Okay so I came up with the idea that I would give away one of the Pokemon that never leave my PC because well they aren't being well taken care of if they're just sitting in there all the time so maybe I'll give it away to somebody a little more willing to care for them. I would love to care for all of mine but I only really want the important ones as well as some of my favorites. So I figured I'd have a little hide and seek type deal where I hide a dress up item inside a Pokemon dress up (little candy, flower, Big mushroom etc) and whoever finds the item first PMs me. I'll release the Pokemon and in 15 minutes you can claim your prize at the shelter (if you can get it =P) if not then another person will pick up the prize. These won't be your regular run of the mill common Pokemon. Some may be Novelties like a Winter Vulpix (since I'm currently Breeding them =D) or even a Legend like Ho-Oh or Groudon. There will be more Rare Pokemon than anything else but every now and then I'll do a Very Rare or Novelty.
So my questions are. 1.Is this allowed? 2.Would you be willing to find the item for the chance to get a Rare, Very Rare Legend or Novelty? Let me know what you guys think. If this is not allowed I do apologize. I've only been here about a month and I'm not completely familiar with the forum rules and restrictions. Thanks! -------------------- |

Well... it's not against the rules but I doubt anyone will try for it. People can ask friends to breed novelties. Rare pokemon are actually quiet common. As for legends, mass clickers release them every once and awhile. They aren't that hard to get.

Things like this aren't allowed because it would lead to people flooding the shelter and bogging down the servers. Things like this may not be against the written rules, but it's an annoyance to the point where it may as well be.

I'm not saying everybody do it. I figured since I get a good amount of good hatches maybe I'd give some up since they're just sitting in my PC.

I also have some good pokes in my PC but I don't go and make thread about releasing them.
No offense, I'm just saying. You can always release them whenever you want, somebody will pick them up already. -------------------- |

Well I thought I'd make it fun for me and other people. Its boring just releasing them into the shelter and hey maybe somebody really needs something which will give them more incentive to give it a shot.

Am I the only one thinking it might be kind of a fun idea? >.>
Whether or not a thread about it is allowed, I don't know, but I'm sure you could always advertise the event in your status, journal, and signature. I don't see why that wouldn't be acceptable. -------------------- |

I don't think that idea is even possible...iirc when you release a pokemon it clears everything you've done too it (description, nick name, dress up...ect)...and I wanted to do something like that once but it seemed like a bad idea when I thought about it more...

Though it's not against the rules, we generally don't support stuff like this because it would cause flooding and/or people will be spamming this section with their own personal 'game'.
If you would like to do something like this, I would suggest you keep it in your journal or signature. -------------------- |
