I bred some Castforms here on GPX, but I was wondering, since the Pokemon change with the weather, do the sprites just do that automatically or do I have to do something with them?

*splahes about*

in your Poketch, each pokemon has a drop-down menu titled "Options"; click on it to view other options and things you can do with that particular pokemon. if it's in bold, then that means it's ready to evolve/change forms, and the option to evolve/change forms will appear in the drop down menu. as far as i remember, i believe you have to wait 7 days (?) and then have the castform in your party during a particular weather to get the desired castform form. at that point, your drop-down menu for that pokemon should be bold;click on it and change the pokemon's form from there.

also, i apologize to the mods; i'm sure if your allowed to ask/answer questions like this one, but i just figured i'd go ahead and answer it.

EDIT - never mind, looks like people are allowed. gosh im such a noob

It's five days (not seven), and the Castform does not need to be in your party.

Also, as an additional note, you can go to Castform's entry in your Dex on GPX+ and see what weather is needed for which form by hovering your mouse over the mini-sprites in the forms box.
