her ‘lucky’ black washed jeans, which comes with a silvery gray belt, and her black climbing boots. Lastly, she has a dark gray backpack, a single strap one. The only thing of value – to Cainwen –is a silver bell on a red ribbon, thought lost its gleam long ago. It is about the size of her palm. A gift she was given from her late grandmother before she died.

The belt has a clip to it, which attaches to a small dagger, a double edged blade with another small and curved blade attached at 90 degrees on it, on a black line that ends at a ring the other side of the belt. The line, as it seems, is wrapped around several times, thought is easy to unwind fast. The clip and line is really a Kyoketsu Shoge as they call it, Cain’s long ranged weapon. Other then that, she carries two other weapons. One is a black throwing dagger in her back pocket, and a short staff. The staff, thought short but bigger then a wand, has a pointed tip at one end, and the silver crystal placed on the other end. Normally, Cain would carry this around, but sometimes she will just attach it to her hip through the use of the ring. At least it dose not drag on the ground.

Personality: Cain is more of a laid back girl, but is ‘known’ for being easily agitated. Normally, she dose not take many matters seriously, but won’t stop at nothing to protect others dear to her. Cain, mostly like her mother, is a stubborn person. Once she sets her sight to something, she is not going to give up, and won’t go down without a fight. She has her mother’s fighting spirit her father always said. Thought, Cainwen is not very good at using magic but better at physical fighting, unlike how her twin brother is great at using magic but weak at physical fighting. Strangly, her twin would want to be out fighting more then she would. Cain herself enjoys sitting back, maybe with a puzzle or riddle, her specialty. Thought she has a habit of talking to herself then, but she still dose that a lot of other times too. Most times she speaks gibberish to some people, other times in Welsh, other times in…well, I don’t even know. Really, the only things Cainwen enjoys are her puzzles and riddles, along with books. And singing, even if she only dose that when no one else is around.

Biography: Cainwen was born with a twin brother, Aeron Bristol, in a city. Her mother had died at childbirth, her father having to bring the twins up himself. Only pictures show what her mother had looked like, being that Cainwen never knew her. Their father was a painter, a pretty darn good one. He would sometimes, maybe daily when he had time, teach the twins how to paint. Cain herself was not a natural at it, unlike how Aeron was like his father- a natural artist. The twins themselves never went their separate ways, always sticking together. Hardly did they ever leave each other’s side, even how many times their father tried to have them go separate ways. But, luckily, that had only lasted a short time. Thought their father remarried to their Step-mother, Cain and Aeron never really though her to be their mother. They just called her by her first name. The only woman, as they would say, would be their Grandmother. A kind and gentle soul, their Grandmother, ‘Grandma’, lived on the country side with her husband, their ‘Grandpa’.

As it seems, the twins preferred their Grandparent’s country side home over their home in the city. The open free land, the farm fields, even the stables. They where all the Twins’ favorite places. Even the old oak tree in the backyard, where they would hide up at their and Grandpa would pretend to not know where they where, then say he would have Grandma’s pies all to himself to get the two children to come down. Ah, the pleasant childhood they had. Thought when the twins where about 13 years of age, their Grandmother came down with a sickness. On her to-be death bed, she had given the twins the same item; two silver bells and red ribbons. They had cherished these items since.

Several weeks later, she passed quietly away while Grandpa was making her daily tea. A small funeral service was held for Grandma in the backyard. Instead of a graveyard, in her will, Grandma had wanted to be buried next to the old oak tree. To be with her grandchildren, the will had said, being that the oak tree was the most loved places on the farm for the children. But, since then, the twins had lost their childish glee, their father become single once again and coulden’t keep hold of a girlfriend. Pity on him, as one would say. Slowly, their father had started to fill the void in his life by drinking. Sometimes he would come home drunk, sometimes not at all till morning.

Thought, soon, their father would regret that. Thought Cain was mostly fine with it, Aeron was completely against it. He tried to get his father to stop, but he was already addicted to it. The child had tried so hard at times, but he could never get his father to stop. So, then, about three years since this all started – the twins where 16 – Aeron had just…how must you say? Left. Left in the dead of night he did, with only the cloths on his back and a sack of food. Their father had simply broke down at that point, like most whose own fault that their loved one had left.

After that, Cainwen had waited and waited thought Aeron never had come back. Another loved one lost…thought, still, Cain held on strong. On that day, she made of promise to herself; to never ever lose another loved one like that, ever again. While her father was getting his left back together and his painting career back, Cain herself started working in a small food store, stocking the shelves and cleaning the place. She didn’t make much, but, eh, at least she was making something. After two years, her father was once again a well known painter around town. Cainwen herself was still working at the shop, same old job, but was happy. Really happy.

Her father re-married to a happy, gentle soul of a wife. Cainwen really liked her. They seemed to live a happy family once again, thought Aeron was still gone. She still missed her twin, yes, but lived with it. The life she had now didn’t need anymore sorrows then it already had in the past. That time was like… a faded memory. Cain had stopped living in the past, as she told herself long ago, and now enjoyed life. Well, she did,

Until

It

Happened

When this all started, Cainwen had simply found the silver jewel on the doorstep of the shop. Strangly, no one else seemed to pay much mind to the jewel. So, Cain kept it for herself, changing the small jewel on her necklace – a gift for her birthday – with the jewel she found that day. Then, Cainwen was only finishing up work at the shop, humming away a tune. As she looked out one of the glass windows, she only stood there as the sky darkened, even in the middle of the day. An eclipse, maybe? No. The sun was not blocked by the moon, more like the dark clouds rolling through. As the sky was only with half of it’s light, an ominous shadowy glow. But, outside, it was more shocking. The people that once lined the city streets – workers, beggars, merchants, villagers from the town over and sellers - where all standing still, like clay statues – stiff and lifeless, trapped in place like stone. There was a lady standing near Cainwen, so Cain tried to get her to move. But, only, it didn’t work. It was…strange to her…She was the only thing moving, the only being still with a pulse.

Quickly, Cain had went and changed from her work cloths, and then back to the store. Thing lined the shelves, a perfect opportunity. Stuffing some things into her backpack, she had packed for her ‘trip’. Cainwen had to find out what had caused this, and why was she still…well, alive. As she packed, it came to her. The jewel she had found today, it must of done something. Something that she didn’t know, something she had to find out. As she stepped out into the city streets, once so full of life, questions raced in her minds. What in the world is the jewel she found? Is there anyone else who has these jewels? Where did these jewels come from, and where in the world did that…shadow come from? Cainwen was determined to find out. Throwing one last look over her shoulder and going forth on her little quest, a lone shadow moved through the town, following his little ‘prey’.

Read the Rules?: I'm being creative, ok? At least I posted it. altaria.gif
Oh, and yes, I did have an aunt who passes away when her son was making tea (or some sort of beverage) for her. Hurp.
Also, who the fuck is following Cainwen? You’ll find that out once I finish my other profile~

On another note, this is possibly the longest history I wrote. Ohshi-

I had fun writing it grin.gif

I'm just lucky I just need to finish the personality on this on and half of the history. Some of the work already done for me!

Fun Fact: Most written Pars are 8, but I had that on another SU. But, that one did have as long Pars as Cainwen's did...

Name: Aeron Bristol
Nickname(s): Arie, Erie (blame Cainwen for that one)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Magic: Fire. Let it burn baby, let it burn.
Crystal Colour: Blue

Appearance: Aeron stands at five foot ten with a slender frame, weighing at only about 150 pounds. His jet black hair reaches just below the ears and has a more of a spiked way to it. Aeron’s eyes are really a dark green, being only dark crimson contacts. All the more to strike fear in his ‘pray’, yes? Now, Aeron dresses more like a gentleman then a thief, really. A Gentleman Thief, as he calls himself. First off, He wears a white dress shirt under a black waist coat, a line running down the ends and the white color of the dress shirt over the collar of the waist coat, along with black dress pants and knee-high heeled boots. Under the collar of his dress shirt, there is a small red ribbon tied around his neck. Over all of this, Aeron wears a long black overcoat which falls to his ankles, the end of it long and torn from the years of wearing it. The coat’s collar is usually turned up, and it has a silver lining. The cuffs from his dress shirt stretch out, covering the cuffs of his overcoat. Under the left white cuff, Aeron has a small chain around his wrist, rusty silver someone had dropped. His keeps his blue jewel on it, a small clasp on the bracelet to keep it there. With that, Aeron also had two sets of three gold chains across his chest, possibly for his coat, and a brown belt which keeps the coat closed and all. Other then that, there is also a pair of black gloves he wears and a black top hat, along with a red arm band just above his right elbow. He fancies a red cape, too, which is the same length as the overcoat. Under his waistcoat, Aeron has a belt pack, which carries around small items along with a silver bell which had lost its gleam long ago and is on a red ribbon.

Now, onto weapons and such things. First off, Aeron’s main weapon would be a double-edge sword with dark silver hilt, along with a small black vine-like thing wraps around the part of the lade that meets the hilt, with a light blue jewel on the hilt. It’s an old sword, Aeron could tell, but he keeps it freshly polished. It stays in a brown scabbarb (what they put the sword in when not in use). His second weapon is a staff, neatly hidden under his overcoat. The staff part itself is oak wood, a deep brown color. The top of the staff is more…of a tangle of the wood. In the center, there is a blue orb on top. It the staff, also, has a pointed end. Lastly, Aeron’s third weapon, which is for ‘just in case’, is a Kusarigama, better known as the Chain Sickle. The sickle part is with a dark wood handle, the blade silvery. A second, short blade sticks out of the top of the sickle. The chain is a darker shade of gray, along with a small blue diamond at the end.

Personality: Aeron is a more of a gentleman, mysterious and strange, but has a habit of scaring people. Actually, it’s one of Aeron’s more favorite things to do. Thought, Aeron himself doesn’t like to get scared. Some would say, if I may, that Aeron is a bit…crazy. He likes to play, well, mind games with others, just games. Thought, whenever he can, Aeron prefers to play chess with others, but you can’t always. Now, just to say, Aeron dose not take very many things seriously. Like I said before, he plays games with people. Thought, when it dose come time to battle, Aeron can easily go full-out attack. But, mostly Aeron is rather calm, even if life or death situations. It takes a lot to get him mad. He’s stubborn, thought, like his mother. Now, for fighting, he tends to go and attack from a long range, but can go short range with his sword. Thought he enjoys using magic more. Finally, like I said before, Aeron enjoy scaring people, even playing tricks on them. Other interests are Chess or books. And cooking.

Biography: Aeron was born with a twin sister, Cainwen Bristol, in a city. His mother had died at childbirth, his father having to bring the twins up himself. Only pictures show what his mother had looked like, being that Aeron never knew her. Their father was a painter, a pretty darn good one. He would sometimes, maybe daily when he had time, teach the twins how to paint. Aeron had apparently had his father’s artistic trait with him, being a natural artist. Cain, well, not so much. The twins themselves never went their separate ways, always sticking together. Hardly did they ever leave each other’s side, even how many times their father tried to have them go separate ways. But, luckily, that had only lasted a short time. Thought their father remarried to their Step-mother, Aeron and Cain never really though her to be their mother. They just called her by her first name. The only woman, as they would say, would be their Grandmother. A kind and gentle soul, their Grandmother, ‘Grandma’, lived on the country side with her husband, their ‘Grandpa’.

Slowly, their father had started to fill the void in his life by drinking. Sometimes he would come home drunk, sometimes not at all till morning.

Thought, soon, their father would regret that. Thought his twin was mostly fine with it, Aeron was completely against it. He didn’t think his father should drink just to fill the void in his life. He should maybe pick up a hobby or something. He could meet another girl. He just wanted his father to do something other then drink. He tried and tried again, but nothing worked. After three years of trying, when the twins where 16, Aeron had decided to just leave, thinking that if his father would change his lifestyle. But, half of it was for his sister. He left in the dead of night, Cainwen fast asleep and his father either still at the bar or in the living room asleep. With only the cloths on his back and a sack of food, he left.

Soon enough, Aeron became the common thief to live in the city. Yes, he had stayed in the city, knowing that he would be safe enough in the covers of the shadows. Every so often, in the dead of night, he would return to the house, just to see how things where going. He saw at one time his father’s art studio out back was filled with the fresh smell of paint, still wet paintings lining the place. Seemingly, Aeron was happy. Slowly, as he found out, Father was becoming the successful painter he once was all over again. It was…joyful. His father, now become the man he once was. After that, Aeron left everything else to his father.

Another time, he had noticed his Father with woman, a pretty one, walking around town. She seemed…kind…like his Grandmother. He had re-married soon, Aeron getting to know that through the newspapers. He thought of coming back then. His father did seem to have his life back on track. But Aeron never did come back. No, he never did. Life seemed good for them now. Aeron didn’t want to ruin it for them now. He thought them as a happy little family now. But, then,

It

Happened

On that day, Aeron had simply been strolling along the streets when he found the jewel. The deepest blue, most beautiful jewel he had ever seen. He didn’t even think the richer of the people in the city had something like this. Aeron kept this, a small treasure. He put it on the chain he had around this wrist, something someone dropped in the city streets long ago, and went on with his day. Humming along with a fine tune, that was when he stopped. Upwards, dark clouds where covering the sky. Maybe rain or something? But the sun was not completely blocked it- there was still some light, thought with a ominous shadowy glow. Around him, he noticed, people just…stopped moving, stiff and still as statues. Lifeless they seemed, trapped in their stone-like graves. It was, as if, the city became a graveyard. But, he noticed, that he was moving. The only one moving. It was strange…but then he thought of it. That strange jewel…maybe it had something to do with it. Thought he wanted to test the theory, he didn’t dare pull of his bracelet. Didn’t want to be a statue, now.

Thought, Aeron had no clue where the jewel could have come from. Could have just appeared out of no where…right? But, what was this jewel? And what about the shadows, where did they come from? That, and why make them like statues, not do something else? But, one thing most of all, could he get rid of these, to return the city to its former glory? Oh, these questions, they swarmed Aeron’s mind. It was…just so strange. He finally snapped out of his thoughts as he heard a small bell chime – the bell of a store’s door. Someone stepped out of the store – a woman – and out on the street. Someone else who had a jewel, maybe? So, Aeron decided to follow her. Maybe she could help him figure these things out. Maybe…

DARKROW COMIN' THROUGH! XD

Name: Anita Frankfort DuVanier (She doesn't know it)

Nickname(s): The Colorful Blackbird, Color, Black, Birdy, Colora and any similar variants of her nickname. Also called Sunshine or Sunny by some.

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Race: Elf with some Demon genes.

Magic: Air

Crystal Colour: White

Appearance: The Colorful Blackbird is a beautiful albeit eccentric young elf. She stands at 5"7' and weighs around 117 pounds. Her body is very well developped for her age and males of all ages are known to stare at her when she passes by and stutter when she talks to them. Her hair is pale brown and reaches the back of her calves. Her bangs almost completely cover her forehead and her hair reaches her neck on each side of her head. Her eyes are orange, brown and black with a slit pupil, similar to a cat. She has pale orange eyeliner over her eyes. She has a blue jewel on her head with two white ropes tied to it, making it seem like a bow. She has a special elf necklace around her neck, which looks like an inverted water drop with two small fangs on the bottom. Her elf ears are, unlike regular elf ears, in the same position as human ears, meaning that they aren't seen.

Her clothes are, like said earlier, very eccentric and colorful. She has a red dress that becomes dark green and, eventually, pale yellow with white spots as it goes down. There are golden strings around the bottom of her abdomen. It has a large frilly collar that, if put straight up, would go up to her nose. The inside of the collar is a vibrant yellow. There's a black sash around her stomach to keep the dress in place. There are four white pom-poms on the sash too. As the dress goes up her chest, it gets a small criss-crossing design with golden strings before getting too small to cover her ample breasts. Due to this, she wears white bandages around them and her stomach. Around her shoulders is a long white cloth with red arrows pointing up on it. On the point of each arrow there's a large white bead, one of them being her jewel. her sleeves are dark green and the left one has a gash in it, showing her red dress. They are long and flowy and they have the same design as the bottom of her dress. The front of her dress is split in half.

She has black panties for lower wear, which are exposed thanks to her dress. Apart from that, her left leg is sloppily bandaged and a piece of the bandages is missing, since it was torn off. It hides a deep scar. She has large getas for footwear that are held to her feet with a red ribbon. Because of their height, it makes her look 6"1'. She has small golden anklets around both her ankles too.

The reason she is called The Colorful Blackbird is because of her strange outfit and because of the large black wings sprouting from her back. She can use them to fly but she tires easily and, as such, she can't fly great distances. She can, however, use them to generate powerful wind. She also has black feathers on the back of each side of her head. These are due to her Demon genes. She always carries a fancy-looking fan with her, which she uses to create large gusts.

Personality: As eccentric as her outfit, The Colorful Blackbird is easily recognisable by her habit of speaking in rhymes. She's usually very cheerful and it is rare to see her with a frown. She rarely even whines about something, always taking everything on the bright side of life. She often manages to make people happy just by being around them. It's as if her aura itself was positive.

She has a good sense of humor and laughs at almost every joke she hears, no matter how corny it is. She's a recomforting person and she lets people cry on her if they wish. She also listens to what others have to say, whether it be a question or a rant. She's prone to worrying about someone very easily, since she wishes the well-being of almost everyone, whether it be enemy or ally.

Very athletic and agile, she seems to have a lot of energy to spare. Therefore, she runs, jumps and does athletic moves whenever she can to keep herself in shape. She likes training and working out on occasion too. A wonderful fighter who would protect her friends with her life, she's loyal to those she trusts, obviously. She'll go with anyone's plan without question if it seems reasonable. She doesn't even mind being the one to do everything, as long as she's helpful, she'll do it. She'd do anything to help her friends too.

Easily likeable and befriended, once you get used to her way of speaking that is, she has no trouble getting friends. Most are surprised that she has managed to stay cheerful and bright even after the darkness spread throughout the land. It's hard to even annoy her and when she is annoyed, it takes almost nothing to make her bright and cheerful again.

Angering her is almost impossible since she almost always manages to control herself. But, like everyone, she has a few pet peeves that make it easier to anger her. People treating her and women in general as sex objects disgust her; people that mock her wings annoy her greatly and people who are general assholes manage to piss her off after a while. However, she will happily answer as to why she has wings and such.

Like everyone, she has her sad, some may call it "emo", moments. This is when she's reminded of her family and her friends at the circus that she used to work at. During those moments, she'll ditch her rhyming and become really depressed. She may even become suicidal in extreme cases. People are often surprised to see her being negative since she's often seen as positivity itself.

She has a tendency of calling girls "dear" and boys "sweetie". When fighting, she becomes a little cocky and warns her opponent about her strength, telling them to give up before they get hurt. She fights using all her natural agility and flexibility to her advantage along with sending strong gusts of wind to destabilise her opponent.

Despite her cheerfulness, she's, quite honestly, fairly dumb. She falls for obvious traps and lies. She dislikes liars though, so you better hope she doesn't find out that you lied to her. She rarely finds plans of her own and, as such, she relies heavily on her logic in every situation. When she does get a plan, it's always an ingenious one though. She can also be a bit of an airhead at times too. She does not know how to read or write.

She doesn't remember her real name, so she thinks her real name is The Colorful Blackbird and that her nicknames are Sunshine and Sunny. When she gets told that it isn't a name, she just says that it is hers. She is fairly famous too, since she was a member of a widely known interracial circus.

She depends on others somewhat, since she hates being all alone and because, without others, she may fall in deadly traps. She's very forgiving, although she finds some things unforgivable, which trigger a grudge. When around people she hates, she becomes rather rude and generally mean, which is unusual for her.

Biography: Born in a large interracial city where every race lived in peace, The Colorful Blackbird had a relatively calm childhood with her parents. She was an only child. Her mother was Half-Elf and Half-Demon while her father was a pure Elf. Due to her mother's genes, she inherited her strange eyes and black wings. She was the result of teasing but she ignored it, not caring about it.

Right before she turned 5, her parents had decided to go on a trip with their horses. However, their carriage was attacked by bandits about halfway to their destination. Both her parents were killed in the attack while she was only injured, albeit faking death despite the intense pain in her left leg. The bandits then ran off with all her family's belongings except a necklace, the one she always wears, abandoning her there.

Soon after the incident, a famous circus' caravan passed by and saw the carriage's broken remains, deciding to go investigate. They found little Sunshine there, leg completely red and crying. The circus manager, a human, took her in and effectively adopted her. He quickly noticed that she had forgot her name and that she thought he was her father. After her leg was healed, she requested to be part of the circus, a proposition that her adoptive father accepted happily.

When she reached 8, her father had told her that she was The Colorful Blackbird, even though he called her Sunshine because of her positive attitude. She believed him and thought that it was her name. She had begun training and working out to be part of her father's circus and, surprising him greatly, she seemed to be good at almost everything. Due to this, he decided that she would be the animator when she'd be older, which made her extremely happy.

Getting her "job" at 14, she was instantly popular with the crowd and was very successful at being a circus animator due to her upbeat, cheerful behavior. She alone managed to make more people interested in going to her circus, unknowingly being used by her father to get money. She did all the work while he made lots of profit.

At 15, she started including rhymes in her announcing, which eventually turned into her normal speech after a few months. Her body started developping too, which made men more... attracted to her, in a way. She didn't catch that most of them were perverts but, luckily, her father "protected" her from them.

As the years passed, she attracted more and more people at the circus, making her father richer and richer. She became literally famous because of her flamboyant outfits, her large, puffy black wings, her ability to keep crowds interested with her rhymes and, for men, her silhouette. Eventually, one day, while she was cleaning the whole circus, like she did every month or so, she found a large, white bead and an elaborate fan. Deciding to keep them, she went back to her room and managed to sew the jewel on the cloth around her shoulders to replace a missing bead.

The next day, she was doing her usual announcing, keeping her fan, when, suddenly, everyone just... stopped moving. Everything seemed darker too, just as if the sunshine had been covered by clouds. She stopped talking, or rather, yelling, and looked closely at her colleagues, who now looked like statues. Confused, she went to look outside and saw that everything seemed covered in shadows, making it eerily similar to a graveyard. It was then that she thought about her jewel, maybe it was the reason she wasn't turned to stone?

She finally decided, after some time, that she'd try to find people who had survived the apparent "curse" that had befallen the world and save those who had been hit by it. The Colorful Blackbird then took what she needed and set off to find other survivors, managing to keep a wide smile on her positive attitude.

That's fine, everyone has a social life. wink.gif

DONE.
53 FREAKING PARAGRAPHS.
I OUTDID MYSELF. awesome.gif

Name: Arrynn Kianko

Nickname(s): Kiki and Arry

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Magic: Energy

Crystal Colour: Gold

Appearance: Arrynn Kianko is a rather chunky young woman, being 5"4' and weighing around 241 pounds. Due to her diminutive height for her age, she's often thought to be a teenager, something that annoys her to no end. Her body's shape is fairly round, having a rotund belly and a pair of rather heavy breasts.

Her hair is short, reaching her neck. She's easily recognisable by both her unique body shape and her hair, which is platinum blond. She has a black headband around her forehead to keep her hair up, revealing part of her forehead. Her eyes are of a beautiful amber, making them seem golden. Her face is fairly round, having big cheeks, and she has an almost unnoticeable double chin, which is only seen when she rears her head.

She wears, despite her girth, a crop top, which is a little too small for her. There is a belt above her breasts and a snapped one below them, being unable to buckle it because of her belly. On each side of the upper belt there are white cloths hanging for decoration. The crop top barely manages to cover her breasts when it should go down to the middle of her belly. It is dark green with a bit white around the neck area.

Being a warrior, she wears big metallic gloves that cover her whole arm and shoulder. They are white and yellow. They also serve as shoulderpads. The gloves are fairly heavy, which make her punches more powerful while protecting them. Her left shoulderpad is noticeably bigger and has a golden hue to it due to her putting the jewel she found on it. It's bigger since she's left handed and because it makes her shoulder rams stronger.

For lower wear she has a pair of brown leather shorts which, unsurprisingly, can't be buttoned up. They are rather tight though, so she doesn't care. Her belly hangs a little over them and their tightness makes her large thighs stick out a little. She has short brown leather boots that reach up to half her thick calves. They have criss-crossing white laces too.

She always has her weapons with her. They consist of a battle hammer, which is fairly heavy and always strapped on her back, a longbow with many arrows, which is often strapped next to her battle hammer and an assortment of daggers and short swords that she keeps holstered on her lower back. This shows that she is not to be underestimated and that she's a powerful fighter.

Personality: A clumsy yet proud young woman, Arrynn believes that she's an absurdly powerful warrior. While she is quite powerful, she is not as strong as she thinks, resulting in her getting fed up when proven wrong. However, she knows when to swallow her pride and to help people. She speaks with a noticeable rough accent, frequently removing the "g" in many words, like "removin'" and "thinkin'". She also ignores the "h"s at the start of words, resulting in words like "'ypocrite" and "'im". Further more, "I" and "You" are said as "Ah" and "Ya", respectively. Note: I will write her dialogue like she speaks.

Usually nice, if not a bit rude at times, she's often seen smiling at others. She's kind most of the time and she likes teasing people, albeit not meaning to be rude. She often laughs at other's jokes and tells some herself. She is prone to saying anecdotes too.

As said earlier, she's very clumsy. She often trips on her own feet, roots, rocks or even runs into trees. When fighting, she can also fall down after missing her opponent and even throw her weapon unwillingly. This can be dangerous with her battle hammer and her large curved sword. She tends to aim at the wrong things with her arrows or not being able to shoot it because she dropped it. She's also easy to surprise and scare.

She has a fairly short temper though. She's easy to annoy and/or irritate. Personally insulting her because of her weight or height often results in her losing her temper and ranting to the one who insulted her. Getting mistaken for a teenager also annoys her greatly. If you want to tease her, do it nicely and don't mention her height or weight, except if you want to get beaten up. This is also the only time that she'll be vulgar.

Arrynn hates it when someone laughs at her when she trips, runs into something or the like. She always manages to find an excuse as to why she did that in the first place, even if they aren't really believable most of the time. People asking her lots of question eventually gets on her nerves along with constant noise.

Despite being fairly new at being a warrior, she knows a lot about weapons, as shown by her "mastery" of all her weapons. She is confident in her fighting ability and never backs down from a fight. When not angered, she fights cockily and takes her time to find an opening. However, when angered, she just hits as much as she can, not caring one bit about her personal safety. She also fights with her fists, her large metallic gauntlets helping a lot.

Despite being a little insecure about her weight, she admits and accepts it. She knows how to use it too. She can immobilise people easily, albeit by her own way: sitting on them. This usually works well for interrogations since her target often can't move from under her. The way she sits on them is an important factor too, since she often makes them lose their breath by the way she just collapses on them.

Furthermore, when someone needs to push something, hold something down or keep something from falling, she always volunteers, knowing that she'd have more ease at doing it than others thanks to her weight. Also, despite her clumsiness, she has a lot of balance when she isn't tripping over something. Her strength is greater than most men her age, even though it's not superhuman or anything.

Due to her size though, she has low stamina and, as such, gets tired easily. After running for a short while, no more than 15 seconds, she'll start panting and, eventually, have to stop and catch her breath. This makes her a burden at times since she has to stop often. Fighting has the same problem, after a few minutes she'll be exhausted. Due to this, she often tries to finish fights as fast as possible, knowing her physical limits. On rare occasions, she'll collapse or even faint from exhaustion, especially if she disregards her limits.

In fact, her determination often makes her disregard those physical limits, which usually causes her pain. However, despite her size, she's a wonderful sprinter. If she becomes tired when running, she'll either keep up the pace or break into a jog. After lots of physical efforts, she'll often light-heartedly say that she must've lost weight.

Arrynn is normally fairly active despite getting tired easily. However, she does have moments of laziness. During those fairly rare instances, she'll whine when she has to do something she doesn't want to do instead of just doing it. She'll also ask the ever-annoying question "Why?" whenever she has to do something.

Arrynn has a very large appetite too, which is entirely natural, for her anyways. It's also part of why she looks like she is, her occasional laziness being the other half of the reason as to why she's fat. By herself, she can eat more than 5 grown-up men and still be a bit hungry. This often surprises many people who have never seen her eat and even those who know that she can eat a lot. She adores meat and ultra spicy food.

She's very cautious and careful around strangers, often being downright rude to them. She also has a tendency to spy on strangers that she finds suspicious. She often uses her great climbing ability to spy on them, being able to climb trees easily in a few seconds. While she can climb them quickly, she's known to have problems to go back down, resulting in awkward situations.

She hates being underestimated because of her size, whether it be because of her height or her weight, and will happily prove them wrong by beating them up. She tends to rub her victories in those people's faces just to make it clear that she shouldn't be angered or underestimated.

Despite her girth, Arrynn is still fairly flexible and agile, to an extent. She can do flips and such, albeit with some difficulty and an iffy landing. In fact, she rarely ever lands on her feet when doing acrobatic moves, often resulting in getting teased and laughed at, which, of course, annoys her.

Even though she wouldn't admit it, Arrynn's a hopeless romantic. She often catches herself thinking and wondering if boys would like her for who she is instead of only caring of her appearances, among other things. She often blushes in front of boys she likes, even though she doesn't stutter. Due to her pride, she'll never admit that she likes someone out in the open.

Biography: Arrynn is the daughter of a knight and an innkeeper, her father and mother, respectively. Arrynn mostly grew up with her mother since her father was often out fighting for his city. Her large appetite was already present as a young child, which greatly surprised her mother at first. However, she did a lot of sport, so she didn't gain any weight and kept a healthy lifestyle.

When she reached 5, her father became ill and she stayed at home to help him. Due to that, she had to stop playing outside and, thanks to her large appetite, she started to slowly but surely gain weight, not even noticing. Since her father was too ill to do much and her mom was busy with her job, she was the one who took care of the house during that time. She wanted to be like her mom, so she liked the experience except for the fact that her father was ill.

One year later, her father was relieved of his functions because of his illness. Arrynn still took care of the house and helped her father, which took up most of her time. She still ate a lot because of her natural large appetite and, because she couldn't burn all the calories, she continued gaining weight slowly. Soon, her clothes became too small for her growing body and she had to go buy new ones.

A little while after she turned 7, her mother took a year off to take care of Arrynn's father, meaning that the girl was "free" again. However, she quickly realised that her physical stamina had greatly decreased in two years, meaning that she got exhausted faster and, as such, did less exercise. It was then that she had entered a vicious circle, less exercise meant losing less weight, which, in turn with her large food intake, made her gain weight faster. It did slow it down though.

At around 9, her father's illness became worse and he couldn't get out of bed anymore, being too weak to do so. A few months after that, the local medics informed Arrynn and her mother that her father wouldn't live for long, since the illness was incurable and far too advanced. She was much... rounder at that time too. At the end of that year, two days before her birthday, her father died. She actually cried herself to sleep that night since he died while talking to her.

The day after her father's death, she decided to become a knight and follow his footsteps since, after all, she respected and loved him more than anything else. Her mother, at first, refused that her daughter became a knight, not wanting to lose her too. So, for the first few months, her mother constantly harrassed her about her weight, always saying that it would impede the progress to her goal, if not completely ruin it. This led her to eventually gaining Arrynn's eternal hate since, according to the girl, "No matter how small, big, short or tall someone is, they can always become a successful warrior if they put their heart to it.". Those words were actually her father's motto.

Eventually, her mother gave up and let Arrynn get some knight training. She was the smallest and biggest trainee, which frequently made her the target of bullying and mocking, even by the teacher. Her large appetite also made her being mocked and thought of a trash can for others. However, when the theoric part was finished and it was time to use weapons, Arrynn was shown to have skill in using many weapons, including a battle hammer, which was, and still is, a rare weapon to use, a longbow and many types of swords. She was still getting bigger as time passed though, even though the process had slowed down considerably due to her training.

A few years later, when she was 11, she finally graduated and got to the next level. She was still, much to her dissapointment, the smallest and heaviest trainee. However, people didn't tease when she had her weapons with her, strangely. However, since most of the training was physical, she failed a lot of times, earning her the title of the "Big Fat Failure" by her peers and even the teachers, who hated having her as a student. Arrynn Kikam became a name well-known around the knight school.

She often cried herself to sleep because she thought that everyone hated her, including her mother (which wasn't far from the truth), and that she was a disgrace to her father. No matter how hard she tried, she kept failing the physical tests, who were actually fairly easy for someone normal. However, she was overweight and got exhausted easily, which was the reason that she failed constantly.

One day, when she was 13, she met a boy, Colin Dragheart, who was, of course, younger than her. The boy, surprisingly, was nice with Arrynn and understood why she had trouble. He helped her do the exersices little by little, sometimes comically getting stuck under the large girl. She liked Colin but, the day right before the final exam, he insulted her in every way possible, beat her up and left her for dead in her room. Colin had actually been faking being nice with her only to give her self-confidence so he could crush it and watch her cry. She has never forgiven him and, if she ever sees him, she's bound to fly into a rage.

Being injured, she couldn't even attend the final exam and, as such, failed by default. Whatever remaining from her pride being crushed by getting viciously beaten up by a 8 years old boy, Arrynn fell into the wonderful state of mind that is depression. During this year-long depression, she failed every single exam she took, just not finding the motivation. She even thought about giving it all up.

One night, as she was crying herself to sleep as always, she dreamed of her father, who told not to give up by saying a long, emotional speech before saying his motto: "No matter how small, big, short or tall someone is, they can always become a successful warrior if they put their heart to it.". When Arrynn woke up, her pillows were wet, since she had cried a lot in her sleep. She felt pumped up, her depression gone, and worked out as much as her large bulky body would let her. She then finally passed the graduation test, albeit barely. She was overjoyed and her teacher, who was actually nice to her that year (he was new), offered her a feast to celebrate, where she gorged herself to sleep. She was 16 at that time.

Her next class was learning how to ride a horse. Her teacher, unsurprisingly, was mean with her, just like the rest of her class. She was still the biggest and smallest of her class, even though she was getting used to it by that time. Her classmates, naturally, made fun of her weight and said that she'd need two horses, among other mean jokes. They were even meaner than all the others for some reason.

During an exam, Arrynn had trouble getting on her horse because of her height. A girl gave her a chair to help her get up on her horse. However, when the chubby trainee got on the chair, the girl kicked the chair away, making Arrynn fall down on her neck, almost breaking it. Poor Arrynn had a sore neck for almost two months because of this and, because of that, couldn't take her horse riding lessons. The girl wasn't seen by the teacher so she didn't get in trouble.

When her neck was completely healed, she had to catch up with what she had missed, which was hard for her to learn in a few hours. When came the same exam that she hadn't been able to do, she had trouble getting on her horse once more. The same girl came to help her, passing her a chair again. However, Arrynn knew that she'd do the same thing. When the girl kicked the chair again, Arrynn fell on her, on purpose of course, and broke her arm by doing so. It looked like an accident, so she didn't get in trouble.

She eventually passed the horse riding classes after getting taught of a way for her to get on one easily. Since she had chosen to handle many weapons, she had to choose which one she wanted to learn to use first. She chose the battle hammer. She was the only one who took that weapon, so it was easy for her to pass, even though it impressed her teacher that a small girl like her could even lift that.

She then went to take longbow classes. Of course, all the trainees except her were tall and slim, as expected from an archer. She was laughed at for most of the class, except during the final exam, where the other archers actually encouraged her. She passed the exam easily and was congratulated by everyone else, which made her feel accepted for once.

After a few months long break, she took sword fighting, which was the most populated department of her school. During those classes, she felt very intimidated by the other trainees despite being the oldest, being nearly 19. The other sword fighters were noticeably taller and beefer, even the girls. All she had were her small 5"4' frame and her 203 pounds of fat. The others were all over a foot taller than her and weighed roughly as much as her, albeit with muscles.

Of course, she was teased endlessly by them, both because of her silhouette and because she only had short swords. Much to her dismay, much of the class was sparring. She had lots of trouble and was considered the easiest one to defeat. One day, she had to fight the strongest girl of the class as part of an exam.

Unsurprisingly, the girl kept taunting her. Eventually getting fed up with being taunted by her, she snapped, letting out all the pent-up anger she had accumulated throughout the years at the same time. She fought the tall and strong girl at full power, fueled by rage. The girl was surprised at first and was caught off guard.

The fight lasted a good ten minutes, the two girls trading blows and having strength fights with clashing swords. After a while, despite being throughly exhausted, she managed to make the girl fall, instinctively jumping on the girl's chest, making her lose her breath and starting to choke her under her weight, while holding one of her swords towards her throat, menacing to kill her opponent. Luckily for the girl, Arrynn passed out from exhaustion before she could kill her.

When Arrynn woke up the next morning, her teacher was next to her. She was all well, albeit a bit hungry. Her teacher told her that she had passed the exam thanks to her "amazing" fight. Arrynn couldn't believe that she had actually passed the exam. She thanked her teacher and woke herself up before taking her next class, unarmed fighting.

Naturally, she was still the one that got teased. However, she was actually good in that class, quickly becoming the best of her class, surprisingly. This didn't change that she was teased, although they didn't go too far, fearing that she'd beat them up. It was around that time that Arrynn started getting prideful and full of herself. She passed that class easily.

Then came her last class, horseback fighting. Surprisingly, she passed that class easily, even though one boy kept teasing her to the point of making her snap almost everyday. When she passed, she happily knocked the boy out and locked him in an empty room as revenge. Now a full-fledged knight, just like her father, she went back to see her mother. She was now a young woman full of pride and enthusiasm, as opposed to the depressed young girl she was when she left.

However, she wasn't there because she had missed her mother; she was there to show that, despite her weight problem, she was able to become a knight. Her mother refused to believe it at first, of course. She was more surprised of how her daughter had changed though. When Arrynn had left, she barely was 3" high and weighed 60 pounds. Now, she was 5"4' and she weighed near 220 pounds. After her short meeting, she quickly left her mother, still bearing a blazing hatred towards her. Her new self had left her mother speechless, literally, much to her pleasure. Her short reunion with her mother was near her 20th birthday.

A month after that event, a little after she turned 20, she met someone that she never wanted to meet again: Colin Dragheart. Upon seeing her, Colin immediately recognised her as that "Fat Girl" and started insulting her. Quickly, a fight broke out between the two right there, in the middle of the street. Arrynn, despite her efforts, couldn't defeat the much more powerful, fit and younger Colin. The portly knight collapsed from exhaustion a few minutes after the fight started and Colin left her there, not considering her worthy of him. This angered Arrynn to the point of crying tears of rage.

After that day, she met Colin many times and was knocked out or defeated by him each time she saw him, angering her more and more each time. While Colin only thought of her as a weakling unworthy of him, she thought of him as an obstacle to surpass. Everytime she lost to him, it made her angrier and angrier at him and herself for not being able to win. Even when she tried putting large, heavy gloves (which she kept with her afterwards).

She didn't meet Colin again for a long while, allowing her to serve her superiors, just like her father did. One day though, a while after she turned 21, while she was out in a nearby forest, taking a casual walk, she tripped over something, which didn't surprise her at first. However, when she saw what she had tripped over, she was intrigued. Why would a big, golden jewel be in the middle of a forest? She looked at it, having to hold it in both her hands because of its size. She tested its solidity by throwing it around and, when she saw that it was very solid, she decided to put it on her left shoulderpad.

She went to see the local blacksmith to do that, and he did after she payed him a large sum of money. He put it on her left shoulderpad and she tried ramming into something with it, in this case, a wall. The wall had a small crack in it after she did. Happy that she had found it, she went to get lunch, for it was early it in the morning.

A bit after she ate, everything suddenly became colder and darker. Confused, she went outside and looked around, seeing that everything seemed to be... dead and grey. People were now mere lifeless statues and trees were all bended and twisted, not even looking like trees anymore. She went to look around before coming to the realisation that she was all alone. She decided to go out of town and figure out what happened, not even wondering why she wasn't transformed into a statue.

On her way out, she saw Colin's statue. Getting an idea, she grabbed his lifeless stony self and climbed a random house and shoved him head first in a chimney, making sure he'd be stuck. When she was sure he would have a hard time getting out when, and if, he'd be back to normal, she walked slowly down the roof only for it to give in under her weight, making her fall directly on a table with food on it. Not able to resist, she ate and then marched off to find other people that weren't transformed into statues, making sure she had all her weapons with her.

Amusing fact: The biography alone is bigger than the Colorful Blackbird's entire profile. XD
