I was curious as to how one obtains a Pokii Egg. Obviously you can't breed them (or can you) so in which ways can such an egg be obtained?

Yes, you can breed Pokii. Like all novelties, it will mostly produce non-novelty children (in Pokii's case, genderless Pineco). But rarely it will produce Pokii children, and you can use Novel Power in the Pass Powers section of the shop to force a Pokii egg to be produced.
