Hello everyone! No, I haven't died. I apologize for my lack of activity as well as the lack of updates by Jeff and I. We've both been extremely swamped with our daytime jobs, and it's definitely hurt GPX. I've also been out of commission since Saturday with a cold/fever.
I know you've all been wanting a Secret Santa Exchange, but given that it's already Christmas Eve, it's a little too late for that. However, we're going to have a New Year's Exchange! You'll be able to, starting immediately, submit a Pokemon, and at reset on New Year's Eve (11:55 PM EST on December 31st), you'll receive a randomly selected Pokémon of the same rarity (with summonable Legendaries + Manaphy in a separate category from Exploration-only ones). I'd suggest you all read the Help section on Exchanges before doing anything, as submitting a Pokémon is irreversible! Note that the Pokemon either must be submitted out of your party, or you must have a free slot in your party. Also, the rest of today and tomorrow will feature a multiplier as well as three Plusses being active! Again, we apologize for the silence around here the last few (several?) months. The site has not been abandoned, and as you know Wymsy is thankfully still around and able to do her thing as well as help prepare the staff for future updates, and we do have some big things in the works for 2014. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and of course well-wishes to all of you who celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other festive holiday around this time of the year! A big thanks to all of our staff and contributors for all they've done this past year. Krytie edit: Note, putting a pokemon into the exchange will reduce your available party space by one until the exchange is complete. This is to ensure there's room for the pokemon you will receive. It's gonna be tough to decide on a Pokemon I want to exchange this year, maybe I can pick another shiny that I can bear to part with and put them in. It worked out pretty well last year.

Happy holidays, everybody! This will be the first exchange that I actually take part in. I just need to choose if I am going to submit a shiny or a legendary. Just one question: is there any advantage to submitting the Pokemon early, or does it matter if I wait until the last minute so I can use all six spaces in my party over the next couple of days?
