There are eight kingdoms on the planet of Zephral. Each kingdom is governed by a monarch with a direct lineage to the first creatures of which each kingdom consists of. These eight kingdoms worship four deities: Aquans, Erthys, Flaemis, and Aeros. One day, the monarchs of the kingdoms of the nightwalkers and fallen received visions from the fire deity, Flaemis, claiming that their destruction was fast approaching. Jumping to conclusions far too quickly, the two kingdoms allied themselves and declared war on the remaining six kingdoms out of fear. The six kingdoms then retaliated and all hell broke loose, resulting in the defeat of the two kingdoms.
200 years later, war threatens the peace of the eight kingdoms once more, as the kingdoms of the Fallen, Nightwalkers, and now Beasts have started plotting their revenge. Out of sympathy, the four deities have blessed a chosen few from each kingdom in order to stop the war before it starts.

When picking powers, make sure they match their deity. If you get stuck, refer to the Avatar: The Last Air Bender or The Legend of Kora Series, as their "bending" is similar.
If your character is a human-creature hybrid, they belong to the kingdom that corresponds with their creature half. Creature-creature hybrids (werepyres, for example) belong to the Beast Kingdom

Personality/bio: Kazuma is a smart, pansexual half-raven demon who hates his human form. He never knew his father and his mother was always too sick for him to get to know her well. She died the day after he turned 13.
Magic/other: Kazuma can control the wind, as well as summon ravens. However, because he is a half demon, he turns human during the three days surrounding the full moon. In his human form, he cannot freely summon ravens and his wind magic is greatly limited (he couldn’t use it at all had Aeros not blessed him). He uses a pair of sais during that time.

Personality/bio: somewhat socially insecure kitsune with a big heart. He’ll never betray his allies if he can help it, and has a bad habit of using himself as a shield. He never knew his kitsune parents, though. He was raised by a couple of humans who treated him more as a pet than a son. He ran away when he was 12 in search of his biological parents, with the collar around his neck as his only lead.
Magic/other: being blessed by Flaemis, Lucian can control fire, though not very well. He keeps a pair of gloves with him that help him not only control his magic but also help him utilize his claws and fists in hand-to-hand combat. He also keeps a set of shurikens with him.

Appearance: a pure black dragon with a celestial shape on forehead, Large black wings cloaked in flames, has 4 tail spikes, The smaller ones are flaming also, a dark black thunderbolt scar on the tail, sometimes a little fire will come from it
Personality/bio: His personality is very loyal when he trusts you which is rare due to an incident to do with Humans and the 7 other kingdoms giving him a scar on hos tail looking like a dark black thunderbolt.
Magic/other: is able to shoot the flaming spikes from tail, and they will grow back, Able to breath Fire, Body parts will slowly regenerate unless its the flaming spikes

Yeah, phoenixes are beasts, and there's no limit to the amount of characters in the same kingdom, though I'd rather it be somewhat spaced out. Like, I'd prefer 2s and 3s in each kingdom instead of 0s in one and 8 in another.

I've chosen now. Gargoyle. {owo} The nostalgicness of it just screamed 'Choose Me'. XD Lanyc, Possibly Lanyc Flinn, is a beaked Gargoyle with angel wings... Because the pics I found looked cool, even though bat wings are more awesome. XD Don't know what kind of powers he should have, though. If earthy, than perhaps his 'Stone By Day' thing that all Gar's have will mean he's able to move around in this form. Though, he could also be granted a Human form, perhaps... With illusion magic. XD

Gar's are difficult here, due to their Stone Cycle, but I plan on making that work.
Hmm... Maybe regeneration abilities, where he'll restore himself at night when all the pieces are there [very tiny pieces not necessary?] and then astral projection during this time... in which all he can do is be talk and be seen [possibly only by chosen?].

I have a friend that has a gargoyle character in another RP I'm in (different site though). He has this thing where the guy looks human but everything under his skin is stone-like (the character still bleeds though) and every wound the character gets scabs over as stone. Granted, the character was human and then got cursed by the gargoyle (complicated plot line, too lazy to write it out) but I thought the concept was cool. I'd let you copy that concept, though it'd probably go along better with a human-gargoyle hybrid than a full gargoyle.

I'm making two character's now. Justyn Echo, the plant specialist human. :P Also, I think I like illusions for Lanyc, but it's depend on your answer above for his powers. Though, human form in the day is awesome, too. Hmm...

Think of being blessed as an off shoot of Avatar: The Last Air Bender or The Legend of Kora where once you're blessed, you can "bend" the element for which you've been blessed with. If it wasn't clear, Aquans, Erthys, Flaemis, and Aeros each represent water, earth, fire, and air respectively. I've based them off of the four Element class demons in the Shin Megami Tensei series.

And, yes, mundanes have to be blessed to be able to control magic.

Okay, so... I suppose, for Lanyc to have a human form, he would then need someone to put that kind of spell on him? I'm just wondering what all the Deities can do. Also, yes, correct about elements. Boo-Ya.

Also, if I'm understanding correctly, most mundanes have been blessed with magic, thus the 'Chosen' get, basically, and extra blessing, yes?

Like I mentioned, my friend's gargoyle character was a human who got possessed by a gargoyle spirit. (Synopsis of what happened here) You could make your character half gargoyle if you wish; then you wouldn't have to get into how (s)he got his/her human form.

No, mundanes are completely human and can't normally control magic. There are no mages. A human has to be blessed chosen by a deity in order to be able to use magic, and those chosen are very few. Like, 0.000000001% of the population can use magic because they were chosen.

You were walking down a dark and lonely road, just minding your own business, when suddenly, you felt a sharp pain. your vision went white for a moment, then you found yourself in the audience of a winged creature. This creature didn't seem to want to harm you, though. Flapping its wings, it said to you, "you who have died so suddenly. I have been sent to give you a second chance at life." it paused, "However, in order for me to do so, you will have to absorb my powers." in the shock of the past events, all you could do was nod. the creature smiled, "wonderful." it lunged at you, and you braced for impact, but instead of getting knocked to the floor, the creature disappeared upon reaching your torso. a new kind of pain erupted from your back, as you grew the same wings that the creature had. you rose to your feet, though you didn't recall being knocked down, and ran. you ran until you couldn't run anymore. exhausted and dazed, you looked around and saw you were in a forest clearing. there were several other people there, all with wings and the same confused expressions. a voice rang in your head, 'I will always be a part of you now. thank you for accepting the avian's curse, Host.'

Appearance: Gargoyle Human Hybrid

Personality/bio: As a laid-back, easygoing, Gargoyle, Lanyc isn't exactly a typical choice for battle. In fact, this snide joker would much rather do his own thing than follow others. Well, unless your his close friends, like Asher, a black female Bat Gargoyle with arms and wings, and Rooster, a more Gryphon like male Gargoyle with arm-wings and a mohawk. Many think the trio should disband, as their type of 'fun' isn't very fun to everyone else. None of the group much cares for these comments, but Lanyc usually has the guts to actually do something about it. Although laid back, he is rather loyal. Some say he's more dog-like because of this. He can't help but defend his group. To him, their more family than any of the others had been.

Magic/other: With the blessing of Aeros, Lanyc was granted Wind type Magic. A bit redundant in his mind, as he can fly in Gargoyle form, but forgiving as it allows Lanyc to soar as a human. He's also rather fond of condensing the wind in order to create balls of wind which has become is main attack. Sure, the small ones are like rubber bullets, but their simple and non-taxing to make. Bigger ones take a bit more time, especially if condensing it more so to make it more powerful, and, typically, they take more energy as well. What takes the most time would be creating tornadoes, which also can be taxing. High winds aren't that much of a problem, but, again, it all depends; larger the area, the more time and energy, and the smaller the area, the less time and energy. The usual logical sense.

Also, with being a Human Gargoyle Halfling, it is unclear as to how this will effects Lanyc's lifespan. A nifty side-effective he was born with is that he becomes human during the day, and Gargoyle at night. Over the years the pain of the changes have numbed, but it's still there. Also, as just a random birth defect, Lanyc is blind in his right eye, hence the eye-patch.

Personality/bio: (Under Construction)
Introvert, Intuition, Feeling, and Perceiving [INFP - The "Dreamer"]

Magic/other: Very well versed in plant types, his new elemental abilities, courtesy of Diety Erthys, is one that is rather suiting of him. In a way, having Earthy abilities, and the knowledge of such, would have made him a perfect candidate of being a Healer. However, Justyn would rather not be confined to such a task, as having to do actual work bores him. Incidentally, he wouldn't mind being a Scout type and a fighter, thought he probably doesn't deem them 'work' as he does 'fun'. Also, aside from just growing plants, Justyn can also form them to make weapons, as well as using larger plants as teleporters. A lot of powers it seemed, but ever power has a price, as he would say. For him, it hold true. Fire is a natural enemy of his, more than usual, and his power tends to drain his energy fairly quickly. Sure, small flowers and vegetables are no trouble at all, but trees do tend to take a tole. He's also only able to 'Plant Hop' about 5 time, with long distances, before weakening.

On a side note, Justyn is the youngest son of four siblings. West is the eldest, Kyrie and Reno are tied for middle [twins], and then him. His family works on a farm, and his elder brother, West, is currently training in the army.

You should know that Aeros is only wind (so I'm not sure where you're getting illusions out of that) and Erthys has more to do with soil than plant life. I'd revise their magic info.
