After I had the majority of Pokemon, including Novelties, I was all "I need to improve". And at first I was just 'Oh well, get rid of the 30s in IV, make it 120+..." even as I searched for my shinies.
And not long after that, I was getting higher and higher.
Now, for me, 'low' is anything under 130. And it's not high until it's over 160. Anything else goes straight out the door (except for shinies).
Do IVs matter to you?
Only for the Battle Tower, and, soon, only for six species.
140 IV with a good nature is viable to me.
PokéHunt is another story...
Only for certain species, and pokehunt.
The lowest IV's i ever seen and had were about 20-22 on... Type: Null, I think.
Anywhere from 150 and above is good enough for everything.
They matter for the Pokehunt, and for Battle Tower 'mons. Otherwise, no, I don't really care about IVs on GPX+. The games + competitive battling are another story entirely, of course.
