The New Ash, Who do you like better?

So yay! Gen VII is finally released... but again, you know my opinion on the games. Some Pokémon designs and names are good, but some are just plain stupid. Even some characters' names suck too. I made a post reviewing all the Pokémon, but the list has never been finished.

But it's not just the games! The anime seems to have had some kind of downfall as well. Mainly with the design and appearance of the series' famed and beloved main character, Ash.

So this is what he looks like in the most recent complete series, XY.

and then his Gen VII anime appearance.

Is it just me, or have his eyes shrunk? How come Pikachu doesn't notice that his owner seems weird?

i think every ash is wonderful. and the art style in sumo is adorable and super fluid. not sure what everybody's complaining about, tbh.
