http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n187/bo...gler/Files1.png http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n187/bo...gler/Files2.png Replay has one replay in it (those save), BGM just has the BGM in it, and html has a bunch of game stuff I don't know about. Alright, the differences between our files are your original cfg and CM/ED/IN/MD/ST/TL DAT files that go with the non-english-patched .exe (mine must've been replaced the english-patched ones; was yours already pre-patched?) as well as the html folder (I doubt that's the problem; it probably just has links to sites). I would suggest moving these files outside the folder (look for what comes right after the icon): cfg, CM.DAT, ED.DAT, IN.DAT, MD.DAT, ST.DAT, TL,DAT There doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with it. If this doesn't work, try downloading from a different mirror, and see if it works. -------------------- |

Only thing about Embodiment, though; my data doesn't save. Solution? May I ask what you mean when you say it doesn't save? What exactly doesn't save? High Scores, Extra Stage Unlock? The only issue I've had is that whenever I set it to play in windowed mode, it crashed, but it was an easy fix. Other than that, though, it runs fine for me. I've unlocked all twelve levels in Double Spoiler. All that's left is the Extra level and the Spoiler level. 45 scenes cleared so far, and only two don't have Gold Cameras. They're 5-1 (Ichirin's first scene) and 6-2 (Suika's first scene). I've managed to clear every scene in the first four levels. I've decided to take a break from it for now and play some Hisoutensoku. I dug out the palette editor I downloaded for it, and I've been making some palettes. -------------------- Groups (click to show ) Personality Quizzes (click to show ) Friend Codes & Other Stuff (click to show ) *Rotating avatar made possible by Zerxer's randimg website.*- Links - - DeviantArt - - YouTube - - |

Removed those files (still have them elsewhere though), trying now. I'll let you know in an edit how it goes. And yeah, when I downloaded it I had it pre-patched.
The only thing that saves are Replays. Nothing else saves; High Scores, Extra Stage, etc. EDIT: All right, it saves. Thanks guys! This post has been edited by Kirbyfan66: Feb 5 2012, 04:03 PM -------------------- |

Although I'm still wondering what it was causing it. Guess it really doesn't matter now that it works, though. I haven't played Touhoumon in a long time. I can't even remember what all I had or how far I was. I'll have to check later. I've never attempted a Nuzlocke run before, though. Good luck on yours, Kirbyfan! -------------------- Groups (click to show ) Personality Quizzes (click to show ) Friend Codes & Other Stuff (click to show ) *Rotating avatar made possible by Zerxer's randimg website.*- Links - - DeviantArt - - YouTube - - |

The last one I played was World Link, which is based on Emerald, and there's a super special area near the beginning for you music fans (like me :3333)!!! -------------------- |

I have five Touhou and none of them can do squat against Ground or Rock types. All I can do right now is grind or spam Thief (or Thundershock if it works) and pray Marisa doesn't faint. Stuck on grinding for a while...

Alright, go to the Viridian Forest and catch a Chibi Star Sapphire. Grind it until it has some decent Water type moves, and PWN Brock.
EDIT: I forgot this is a Nuzlocke challenge, so that might be illegal for the challenge... This post has been edited by SoMaPoKiTo: Feb 6 2012, 05:22 PM -------------------- |

Yeah, exactly... I have two Electric types, one Ground type, a Fire type, and a Normal/Flying. I wish I was allowed past that annoying kid who keeps telling me to face Brock! Grinding it is, then...
Thankfully, due to save states, I can start another runthrough and do that one regularly. Thinking of doing that so I'm not just grinding all day. -------------------- |

All right, so I got Marisa to Level 15 and all of my others to Level 10 or 11. AND IT STILL ISN'T ENOUGH. WHY, BROCK ;_;
Yeah, definitely gonna start another one for a non-Nuzlocke run and go back to the Nuzlocke one on occasion. Should make things more fun! -------------------- |

Oh dear... Touhou Project, Touhoumon, and Touhouvania are some of the most oddly addicting games ever.
For the main project/games themselves, they're honestly just fun to play through. Even though I'm horrible at anything beyond "Normal" difficulty (Fujiwara no Mokou and Flandre seem to be the only two I can manage when it comes to Extra stage mode. Even then... MY EYES. Good lord, there is always a ton going on on the screen. Don't even get me started on Marisa in 8, or even the Extra stage boss in 13 :| ). They're interesting pattern games in the least, and it's always fun playing a new game to see how one can move through everything. Touhoumon is again an interesting and fun little time waster of a game It's Pokemon and Touhou... what more is there to ask for? Haha. I haven't tried out the more... intense, I guess, versions of the game, but might save those for a later date when there's time to play them. Touhouvania sports some of the most gorgeous anime styled artwork that I have seen in a long while. Just. Saying. -------------------- ~*~*~ My DeviantArt Page: DizzyClockwork ~*~*~ Commissions: Closed Requests: Sorry, not taking requests right now. Gifts: When I have the time. |

After I try out the other games in the main series (desperately wanting to) I'll probably try out games like Touhouvania and Mega Mari. Mega Mari's concept by itself is just incredible.

Of all the main games, Mountain of Faith is the only one I've beaten the Extra stage on (and that because of the bug with MarisaB). I'm not really good at them. I play better on the fighting games (Immaterial & Missing Power, Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, and Hisoutensoku), with Hisoutensoku being my favorite.
I haven't played much of the Touhoumon games. I've played World Link, and it's pretty good. It takes a lot for me to really get into them, though. I'll make a list of the other ones I've played: Touhou Sky Fight - A simple concept, stay in the air and don't get hit. Has Netplay. Touhou Sky Arena - An aerial fighter. Not enough characters to choose from though. Also has Netplay. Danmakufu - I love this one. You can make your own levels, bosses, and even playable characters. New Super Marisa Land - Super Mario styled platforming with Marisa as the playable character. I love it. MegaMari - I didn't like this one, but I never played the Megaman games either, so... Touhou Labyrinth - A Touhou dungeon crawler. It's a pretty fun game, though I'm not very far in it. Mystical Chain - I haven't played a lot of this one. It's a platforming fighter game. Touhou Moedan - An adorable game that is meant to be a tutorial for the Touhou games. You play as Flandre (who also acts as the teacher). Don't know of any English patches, though... I've probably played more. Though this is all I can think of off the top of my head. -------------------- Groups (click to show ) Personality Quizzes (click to show ) Friend Codes & Other Stuff (click to show ) *Rotating avatar made possible by Zerxer's randimg website.*- Links - - DeviantArt - - YouTube - - |

I like Mega Man (although Legends is my favorite and that's the least Mega Man of them all =P), so Mega Mari seems great. Haven't played it yet, but yeah. Fair does, nonetheless.
Played Embodiment some more. Still great fun and I'll likely download the next game tomorrow~ -------------------- |

I've just never gotten around to DiY Death Traps yet :P Maybe if I get some time (Sakuya, I can haz tiem staupz? *knifed*), I can download this and...you know the rest (Muahahaha!!!) -------------------- |

Relatively soon I'm going to download 2 or 3 more Touhou games. I'm sure I'll have a blast and I'll let you guys know how it goes!
Also, on my Nuzlocke run on Touhoumon Merry, I lose my first Touhou (second one I caught, a CChen). I was upset. -------------------- |
