The Aron rushed forward towards Bronzor, Poochyena following behind him, filled with rage. The skinny grunt just chuckled and leaned against the wall, not even bothering to give a single command. He did feel a bit uneasy, looking down at his fallen partner who was slightly bleeding from the nose. He groaned and moaned, still unconscious but well aware of the vanishing pain.

Marcus sighed, feeling sorry for him. He shook his head, focusing on the battle and ordered his comrades to move out of the way and retaliate. Baltoy moved away easily, using its psychic energies on the Iron Armor pokemon, throwing him into a wall. This resulted in an easy victory. Bronzor, on the other hand, failed to dodge the Puppy, taking a critical hit from him, resulting in his loss.

Now it was down to a healthy Baltoy and near-weakened Poochyena.

"That was unexpected. Baltoy, Tackle it."

Marcus growled as he recalled the fallen Mirror, silently thanking it for its assistance. Baltoy spun forward before that last sentence, catching the Puppy, Marcus, and the goon off-guard. It slugged its body head on, causing the dark type to cry out in defeat. The goon, now at a loss of words, recalled his pokemon and silently insulted his partner and Marcus, fleeing the building through the window. The now conscious goon sat up, groaning again as he looked at the defeated Aron a few feet away. He did the same exact thing his partner did, fleeing the building. Marcus felt relieved and thanked Baltoy, recalling it and heading deeper into the building. He wondered if the source of the scream was still there or not.

"Poochey!" The cry of pain cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Max was deeply concerned. He had seen a grunt picking on one of Max's own Pokemon before, and he didn't like the idea that they were all there. Max and Jeff started running toward the source of the noise. They traced the scream to an old warehouse on the outskirts of the marketplace. Max slowly started entering the rickety building with Jeff right behind them. Suddenly the doorway started to cave in. Max tried to move his legs with no success. He was paralyzed with fear, and the doorway was going to fall on him!
