Rules
* 6 v 6 single Double battle, or 6 v 6 Single Battle (please specify, or we will do Double Battle)
* Voice chat will be off
* Species clause
* Item Clause (No two pokemon may have the same held item.)
* Evasion or Accuracy Boosting/Reducing moves
* No sleep (This includes Rest)
* No One Hit KOs
* Stealth Rock clause
* I allow legal hacks, but Illegal hacks/movesets are banned
* No ubers/legends
^ These rules apply to the Gym as well.

Challenges
* Challenger must Roleplay their way into my Gym. You must also challenge me in character.
* Post name and friend code after you finish your entry paragraph(s).
* Have your team registered in this thread here.
* If you are challenging me, you must be persistent. I will not come looking for you on the Forums, so you must PM me a time and date if you want a battle.
* Unresponsive challenges will be canceled.
* When the gym is closed for any reason, you may still post your challenges.
* The Gym's roster is subject to change. This will, as previously stated, not affect rematches made with switched pokemon.
*Challengers must specify between Singles and Doubles battle.


Rematches
* I will be able to hold all rematches the following day. (Not 24 hours. Just the next day.)
* Trainers who have requested another battle may only change one pokemon per rematch.
* I will always use the same pokemon in rematches.
^*Exception: The format is changed from Single to Double battle or vice versa. In such a case, the Gym leader and the challenger may completely revise their team.
* If my roster changes, and a pokemon a trainer fought is taken off the list, that pokemon will still be used in the rematch.
* You must Roleplay submitting for a rematch. A minimum of two sentences of in character action for every rematch.
* You don't need to resubmit your info unless I ask you to.
* Trainers are responsible for their rematches.

Now, since I follow my own rules, my Roleplay:

The workers lowered the neon sign onto the indent carved into the stone building that was the Sub-Zero Gym. Deep inside the Ice Path of Johto, the gym was remote and far underground. Only the most elite, hardcore, long-suffering trainers dared to attempt the climb into the maws of the Ice Path, let alone knew of the Gym's existence. Those who braved the descent were met with freezing tempatures and agitated Ice pokemon. Wild Deliberd and Swinub gaurded the gym unknowingly, making it a treacherous and dangerous journey.

The Gym itself was a solid stone building, carved out of the belly of the Ice Path. Inside the man made tunnel was a small living section, where the only source of electricity-generated heat could be located. Beyond this room lay the gym floor, decorated with real icicles that dripped from the ceiling occasionally, the drops of water always freezing before even hitting the floor. There, on the edge of the arena, was a throne of solid ice that Vincent sat upon, bored, awaiting your challenge.

Inu Ryu hastily sprinted into a blizzard of black snow. He crossed a frozen wasteland for what seemed like hours, until he saw a mid-sized structure. Inu slipped and slid to get to the building. The partially black clad person stepped inside the place, which he finally realized was a gym. The man from the Ryu family read the rules and noticed he was not greeted. The trainer thought nothing of it, so he snatched the belt on him with six pokeballs adorned on it, and went inside the room that felt as cold as a brewery. Inu Ryu spotted with his eyes a man with white hair, sitting on a powdery throne. The two greeted each other.

"I wish to challenge thee, Vincent Lance. My pokemon shall fight with a blaze in their eyes so bright, your pokemon will be outshone." Inu Ryu spoke to the cold gym leader, now with his Ice pokemon surrounding him.

Vincent stood from his chair, a grin plastered onto his face and a pokeball in hand. He was tall, his long cape not even touching the floor. He had spiky, ice-blue hair and white, flowing robes. And the creepiest part was he looked happy to see Inu.
"We'll see if we can't extinguish that blaze. Let's go!"

Just go with it, mas. Even if you're bad at RPing, (I'm not saying you are, i'm just giving an example.) you get credit for trying.

"RESULTS! Vincent Lance-4, Inu Ryu-0 The winner is the Gym Leader!"

Vincent held out a hand to Inu.

"Rematch sometime? You can stay in the guest quarters until you're ready, and there's a healing center in the foyer."

"Good game. It was well played. That battle was immensely fun. I'll be back when I hath become stronger." Inu Ryu congratulated on the leader's victory over Inu's pokemon.

That was a pretty fun battle, I must say. Even though the hail and Toxic Spikes mostly screwed me over. And, again, I'm sorry for not seeing the rule about Leftovers (and so broke it). I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

EDIT: Putting more RP in.

Sure thing

Back on his throne, Vincent reviews the previous battle in his mind, noting what did that could be done better next time. His opponent want into the guest room, where he no undoubtedly would be healing his pokemon. Vincent decided to take a nap in his freezing cold chair, letting his Froslass relax a few feet above him. She had worked hard in the last challenge.

"Good job, Froslass. You did stellar!"

Wow....I need to stop myself there. I Roleplay too much

I know how you feel. I barely stopped myself on the first one. I'm quite a writer myself. I would love to RP, but I don't, for some reason.

Inu shook Vincent's hand and crept off to bed after healing his pokemon in the empty and lonely foyer. The trainer then plotted what he could do to be better in the next battle. He mumbled to himself, "If I did this.... No, too risky. What about.... No, that'd be against the rules. This one...... Yeah, and this one!"

EDIT: A few days of harsh and arduous training later, The once defeated trainer came back with confidence brimming from his aura. Inu marched into the Aurora colored sub-zero room and told Vincent Lance, "Like I said I would, I came back for ya. Today, I feel like victory is on my side."

Vincent knelt to the floor, his knuckles burying themselves into the solid ice. He had been defeated fairly, and he was ashamed, yet honored at the same time.
"Congratulations, sir Ryu. You have bested me in battle. I present you with-"
He pulls out a badge.
"The Celsius Badge! You earned it, so congratulations."

Inu Ryu took the new shiny milestone of victory called a gym badge with great pleasure and honor. "I thank you for the badge, and the very honor of battling you to receive this. This victory will not be taken for granted, no. Is it ok, if I were to come back one day to battle you again, but for fun?" Inu thanked then asked of the defeated gym leader.

EDIT: That was a great game played. I'll take your Celsius badge with great admiration.

Totally forgot your Slowbro, man. I used Glalie to finish off Gallade and thought I was done. I did a little dance, and then I'm like "WTF HE HAZ 1 MOER!"

That is totally worth a Rofl. When you exploded your Glalie, I was just like, "What the crap just happened?! I thought he was gonna do some devastating attack." I thought about switching to Slowbro to take a hit from Glalie, but then, I thought I should see who's faster of the two so I could maybe get a Close Combat in. I'm glad I decided to CC.

Inu shook the gym leader's hand and congratulated Vincent for trying. "Good luck with the gym, ok? I wish you all the best. I'd love to be a gym leader. I have everything ready to go, but..." The man from the Ryu family gave out his last words to Vincent Lance. The victorious trainer then nonchalantly went on his way back out of the treacherous tunnel.

So one day I was about my usual business, like training on a haeavy, pneumonea inducing blissard until I bump into a crytal-ice palace. "OMGWTFPOPSICLE" I exclaim!

I enter the building and I find out it's a Gym runned by a young, light blue haired boy.

"Are ya the gym leader?" I ask, "Indeed" he responds. "Well I wish to test my Skills withyou as an ace trainer, What'ya say?
