I really hate Aaron's Vespiquen. I nicknamed it War Beast because of this very good reason:
Once you get it's HP down to yellow, it uses Heal Order. Then it uses Defend Order. Defend Order raises Sp. Def and Defense. It takes forever to get it down to the yellow, then it heals . . . it's evil. Don't forget the ability . . . Pressure. So now your PP goes down twice as quick! At least they should rid Defend Order or change the ability. It's kinda unfair. It might take half an hour to destroy that thing, and then, you're basically all out of PP. Evil . . . little . . . Beequeen . . . (Jap. Name for Vespiquen. I like the Jap. name better, anyway) Now, does anyone agree with me? --------------------     They're my new babies.   But this baby needs help the most. Help her to Lv. 100? Please? *Does Puppy Eyes* You're so jealous. Because these are my claims: Altaria:  Shiny Altaria: Shiny Shaymin:  Shiny SKY Shaymin: Don't have an awesome animation code for this one . . . dang. Now we need to wait before Ampharos and Kangaskhan arrive before there is a real party . . .  |

My Rapidash took it out quite quickly. I find a fast hitter with high special stats works wonders.

Yeah, I did . . . evenutally . . . using Fire Blast Twice. But the sad part is that my pokemon are under level. (Mid 40s/Early 50s) So, yeah.

I always tend to start off with a fire starter so its usually no problem with me, I've never really had to level any pokemon for any reason during any of the Pokemon games anyway, I always same to be just the right level. Anyway, I'd just use my starter to take it out quickly, but I can see where you're coming from if you aren't properly prepared.
All I can say is kill it... Kill it with fire... And lots of it preferably. |

Bug/Flying types have a HUGE weakness to Rock moves.
Exploit it with Rock Slide, Stone Edge, etc. |

I had trouble with her, as well. That is, until my Rapidash (I named him Entei, after the fire horse in InuYasha) learned Flare Blitz. I just put him at the top of my party for Aaron, take out the first Pokemon with it, and then use Flare Blitz on Vespiqueen. Since Entei's HP is now low, I switch him out for the next Pokemon. My Torterra can easily take out his Drapion with two Earthquakes. Then I send out Entei again for Beautifly, use Fire Blast, and boom, Aaron's just lost the game (I know, stupid joke).

I had some trouble with it the first few times around too. Abomasnow sorted that out for me, If he failed it was up to Rapidash or Chimecho to cover.

Ah yes... I had that same problem while fighting Aaron with my under-levelled Honchkrow. 'A' <was trying to level her up there> ...Yeah I had the urge to fling my DS after about 3 rounds of it not dying and me having to start using Max Potions... >__> so I took the easy way out; -Switch my lvl. 51 Honchkrow with my lvl. 75 Infernape -Infernape use Blast Burn -VESPIQUEN DIES -???? -PROFIT! ...sorry I got carried away. XD But you know what else is annoying? Playing Platinum version, beat Elite 4, finish the Stark Mountain Quest and try beating Cynthia again. I swear my heart leapt to my throat when I fought her after doing the Stark Mountain thing and her Garchomp went from level 64 to 78. OAO ....Took me forever to finish of that thing. *is not a fan of ice-pokemon/moves/TMs so nyehhhhhhh* --------------------  *Darkrai obsessed fangirl*       Hugs and berries for my pokemon are hugs and berries for your pokemon. |

I've never had any trouble with Aaron's Vespiqueen - that tends to be a 1-hit KO, with any fire attack.

I actually like how they change the Japanese names. ビークイン (Beequeen) seems uncreative in my eyes.
What I did for beat that thing is use my Magmortar, and shoot fire blast at it. It died very easily. -------------------- |
