With Fable 2 almost among us, I thought a thread about the series is due.

I recently picked up Fable: The Lost Chapters at Gamestop. It's a pretty good RPG but the camera's kinda meh. Also, sometimes the game doesn't do what I want it to do. Like I wanted to examine something, and it made me sleep in a bed.

So discuss the Fable series.

I got Fable: The Lost Chapters about 6 months ago. It's a great game. Loads of options to customise your guy, and chosing wether he becomes good or bad is awesome. The combat system is also great. It's easy enough to beat regular enemies quickly, but against more challenging oponents you have to use roll and blocks. Plus, your character looks awesome whilst doing this, especially when he's got a massive sword. My only major critisms is that when your wandering around the world, you have to stick to a very rigid path, which kinda contrdicts the whole free choice philosohy of the game. Also, compared to a lot of games, the world is really quite small.

yeah, although i don't have the Lost Chapters, I do have the original for XBOX and when I get a 360 I'm planning to get the second. What I like about 2 is taht its even more free roam and that you can hop fences! You can also change to a guy or girl. ;D

I was reading the wikipedia page on Fable 2 and it sounds really cool. Unfortunatly, I'm going to have to wait until it comes out on PC cuase I don't have a X-Box 360.

360's prices are dropped, so you could get a 20 gb 360 for the same price as a Wii, or get a 60 gb for 50$ more.

Does anyone know if Fable 2 is local and/or online? I know online is confirmed, but I don't know about local play...

Fable 2 is Local, i think it's splitscreen drop in, drop out. But i'm confused wether you play as your own hero because there is all this stuff about henchmen.

Wow, Fable 2 looks so cool. It almost made me want to get a 360 instead of a Wii for Christmas, but I'll probably just wait for them to make Lost Chapters thing for Fable 2 on the PC. Anyone know if they've given any details about a PC release?

*Bumping this topic to discuss Fable 2*

I've had the game since Christmas, but I only started playing it last week. I beat it once as an evil mage. Since I didn't know the affects of pies, my character now resembles Rosie O Donell

I've started again as a Hero, and it's a lot better. People don't scream when they see me This time I plan on avoiding will and focusing on Skill and Strength.

I have all the Fable games.
-The first was a great game for the Xbox.
-The 2nd game was kind of good, but it could be better.
-The 3rd was simply bad in my eyes. The biggest problem might be the fact that they really over simplified the game and removed all of the RPG elements. Also, the immature sense of humour it has is kind of unbearable. Will sell it in the future.

I have only played the first one...... I really liked all of the choices... My only problem with the game was the fact the world was SO small and when you used spells/will you got a lot older.....

I bought Fable: Lost Chapters in GAME a few weeks ago. My friend is obsessed with the series and I saw it for a mere £10. Can't say fairer than that.
So, got home, installed it, tried to play.

Whoops, graphics card is incompatible.
Everything is textureless and slow. Bah. Replacement time.
But what I did play was really good. The story looks to be pretty decent, and it definitely has a lot of quirkiness, a factor I enjoy in my games. I mean, the Merchant and your father alone are pretty quirky characters, and the medieval British accent makes me chuckle.

The camera seems a little dodgy but the combat is pretty smooth, from what I can tell. Once I get things sorted I'll be happy.

I have Fable and fable 2. They are a good games for the xbox and xbox360. I have beat the Fable And I also beat Fable 2 game. I can't wait for Fable 3 it's so awesome for the Xbox360. It is so hard to be a Evil in Fable 2. It is easy being Good in Fable 2. Fable 2 game has a very good story line in the game.It is hard to chose being good or evil in the game for the fable 2 game. I love Fable 2 game can go online or off line in the game with one or two players in the game. Fable 1 game also has a good story line in the game.

FABLE <3333333333

The Fable series is absolutely amazing, and I cannot wait for Fable 3 to come out. Fable 2 was epic, so I have high hopes for 3.

I love the Fable 2 "expansions". Especially the new hair and dyes, haha. My lady was super tall and super buff with neon purple dreds and a pink outfit including hotpants, those thigh high boots, and the maurauder's coat or something. haha it's great

I have Fable 2 and I can't wait till Fable 3 comes out. Fable 2 is a good game, although, I wish that they had better clothes to choose from.

I've been playing Fable 2 all weekend. My cousin got Fable 3 for Christmas and says that it's awesome and my dad gonna buy it when the price drops.

I absolutely love this game. Kicking chickens and turning evil. I have played both one and two there are aspects of both which I love like the dog from 2 and the armor from one. I also love the clothes customization. I do not like the girl character hero so I always choose the male. Also Hannah the Hammer rocks hard core that damn white balverine song gets stuck in my head when I think of her. Also the demon doors hilarious and the gargoyles.
