Ocean rolled over. She groaned. Getting hit with his side was hard. "Are you made of metal or something?" she asked growling. Faith smiled. "Ocean another Powder Snow! Now!" she yelled confidently. Ocean raised her head and repeated her attack shoving a blast of cold powdery snow and the bird. It flowed on him softly but the attack was strong. "Hoot." Ocean said giggling slightly.

"Good girl." Faith mumbled. A couple more hits and he should be down... she thought taking a breath. Faith knew Tanya might be panicking, as most first battle experiences were. This probably wasn't her first but she probably hasn't done many either. Maybe I'll take it a little easier? But she'll have a large advantage with Mareep. So for now... "Keep up the good work Ocean!" she said eager.

Ocean grinned. "How's it feel Hoothoot? Lovely right?" she said smiling. Ocean could get competitive when needed and right now that was how she felt. Ocean clapped her flippers together letting out a happy yell. She rolled for a second then got up again. Realizing what she was doing was rude. She stopped herself and frowned. "Shame on you Ocean...bragging is not nice." she whispered to herself.

Curlz sighed she begged to see the battle. "Oh well...I might be able to be brought out again...hopefully." she said sighing.

[Vincent Valentin...]

Hoothoot did not grace Ocean's remark with an answer, only shuddered violently with the force of the Powder Snow attack. His fatigue shown through as he panted heavily, he wasn't sure if they knew but he sure did, another hit like that and he'd be done for sure.

Tanya cast a worried glance at her deteriorating Pokemon, biting her nail unconsciously. pausing for a moment. Spheal...what type of Pokemon is Spheal....? She was sure that she had seen a Spheal or two back home...where were they? In the water.....in the water, that's it! Spheal must of been a Water Pokemon.

"So that means...." Tanya said firmly, pausing. Her eyes glinting with newfound courage. "Good job Hoothoot, return!"

With a flash of the red light, Hoothoot disappeared back into the darkness of the black capsule. She put the ball back into her pack and exchanged it for a ball that looked similar, but with a different coloration. It seemed like a normal Pokeball, red on the top with a silver seal and white on the bottom.

"Mareep, take the field!" The capsule opened and let forth a small, fluffy creature with a bulb at the end of her tail. The Pokemon brayed, electricity pulsing through her body.

Ocean frowned. Her eyes widened. "Oh no..." Faith hesitated. But covered it up with a smile. She withdrew Ocean and sent out Curlz. "Go Curlz!" she said grabbing another Poke-ball and pressing the button, letting the red beam shine brightly. Curlz landed on the floor with a bounce. "Iggly!" she took stand and smiled. "Okay Curlz, use Sing!" Faith said pointing her finger, nowhere specific but just for the 'effect'. Curlz stepped forward and clenched her hands together beginning to sway back and forth. She sang lightly and with wonderful harmony. "La la la la la~" she sang eyes shut.

Ocean listened to the song. Beautiful it is. Let's hope Mareep listens to it... she said biting her flipper. "Maybe I can talk Faith into getting me a bigger Poke-ball...this one is crowded." Ocean said to herself sighing.

Faith watched Curlz sing. She was hoping Mareep would listen to the song so she'd doze off. Faith would have to figure out what to do afterwords though Curlz didn't know a lot of attack Moves and Ocean's moves wouldn't be good on Mareep. Shooter maybe? No. He'd be out too fast and at such low level. Poor Charmander... Faith thought biting her lip. "Well whoever wins wins." she said to herself. Pasting a smile back on her face. "Lets do this!"

[Vincent Valentin...]

Mareep yawned deeply, not being able to avoid the attack. She slowly knelt on her knees, yellow wool covering up her legs as if they were never there. She wrapped her tail around her body, laying the triangular head down on the flooring and closed her eyes.

"M-..Mareep!" Tanya called as the sheep dwindled into slumber. Tanya could even feel herself falter, somewhat succumbing to the effects of sing. "You have to get up!"

Mareep did not reply, rather, her eyes remained shut. And if anything, her snoring only got louder.

Faith smiled. "Perfect." she knew the effect would only last for so long since Mareep was double Curlz's level. Faith withdrew Curlz and sent out Ocean. "Okay Ocean use Water Gun!" she said. It won't be very effective but at least it will do some damage. Faith thought sighing lightly. Ocean opened her mouth and let a blast of water cover the sleeping Mareep. It didn't do much but it did an okay amount of damage.

Ocean smiled. "Good job Ocean." she said to herself in a reassuring way. Ocean smiled and pressed her flippers against her chest letting out a happy yelp. "Spheeal!" she said happily. Ocean awaited Mareep to open her eyes and pop up with a powerful electric attack. She cleared her throat, blinked, and waited silently.

[Vincent Valentin...]

The dampness of Mareep's wool reached down to the roots, jolting her awake from prior slumber. It was a sweet nap, though all the more annoying to be awoken in such a manner. With a drowsy bray, she shifted onto her feet, shaking herself dry. "Maaa~"

Tanya seemed relieved to see Mareep awaken, putting her hand over her chest in thought. "Okay Mareep. If your ready then I am too!" With a squeak of response from her Pokemon, Tanya motioned with her hand. "Great! Lets try a Thundershock!"

The bulb at the end of Mareep's tail began to glow white, pulsating with charges of electricity as it overtook her body. She discharged the energy, bolts of electricity pulsating and snaking their way towards Ocean. If she could hit her mark, Ocean most likely wouldn't last.

Oceans' eyes got wide. "Oh no." she started backing up squeaking in a scared manor. "Aah!" she shrieked as the large shock of thunder hit her body. She felt herself weakening. Her health decreased greatly and Ocean fell. She fainted.

Faith withdrew Ocean. She brought out Shooter. He was the only other Pokemon in her party that had moves that cause damage. Shooter stumbled onto the floor and bounced on his tail. "Ack!" he replied rolling over his head. "Ow..." Faith looked at Mareep and sighed. Shooters' move Scratch won't do much...It'll only cause some damge but at least it's doing something. she thought biting her lip.

"Okay Shooter use Scratch!" she said confidently. Shooter stood up and ran over to the Mareep, using his claws to to scratch at the skin beneath her wool. Shooter then turned and ran back to his spot. Seeing such little damage done he frowned and began to sniffle at his horrible attempt at an attack.

Faith saw Shooter and knelt down. From where she was he probably could hear her if he tried. "Shooter!" she whispered, staring at him. "You did great! That was a wonderful attack." She smiled as he walked over. She patted him on the head and then sent him back out.

"Charmander!" Shooter said, spirits lifted. He smiled and then stopped as he wondered what would happen next.

[Vincent Valentin...]

Mareep didn't think that Ocean would of fainted so easily. She must of taken some damage before she was even brought out. The sheep cringed slightly as Shooter's claws raked across her, jumping back slightly as he went directly for the skin and easily got through the wool. It hadn't done too much, but it was damage and still stung.

"It's alright Mareep, hang in there!" Tanya encouraged, maybe she could turn this battle around after all. She wasn't sure if Thundershock would do too much Shooter, and decided to use a different approach. "Okay then, lets try a Tackle attack!"

Mareep shook herself, some wool had been literally scraped off from the prior attack. She ran forward, full throttle. Her head bowed so that her horns were showing and awaited impact with Shooter. "Maaaa!"

[Mrs Snape]

Alice's shoes whent 'Click clack' across the tile of the Inn. Her red hair covored her eyes as she went up to the desk where the woman greeted her. Alce slapped down the money and said "Give me the best room you can... Take all this..." she pushed the load of money forwords "And forget the name and Pokemon." the Woman nodded and gave Alice the key to her room. Alice's Lucario followed his trainer "COme on, Silver, there's no time to loose" Silver, as the Lucario was called, grunted with a nod. The two finally got into the room; it was painted purple, and had little pichu's dancing around the room. The chairs looked like Elektakid, and the bed looked like a big, sleeping Lugia. Alice Shrugged... It would have to do.

Shooter shrieked "AAH!" he ran around in circles until the charging Mareep hit him with a 'BAM'! He did a couple backward rolls and then landed on his back. He got up weary and weak. Faith bit her lip. She dug through her bag and grabbed a potion. She sprayed it around Shooter and watched his health replenish as he began to regain some color.

"Char Char!" he replied sitting down. Shooter then shot up. "Mareep! There aw other Pokeemons here too!" he said leaping. "Can we go say hii?" he asked the sheep. "I sense them!" he replied placing his hands on his hips. Puffing out his chest. "I smell good right?" he asked, trying to ask her if his smelling technique was good.

[Mrs Snape]

Silver heaved a sigh as he walked through the hallways. He turned around a corner and saw the other pokemon. He stayed calm and begain walking past them, just trying to find where he could get Alice a snack.

[Vincent Valentin...]

"Your doing good, Shooter." Mareep purred, smiling over at him. She shifted her head, looking around as she too sensed the Pokemon. "We can greet them later. Right now, I think our first priority is to finish this battle. For our trainers sake, I suppose."

Tanya did not issue a command as she inspected the Pokemon on the field who were looking in other directions and clearly conversing. She looked up at Faith with an inquisitive look, but said nothing.

[Mrs Snape]

Silver walked into the nex room. Then he appeared again, only this time, with a candy bar in his paw. He dissapeared into the next hallway and unlocked Alice's room, opened the door, and stepped insdie. All of Alice's Pokemon were spread about the room, rather exited on there new place to stay.
The Lucario gave his owner the Candy bar and smiled meekly. He thenturned to the others "Come on, Lets go explore. As new as it is.. I saw other pokemon.. I think we will like it here." Alice motioned her Pokemon out the door, munching on the chocolate. She took the key from Silver and strung it, hanging it aroun dher neck for safe keeping.


Silver the Lucario, Shadow the Pikachu, Soar the Flygon, Hurricane the Salemence, Suki the Shiney Ninetales, and Thunder the Jolteon, all marched in a stright line down the hallways. Thunger growled "I wish our room had a Jolteon" She sent little sparks out of her fur. Hurricane hissed and looked at Thunder "Oh, Shuddup! You know it would be good if we all had a picture of our breed on the walls... But there isn't... so deal with it." Thunder made a veary Girly huff, and didn't talk again. Finaly all Six pokemon arrived to the battling ground sof the other pokemon. They all found a seat and sat down, watching th eBattle with interest. Soar giggled "I could do better" Shadow growled "Shuddup! They are working hard, Soar!" The Pikachu glowered at the slightly angry Flygon. Silver just watched the battle as Suki looked at Him "What are you thinking, Silver...?" the Lucario didnt answer.

[Vincent Valentin...]

Tanya watched in amazement as all six Pokemon came marching in at once. This must of been the Pokemon that Mareep and Shooter were sensing. Now that they were here and their curiosity would be quelled, she new she could finish up the battle. However, in the mean time, she knew Hoothoot could work on his social skills....

She pulled out the black Pokeball with the gold trim and red band that laced around the top and threw it, a red beam shooting out to reveal the tiny Owl Pokemon onto the sidelines. "Why don't you go say hello to everyone over there?" Tanya giggled, patting Hoothoot back to usher him towards the large group.

She turned back toward the battlefeild, starting to focus again. "Okay Mareep, lets try another Thundershock then!" Mareep wasted no time in responding as her body began to charge up again with electricity, shooting the bolts toward Shooter at her full potential.

Meanwhile, Hoothoot warily fluttered towards the group of Pokemon. Large, red orbs scanning them with interest. They were so much bigger then the other Pokemon he had encountered so far. And as far as he could tell, they were strong one's to boot. "Who are you?" Hoothoot demanded, despite his size, his voice rang with authority.

[Mrs Snape]

Thunder's head flicked to the Hoothoot. A smiled emerged in her face. Now standing, the Jolteon walked over to the Hoothoot. She sat down infront of him "I'm Thunder.." She bowed her head and then looked at her friends. The Jolteon held up a paw and beagin pointing it at eatch Pokemon as she spoke their names. First her paw pointed to the Flygon "That there is Soar... One of the most goofyest Pokemon I know." Her voice was sassy... in a odd way, but you could tell she was trying to be polite. Her paw scanned over to Hurricane "That Salemence is Hurricane.. beleaves hinself to be leader, he does." her paw skimmed to pointing to Shadow "The Pikachu is Shadow." her paw moved to Suki "Thats Suki. One of the bravest girls I know." them her paw hesitated... but it skimmed now to the Lucario "That there is Silver. He is the real leadre of the group. Most powerfull, too." She smiled "But that 'aint veary important.". Thunder smirked and went over, taking her seat Again.

[Vincent Valentin...]

Hoothoot looked each and every Pokemon over that Thunder pointed out, the crimson eyes staring deep into each Pokemon as if identifying their very souls. "I see..." He said slowly, rapidly replacing the right foot he was standing on with his left one. "I've really no choice to greet you, as my trainer wishes it. And not like I care or anything..." Hoothoot continued on spitefully, closing his round eyes. "But why are you here?"

[Mrs Snape]

Thunder Grinned "ahh! Yes, My owner.. eh, whats her name.. Oh yes! Alice, my- ehem.. OUR Owner, Just got a room here. Finding that she was too strong for the Efour." the Jolteon giggled, gleefuly. "If your trainer want's a one-on-one battle with Alice, then I'll call her!" Without a answer, Thunder lifted her head and sent out a long, moarnful, howl.



Alice swung the door open, and slammed it shut. She paced to where all her pokemon were. She saw the two trainers. One with a Mereep, one with a charmander. She smiled and flicked the red hair out of her eyes... oh, reader, thos eeys were amazing. No one, not even a pokemon, can forget them. That light chocolate brown mixed with the sweet, pitch black puple. Thunder ran up to Alice and Jumped up onto her trainer's chest... happy barking emmiting from her jaws, sparks shooting from her fur "Ok, ok. Thunder, You want a battle, dont you?" Alice had a way with Pokemon. It seemed as if she could read their minds. As if she could hear every word they were saying. Her head turned to Tanya "I think my Jolteon wants to battle with your strongest Pokemon."

[Vincent Valentin...]

Tanya blinked, straightening up and looking towards the new trainer. "Well, I would if I could, but I'm kinda in the middle of a battle right no-"

"I'll take you one myself!" Hoothoot trumpeted, his feathers fluffing up to their fullest. He wasn't sure if Alice could understand him, humans were such primitive species when it came to speech. His eyes slanted, looking towards Thunder. His eyes filled with determination.

Tanya smiled slightly. "It looks like Hoothoot really wants to battle you though.."

[Mrs Snape]

Thunder's eyes brightened. As well did Alice, she could see by the way Hoothoot fluffed his feathers that he was ready to battle "Then it is!" She said outloud "Eatch Pokemon will use their own moves on their own." Thunder barked happily and raced to one end of the room "ready!?" She shouted at her new Friend, Hoothoot. Alice walked over to her other Pokemon and sat down next to them, Rubbing the fur around on Suki's head.


Thunder barked "The move is your's first!". She was hopping around, showing she was in pure glee to battle again.

[Vincent Valentin...]

Hoothoot made his way at the opossite side of Thunder, not even bothering to supress his laughter. She was spunky, that was for sure. But what advantage did he have over an Electric Pokemon? He could see Tanya cast worry glances over at him, it was clear that by him doing this that she had one less Pokemon to use while fighting Faith. "Alright."

Good luck to you then, Tanya. Hoothoot gave his sincere thoughts of encouragement.

His mind immediately focused back onto the impending battle. He whistled softly, trying to get Thunder's attention. "Why don't you look over this way, sweetie?" Hoothoot soothed, his crimson eyes glowing an even brighter shade of red as his Hypnosis started to do take affect. If she could just look him in the eyes, then just maybe..
